  3. While making adjustments to the tempo, were you syncing beat markers to the beat or shifting notes over?   4. By "ruining it" do you mean the notes in the guitar arrangement are overwriting the notes in the bass arrangement? If so, select a new track SONG->TRACK->PART REAL_GUITAR_22 before you import the guitar track.
  5. I don't use DDC Removed crazy note, I don't know how that got there Vibrato removed, didn't really think about that when I put it on Still the same issue. No note shows. Edit: I just tried a work-around where I terminated the first sustain note with another link next note (without vibrato) but that just put an open note with a tiny sustain tail on the end. As a side note, scroll speed in the RS toolkit doesn't seem to make a difference either. Scroll speed speed should be noticeable. Change it to 0.8 and it SHOULD be super fast.
  6. Using the latest beta toolkit https://www.rscustom.net/ Click IMPORT (at the bottom next to generate) and select the psarc file. All tones will be listed near the bottom. If you double click each tone you can change the amps, pedals, volume, etc. Don't change the tone information name or you may break the custom. Click GENERATE to save your file with updated tones.
  7. Change it to this and see if you like it: D String 16th fret (vibrato + link next) → D String 16th fret with unpitched slide to 1 (don't forget to add a bit of length to this note with the ] key or mouse scroll up)
  8. Also, a common issue seen here is using wwise yourself and something messed up along the way. Did you use wwise yourself (some of the stickies say to do this) or did you let the toolkit do the wem conversion for you?
  9. When a tone change fails, remove the arrangement and add it again. It usually fixes the problem. It's often caused by spelling errors or the wrong tones selected in the toolkit.
  10. Another thing: In the video you posted the bright blue highway lines extend past the last note of each handshape a little bit. If you want to do this (most think it's insignificant) extend the length of the last note by selecting it and mouse scroll up (or press "]"). Set the handshape with CTRL+SHFT+H, then mouse scroll down (or press "[") to return the note to normal.   11. Handshapes. Select the range of notes and press CTRL+SHIFT_H. More specifically: Using EOF click the first note you want in the "fingerprint zone" hold shift click the last note you want in the "fingerprint zone" let go of shift Now the notes are selected. Press CTRL+SHIFT_H You'll see the range of notes get highlighted. Click the first note and press F define the handshape the way you want it.

  13. Well, I was wrong about goplayalong "doing it for you". You still have to sync. Not sure why anyone would use it, let alone pay money to use it.

  15. Beat mapping isn't fun, but it is necessary and takes time. I've never used it but others say it works. http://customsforge.com/topic/15674-go-playalong-tutorial/ I wouldn't recommend following a tutorial telling you to move guitar notes instead of beats. If you have more than one arrangement it's a mess, plus the DD creator doesn't like it when you chart that way. There are other reasons as well. If you really wanna speed up the process, just sync the start of every section. If the band plays with a steady tempo you may get lucky and that will be enough to be playable.

It makes for an easier sight read if they aren't labeled with a name. Official content leaves them blank quite often (if you need an example check out the Free Bird rhythm arrangement). Usually they are used as "in between" strums when moving your hand up the fretboard.
  17. Anyone else getting a switch/Zelda? I'm in line (4 hours early) right now. I didn't care for the Wii (outside of wii sports and twilight princess) or WiiU, but I do love nintendo handhelds.
  18. i do believe i was prompted at some point at eof to make DD version, im pretty sure i clicked yes EOF won't auto create dynamic difficulty for you (the toolkit does). Does your psarc end in DD_p.psarc or NDD_p.psarc? If you go into riff repeater can you adjust difficulty levels? If there is no DD: Open up the latest toolkit and click on the DDC tab. Drag and drop the psarc file into the box. Hit Generate. This will give you a file with DD. You can verify by adjust levels ingame in riff repeater mode.

  22. You could use Rocksmith and use the tone you are going to add to the custom. This does not work if you are using audio through HDMI or USB or Optical. This does not work with some motherboards. This usually works with Windows machines using the green line-out port. Load up your tone in the game. When you switch over to EOF the sound from Rocksmith will cut off. Open up the windows Sound menu (Either right click the speaker icon in the bottom right or type "sound" in the start menu and it should pop up) Switch to the playback tab. "Speakers" (or something named similarly) will be selected as the default device. Select a different device listed and click "Default Device". You'll lose all audio from your speakers. Click speakers and make them the default device again. You'll get your audio back but this time you'll still hear your guitar in Rocksmith while other windows are active.
  23. Does the preview audio play when you hover over the song? Also, try it without adding DD.
