  1. When creating the WEM file did you set the granularity to 16384? I've seen topics where people had no idea why riff repeater wasn't working, and recreating the WEM file worked for them.
  2. Go for it, I updated the youtube description. While I hadn't heard the song I did a few practice runs before the video. That hard part in the beginning is easier if you keep your index finger on the 7th fret and hit the other notes with your middle finger and pinky. After playing the guitar part again, the HG-100 guitar amp was good and doesn't need to be changed. Couldn't hear bass with the current volume settings, so I switched to another tone. If you change the tuning from FCFC to CGCF the notes are the correct pitch. As for vocal lengths, you can click on a lyric and mouse scroll up to change it's length. No need to go crazy getting the length of every syllable exactly right, cause it won't even be noticeable ingame. I usually just worry about the length of the last lyric in each line, and max out the lengths of the other words, like this: http://i.imgur.com/zdFy2yG.png
  3. Well, I just played and it was fun! This is one of those songs where after it's over I feel like I've completed an epic journey. Thanks a bunch and good work. Here's my playthrough: As for that stuff you asked: 1) The tone matched well. To make it work with my gain settings I had to change the song volume to -5 and tone to -15. I'll listen to the song again later and see if I can think of another amp that also works. 2) (I'll give the bass a go later and give some feedback) 3) While I didn't play with DD, the section bars on top looked pretty normal. 4) As far as I know it SHOULDN'T mess up the BPM after the first note. It usually creates one really fast beat at the start and the rest are normal. Does the beat marker on the first note have an anchor on it? If not, I would place an anchor there and try it again. I'd hate to mess up your project if I'm wrong, so I'd back it up first in case it doesn't work and undo doesn't help. I bet fixing the offset thing will fix the COUNT phrase thing. 5) I've never seen anyone discussing how to import vocals from guitarpro. Everyone seems to use Ultrastar Creator.
  4. While fingerings for single notes could be used to influence what the fret hand generator puts out, don't worry about it now. You can ignore fingerings for single notes.
  5. It's a good idea to fill in chord fingerings. Lucky for us this is automated now (mostly). If EOF ask you something like "automatically fill in chord shape fingerings" (I forget the exact wording) you can press yes. It'll take all the known chords and automatically fill in the fingering, which IS visible in-game. It might miss funky chords if you have any. After you've filled in the chord shape fingerings, press CTRL+SHIFT+F and click "generate fret hand positions". Not only will the chart be easier to read in-game, but it'll get rid of all those warning messages every time you save.
  6. Should be fine (I think... lemme know guys if I'm missing anything) So long as you are able to transfer EOF+Hotfixes, WWise, and toolkit to the PC. After you create the psarc files just upload them through your phone again. You'll also need the audio file on the PC too, ripped from a CD or however you wanna do it. IF you are gonna use goplayalong you'll need that on the PC (as far as I know it doesn't connect to the web) and if you are gonna import tabs you'll need that too.
  7. Track->ProGuitar->SetNumberOfStrings change from 17 to 22
  8. I don't remember the exact link, but someone on the frets on fire website ripped most of the rock band content. It still involves some work but the content can be loaded up in EOF. I have the plastic mustang and it was fun for a little bit, but it's been sitting in my closet since RS1 came out.
  9. Learn a song - 80% Tone Designer 19% (noodling) Score Attack - 1% Nonstop play - 0% Guitarcade - 0% Lessons - 0%
  10. It does work with the Rocksmith cable. Gonna noodle with this in the morning.
  11. That looks freakin AWESOME. Gonna re-install my guitar->USB device to try it out. I wonder if it will work with the Rocksmith cable.... gonna try that too.
