  1. The Disc Import Tool will only work if you own the original Rocksmith on Steam. Maybe you can activate your retail disk copy of Rocksmith 1 on Steam?
  2. Yes, it is really simple: You buy the "Disk Import Tool" on Steam (consoles have something similar, I guess) and all your Rocksmith 1 songs show up in Rocksmith 2014. Edit: I guess this is called beeing ninja'd? :D
  3. Two super busy weeks, and after missing the last one, at least I wanted to post something for this week, even though its kinda crappy :-) Advanced Lead: 82 % http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=407739839
  4. wierd... would somebody do this just to troll people?
  5. @@Alex360 Nice, once more learned something new! I always assumed that I would have to tick the "bonus arrangement" box for every arrangement that is not the default one. Are there more labels than "Bonus Lead" and "Alternate Lead" ?
  6. @@Berneer thanks for your kind words, but most of the thanks should go to @@Alex360, since he did all the actual work :D Anyway, here are my thoughts: What you are describing is "intentional" in the way that it is not possible for us to mute the music automatically. I have added a section "How to use the metronome" to point this out more clearly. You could of course create a seperate CDLC where the .wem file is already nothing but silence and where the metronome is in the normal arrangement, but that would create lots of dublicates in the song list... And as you said, the flexibilty with the volume is a nice thing. I must admit though that I hate it to work my way through the menus to the mixer and back, so I have written a macro that presses all those buttons automatically :) Yes, your picture will work just fine! The important part is that the bars are in sync with the music. Apart from that, you can have as many empty bars in the leading silence as you want. I like to only use one empty bar though and place count-in ticks there as described in section 6. They will be present in the regular version as well. I would love to be able to rename the labels of the various bonus arrangements individually, too! But I guess this would require modding the game itself? But can you tell me how you achieved the label "Alternate Lead" in your picture? I only get the label "Bonus Lead" whenever I create additional bonus arrangements! Maybe there are more labels included in the game that we don't know about yet? Regards
  7. @@Alex360 I only wanted to report the problem I faced as a bug to help your development - I am aware this is beta and I am not expecting it to work perfectly after the first release ;)
  8. ... and then add count-in ticks on the four pre-song-beats and your custom will feel like official content ;) The drummer will count you in! Hit "Shift + E" on every of those four beats and select event "B0" for the first beat and "B1" for the other three beats.
  9. @@Alex360 Thanks for posting here :D So this means we don't have to work through Wwise anymore? This is fucking awesome!!! I have to look up all the settings everytime I convert a new song. It is the most annoying part of the whole process, and now this is completely gone? I ran into a problem, though: When I choose the .wav audio file, I get the error "Could not find WwiseCLI.exe or Audiokinetic directory" upon pressing "Generate". Then the Toolkit closes, which is quite inconvenient. I found two WwiseCLI.exes on my computer: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise v2013.2.5 build 4845\Authoring\Win32\Release\bin\WwiseCLI.exe" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise v2013.2.5 build 4845\Authoring\x64\Release\bin\WwiseCLI.exe" Also: What exactly does the quality number 0-9 depend on and what settings do you recommend (when the quality of the audio is not unknown)?
  10. I must admit that I also have the impression that we decided on something different (more metallic) than what we currently see in ForgeOn's list of awards.
  11. Stupid question, but what is "WC"? "weekly championship"? If so, it is probably not obvious to everyone. And I don't think "RS14" is necessary, since this is the only thing the site is about... I would prefer something like "CF Championship: Winner Advanced Rhythm". But I don't think that is necessary. If people are curious, they can click on the link to the awards page and the the full description. No need to overload a simple tooltip.
  12. Seems like good news after all :-) Is it just Firefox or are there no tooltips, when hovering over the trophies?
  13. In this Ignition-feedback thread of mine I have suggested to implement an actual filter for Multitrack-CDLC for the new search (among other things). But I have no idea if any of the developers have actually read that... I really don't like it when people add anything to the song name, but I understand that currently this is the only way to draw attention to multitrack versions (and they deserve it ;) )
  14. Ok! It would help to see the texts "Text 1", "Text 2", "Text 3" and "Text 4" instead of "Test Test" everywhere^^ But I'm going to guess that Text 1 = "Achievement Test" Text 3 = "Test" Text 4 = "Test Test" ... in the picture above Is that correct? Also, are you 100% sure that the text "User's Awards" is going to be replaced by "Text 1"? Seems to me like "User's Awards" may just stay there, as the title of the trophy-box. ... we clearly need a live example of where exactly which text is going to be placed, so we can get an idea what we should use it for :-)
  15. Ok, I thought 1. Award name was some sort of internal identifier. Are line breaks allowed for 1. Award name? Basically what I did under 2. could become 1., and 3. could become 2. I don't even know if we need short and long descriptions if we have the name and the tooltip.. Also: under 4., what are Cabinets?
  16. Well, here are my ideas: 1. Award name 2. Tooltip 3. Short Description: Just put the tooltip text in here, too a) Weekly trophies 1. Winner Beginner class 2nd place Beginner class 3rd place Beginner class Winner Intermediate class 2nd place Intermediate class 3rd place Intermediate class Winner Advanced class 2nd place Advanced class 3rd place Advanced class Winner Master class 2nd place Master class 3rd place Master class 2. User has won the championship competition in last week's Beginner class User has scored 2nd place in the championship competition in last week's Beginner class User has scored 3rd place in the championship competition in last week's Beginner class User has won the championship competition in last week's Advanced class ... copy and paste... b ) Leaderboard 1. Leaderboard: 1st place Beginner class Leaderboard: 1st place Intermediate class Leaderboard: 1st place Advanced class Leaderboard: 1st place Master class 2. User is currently on the 1st place of the championship leaderboard in Beginner class (maybe later: "User is currently on the 2nd place of the championship leaderboard in Beginner class", etc.) User is currently on the 1st place of the championship leaderboard in Intermediate class User is currently on the 1st place of the championship leaderboard in Advanced class User is currently on the 1st place of the championship leaderboard in Master class c) Diehard 1. Diehard championship participant 2. Diehard championship participant, playing in their class 5 weeks in a row without pass d) Video 1. Video winner Beginner class Video winner Intermediate class ... 2. User captured a video and scored a top position in Beginner class ... d) consolation prize 1. Consolation prize Beginner class ... 2. User has lost the championship competition in last week's Beginner class - Don't worry, at least you're trying! User has lost the championship competition in last week's Intermediate class - Show 'em what you've got! User has lost the championship competition in last week's Advanced class - You joined Advanced, so you're on the right path! User has lost the championship competition in last week's Master class - See why it is called Master class?
  17. Thanks! Considering I have released the first version of this nearly 11 month ago, 74 seems a low number :D
  18. I won't have time on saturday, so I better start posting some scores before I forget :-) It will still take a lot of time until I can play this properly... Advanced: Lead: 94.93 % (Master Mode) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=399249300 Rhythm: 92.26 % (Master Mode) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=399249443 Intermediate - Bass: 99.40 % http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=399248233
  19. Cups as "permanent" trophies are a neat idea! But shouldn't we focus on the weekly trophies first? Implement those, see how it works and improve it if necessary... one step at a time.
  20. Now we finally know where your avatar comes from^^
  21. I think it is readable and fine, since they won't be displayed next to each other I prefer 1st option (And I still think all three places on the leaderboard should be awarded - so it is the same system as every week) I prefer 2nd option (even though 1st is cool, too) Nice idea! But maybe simply every video should get the trophy? Because if you want to name a winner, who is it gonna be? Best score? Or best video quality? Most entertaining video? Just give the trophy to every video, there are never that many :-) Nice!
  22. Do you have any clue why this might happen? I know that sometimes the mastery seems to "have a limit" (below 100%) that you just cannot exceed, no matter how high your accuracy. I always suspected this was due to wrong/poor sections and phrases.* But I would say that I did those pretty well  * My idea was something like: A part of the song that is not part of any section will not count towards your mastery, even if you hit the notes in that "unassigned section". Also: Does it affect Score Attack, too?
  23. My problems appear under Windows 8.1, Firefox (auto update enabled, so I assume it is always up to date)
