You can do an open string pinch harmonic. Pinch harmonics operate on the same concept as natural harmonics, its just you are using your picking hand to create the node. Kinda odd that it would be used over a natural harmonic though, and it probably -is - incorrect tabbing.
Are you talking about natural harmonics? Those you play by lightly touching a string at the designated fret. Dont press down though, let physics do the work. You should hear a higher pitched, clear note. A few tries should help you figure out how hard to touch the string. Most common ones are at the 5,7, and 12 (and 17,19, and 24) frets cause the rest don't fall precisely on a fret.
This song man, idk how much i riff repeated it yesterday. Got a 97% finally tonight though. (i hope this post isnt too late)http://i63.tinypic.com/2a610fm.png
I got a bit excited about the 6 string bass arrangement for 'In Petrichor Weaves Bleak Noise'. Turns out, it doesnt matter, you dont touch either of your extra strings the whole song :(
Never heard of Seventh wonder, but as soon as i listened to the song I immediately reconized Tommy Keravick's voice. Props to @@Gamut, I approve this choice greatly.
If you're having trouble with the bass power chords in hallowed, try the devils horns hand gesture. Index across the top 2, pinkey across the bottom 2, and clamp it tight with your thumb. I almost never miss them that way. And if you are doing fingerstyle, strum with the thumb of your right hand.
Hello, I'm a long time forum lurker, decided i wanted to try the championship. Here's my first tries on bass for Hallowed and Johny B Good. Not really used to E standard, my pinky kept flubbing notes. http://i65.tinypic.com/301zqm8.jpghttp://i66.tinypic.com/9azpc9.jpg
