  1. Is this a pure windows pc? because I got the same problem on my mac when running RS2014 on a virtual machine (parallels) with windows 8.1 in OSX mode on this mac everything works fine for RS2014, but I would like to run it on the windows virtual machine for this should be easier for me to stream to twitch tv. because in OSX I have sound issues when streaming to twitch...
  2. EOF is not installed in one of the program files directories, but in the download directory of my mac. I don't get an error 4, but an error 6 code. And I can show the waveform graph and the spectrogram (even both at the same time). So memory is probably not the issue. Also, do you have any idea how I can load mp3's without converting them first with audacity? OK, good news!! I have found and fixed my two problems!! :geek: The problem seems that you really need to, when working with EOF on a windows 8.1 through parallels on a mac, make sure you put EOF (the whole shebang of files and folders and executables) on your windows drive and not on your mac (as i did in my macs download folder). You also need to make sure that your songfolder and mp3 are located on your windows drive!! just put everything on the C-drive of your windows (preferably in the EOF folder, so you can locate everything very easily)... So now, I can load mp3's without any problem, and I also can add a leading silence without any problem...
  3. Yes, I use the re-encode option, because I can not deselect this option, nor can i select the stream copy (oggcat) option. But I also can not import mp3's (so I convert the mp3 with audacity to ogg) into EOF in windows (officially paid 8.1 version) running through parallels (officially paid version) om my mac, I can however import mp3's in audacity in windows on my mac, so there must be something odd going on, I just don't know what it is... As for the project path, there are so far as to my knowledge no folders using non-ASCII characters, just plain standard naming like "yellow submarine" etc... I already reinstalled EOF, but nothing seems to work... anything else I can do or try to make EOF work properly for me? without workarounds...
  4. They are as stated in the tutorial video in the default project folder, normally under: documents/WwiseProjects/"your song or file name"/.cache/windows/sfx/ , and there you should see your ".wem" files. But the .cache folder is a hidden folder, so you might want to set your folder options to show hidden and system files.
  5. Hi, I keep getting "could not add leading silence (error 6)" when I try to put in a leading silence of 3000 milliseconds. Any ideas on what is wrong?
  6. I was also looking into this, because I'm doing a beatles song at the moment in Eb, but whenever I load the gp or an xml file into EOF I get these "weird" chord names, and I just can't seem to get rid of them... tuning changes automatically upon loading the gp or xml files... So how do I change this so I don't get these weird chord names no more? Found it, change tuning in EOF again to standard E tuning by changing it in track - pro guitar - set tuning : and there you change everything back to 0 (zero = E standard tuning) Using the Rocksmit Custom Song Creator toolkit when creating your CDLC change the tuning to Eb, in that way your chord naming should stay the way it should be, so a (022000) is an Em instead of a Gm etc...
  7. updated: -changed name; so no more V1 or what ever appearing in the name in RS -whole different (better and easier) tab version for rhythm and base. -rhythm is now in Eb standard tuning -base is in E standard tuning and should be better synced (i hope)
  8. ok my first CDLC: the beatles yellow submarine is a fact, you can find it here: http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/yellow-submarine-r1445 Hope its ok and that you like it... :???:
  9. Make sure under Song --> Track you've selected one of the REAL options (REAL_Guitar for the lead). That should make GP importing available. Doh! ! Forgot about that one....... Many thanks!!!! Now only one problem left to solve, why is my EOF on my mac running in windows (with parallels) always giving me the mp3 is disabled, you need to install lame or vorbis tools, whilst under mac itself I "can" load mp3 files in EOF??
  10. can't load guitar pro files no more in Eof option seems to be disabled? Help please...
  11. oops, don't think I put my username along with my donation... not sure... ok looks like I did... sorry about this useless post... ;-(
