  1. To get the great Fear Inoculum customs, you can try to send a Message to the original creator https://www.reddit.com/user/bwaredapenguin/ on Reddit. Worked for me.
  2. Hi, Bwaredapenguin deleted his account and now I can only find the song he made on Youtube, I wonder if someone could create a CDLC out of it? Or a new one, I really want to play it with Rocksmith, I know it'll be faster to learn it. The song is : When my train pulls in, by Gary Clark J.
  3. @@bwaredapenguin, I tried to reproduce this specific scheme. No more issue with DDC v3.7. Thanks for reporting this
  4. @@bwaredapenguin That's a bug in DDC that can happen if you begin a handshape that has both chords and notes on a note instead of a chord. A workaround is start the handshape at the first chord.

  6. I gave up on this chart too, I have no idea what the bends are supposed to be. I think it important to keep the quality level of what is chosen for the Championships at a high level. Is there anything we can do to vet charts better? I'm willing to help if there is anything I can do. We can't improve existing charts, but what we can do is test the songs before we add them to song selection list. Tiny bit of sanity checking to see whether the tab makes any sense. If it has anything weird happening, it shouldn't go to song selection list. But I don't want to put the blame on the people who actually have added songs to the song selection list, because the list has been super dry for months now, and making good selections has gotten harder and harder because of that fact. So we do still need you guys to enter songs to the song selection list. I think ultimately the responsibility to finally go yay/nay on the selected song is on the person who's hosting the week. It is our job to re-check the suggested songs before we host a new week, just to make sure someone hasn't absolutely screwed up with the grade opinion or that the chart is more than reasonably playable. We all have our lives happening around us, so sometimes it is hard to find time to do a thorough job and ultimately we'll all suffer from these mistakes. I appreciate the fact that we have good amount volunteers hosting these weeks, otherwise we'd have way more capo-weeks. Anyways. If you want quality charts, you can't really get any better quality than the works of bwaredapenguin. They are absolutely OCD ODLC quality charts (with the exception of dynamic difficulty)!
  7. It's odd cause that song should already have DD. I have no top 3 to offer simply because i don't play CDLC beside mine or Bwaredapenguin.
  8. Thanks! Interesting result :) Honestly didn't expect you to struggle with the bends. So I take you'd say the Bob Marley song is harder than the Beatles? Using toolkit to unpack the songs.psarc, which holds the on-disc songs. Then finding the files that you need to create a dlc file and re-packing it with new name. After re-packing, you can change the scroll speed in CFSM. ^ That's how it works, but I wasn't able to get that to work, but luckily I know bwaredapenguin. He does high quality dlcs; just look at the cdlcs he made of the latest Tool album. He also extracted Satch Boogie from on-disc songs and created this: <link removed> Appreciate the link! That particular Bob Marley lead track is harder for me personally, though that is because vibrato technique is still one of my less refined areas of guitar playing, especially two or more semitone bends on the high E. Before I started the guitar paths on this contest, I had major issues even bending whole steps on the G string, which is less of the case now after practicing lead a lot more often.

  10. @@bwaredapenguin Yo, thanks for the Enema of the State album Mr Penguin! Excellent work, as per!
  11. @rhyspinot Think you have your answer. You may have multiple versions (duplicates) of the same CDLC that cause the game to lockup. Run CFSM>Duplicates>DuplicateType (check for both) on your collection. Use CFSM to delete any duplicates. You can thank @bwaredapenguin for recognizing the issue. Let us know if this fixes the problem.
  12. @@rhyspinot Be sure to report the corruption to the CDLC charter ( @@bwaredapenguin ) so it gets fixed. If you can't find the charter then report the CDLC to a CF Mod so that it gets removed from Ignition. Thanks
  13. @bwaredapenguin reported that CFSM was sometimes changing the arrangement represent (default, bonus and alternate) values in repaired CDLC. Turns out this was being caused by a bug in the toolkit. Both CFSM and the toolkit have been updated to address the issue. You should now be able to repair CDLC with latest build of CFSM which will correct the toolkit bug and will also correctly maintain the arrangement represent information in repaired CDLC. Thanks for reporting the bug.
  14. @firekorn@bwaredapenguin I think I did. It was due to an old version of the RSTK. I downloaded the new version and converted again a song, that was "damaged" before. Now it seems to work! Thanks a lot!

  16. @@raynebc There's someone that have been interested in EOF code over the discord which should be @@bwaredapenguin on the forum, not sure if he actually contacted you about anything yet but might be interesting for you to talk :) As for the latest beta, it does seems like it work so far, i was able to enter and save my preferences without any bug for the few times i've tried and it also seems to have been the same issue that cause the tech view issue. Great job :)
