  1. Rocksmith doesn't like the way the sections and phrases were set up. Run the file through the DDC creator and it will fix the problem for you. https://www.rscustom.net/ (latest) Since you are not creating customs don't worry about the config screen. In the DDC creator tab drag and drop the file in the empty box. Click generate.
  2. Customs made before the remastered patch can have this problem. I believe the CustomsForge Song Manager fixes this. http://ignition.customsforge.com/cfsm
  3. Change the other key. Im on my phone and i forget what its called. Import the psarc into the latest version of the toolkit. Change the key to anything else ex: cusacdcwnttm. Hit generate and see if it shows up. -Edit What's Next To The Moon had a title sort of "Hard Rock". You'll find that song in the H section. Bad Boy Boogie has a DLC Key of "ACDC" which might conflict with another ACDC song (I had no problem loading it, but I had no other AC/DC songs in my list). Change the DLC Key in the toolkit to anything else and see if it works. -Download latest toolkit -Click Import and select the file -To the right of SONG INFORMATION change ACDC to something else -Click Generate
  4. Since the remastered patch songs without DD might get stuck at 0 playthroughs. Add DD using the toolkit to fix it.
  5. (Apologies for not reading through 19 pages of the topic) - If the first note of a section lies on beat 2 of a measure, should the section/phrase be placed on beat 1 or 2 for best DDC results? - Is it still necessary to give similar phrases the same name? Thanks in advance.
  6. I just downloaded that one. It works without registering. Thanks!
  7. You didn't have to register in the past (none of us did) but it seems now you have to. If I get any spam from them I'll update this post.
  8. I did some forum searching and I can't redistribute wwise on these boards, but you can still download the version that works with the toolkit. On the wwise download page click "Older Versions". Unfortunately you have to register on the site, but if you feel uncomfortable giving them your e-mail address just use a throwaway. Download 2015.1.9 build 5264 (stable) and the autoinstaller will put it on your machine. You do not have to delete the old version, just point to the right directory in the toolkit (likely C:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise v2015.1.9 build 5624). FYI, I just installed this version and it works on my machine. Now you will never have to open Wwise again, and you are less likely to make a mistake during the conversion process (a common error when the song doesn't start properly). I bet that will fix the problem, but if it doesn't we'll go from there.
  9. No need to use wwise yourself. The toolkit will build the wem files for you. Delete your wem files (keep the wav and _preview.wav files) and the toolkit will automate. In the toolkit CONFIG menu make sure you are pointing towards the wwise directory (probably something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Audiokinetic\Wwise)
  10. Did you create the wem file in wwise or did you let the toolkit do it for you? Do you get preview audio from the learn a song screen? Did you accidentally change the package id to something other than Cherub Rock? Does the song play in Score Attack Mode? Just to get this out of the way, you have the dll file and can play other customs, right?
  11. What gear would it be? As soon as you start the game stay in the lead path and go straight into tone designer. It will be loaded up already and you can copy the settings into the toolkit.
  12. Not exact, but I bet the default plexi tone assigned to the lead path would mix in well enough. Give it a playthrough and see how it sounds. Remove the delay and reverb pedal though. Fiddle with the gain as needed.
  13. This is how you fix the crash (caused by an unusual chord) Using the rocksmith toolkit click on the DDC tab Click ADD and select the psarc file Under RAMP UP MODE select DDC_DD_REMOVER Click Generate
  14. (Assuming you are on PC) also, don't forget the DLL file http://customsforge.com/topic/33138-rocksmith-remastered-cdlc-fix/?p=231225
  15. Click IMPORT change the ID to a song you own Click GENERATE Or, just buy Cherub Rock and never have to change anything ever.
  16. You could try this. Using the latest toolkit select import, then hit generate. If you an error importing then you'd need the source files from the creator. -edit tried that, didn't work.
  17. It helps to have a generic clean, lead, and distortion tone tied to keys 2, 3 and 4. Sometimes this will work for a song with little effort. Also, tone breakers will kill your volume until restarting the game, but there are very few of these.
  18. Using the latest Rocksmith Toolkit beta: https://www.rscustom.net/builds Click import at the bottom Near SONG INFORMATION there is a volume button. Move the number closer to 0 to get a higher MUSIC volume (example, change -7 to -4) At the bottom are tones. Click each one and raise the (negative) number to increase the GUITAR volume (example, change -20 to -30) Click Generate to create a new psarc file. Getting the right volume is trial and error during song creation, you might have to try a few times.
  19. I remember reading a post by ubisoft on reddit some calibration settings may not have been saved after one of the recent patches. Wouldn't hurt to re-calibrate again in case that's the issue. Also the usual, check your intonation and try not to pick/fret too hard.
  20. I just played the Alex360 version. Detection worked fine when I played the intro riff. As mentioned in the comments, there is an DDDD chord that won't register. I then played the Shinyditto version. Detection worked fine during the intro riff. The comments say an update will come later.
  21. Which version? The one by Alex360 or ShinyDitto?
  22. Ran it through DDC and it still works on my PC using v2.7.1.0-60593c68. Do you accidentally have an earlier version of the song in your DLC folder conflicting with the new one (maybe called Heart_Magic-Man_v2_DD_p.psarc)? Sort by Name in the file explorer if your CDLC folder is too big so you won't miss it. Try playing in Score Attack (instead of Learn a Song) and see if it works. Does this file work for you? Remember to delete any existing versions. https://www.dropbox.com/s/52hij0speo0h05s/Heart_Magic-Man_v1_DD_p.psarc?dl=0 (I didn't add tones, clean tone to be expected)
  23. Tried again and it worked. Here's exactly what I did (without skipping any steps): - Opened up the notes.eof file using the latest version/hotfix of EOF - Deleted the tech notes starting from 196 seconds to 212 seconds - Saved and quit - Provided a placeholder album art file - Loaded up all arrangements in toolkit v2.7.1.0-60593c68 beta and filled in any blank fields - Created psarc file (I did not have Dynamic Difficulty generated) This may or may not be related, but I would put an INTRO section/phrase at the first note. Not having a section there will mess up riff repeater (possibly mess up DDC too).
  24. I used your files to create a psarc and Rocksmith crashed. Then I deleted all tech notes in the rhythm arrangement and was able to play from start to finish. I'll see if there's something else I missed.
