  1. I have the MX40 which is similar. No problems here; the music sounds as it should.
  2. Select note (or range of notes) Press CTRL+SHIFT+O
  3. You can use the spacebar to make a space for a blank chord name.
  4. Yep. You can create a click track in Audacity. It's free audio editing software.
  5. Thanks again; I've used it twice already. Just out of curiosity: The log is showing a hundred changes in handshape lengths (<30ms). Example Log: Adjusted the length of handshape starting at 17.543 (Distance was 0.069, new distance: 0.103) Should these messages be ignored?
  6. Cool, just played with it and will be using it from now on.
  7. Link works; just played it. The sync is good. Fret hand positions are not good in parts of the song. Fixing them will make the chart easier to read. Look at the song in EOF. Press SHIFT+F11 until you can see the fret hand positions on top. Play each measure on your bass and see if your hand position matches with what's on the screen. Do this from the first measure to the last. It's a 10 minute song, so this will take a while. http://customsforge.com/index.php/topic/30557-guidelines-for-official-looking-customs/
  8. No problems when I played. 1) Loads/Tunes correctly. 2) Is Playable. 3) Audio Quality is good. 4) Did not notice any issues. 5) Tested the PC Version
  9. Rocksmith won't give names for single notes (whether or not you use solfege); only chords.
  10. If they add non-VR support I'll check it out. I know it looks to be an essential part of the experience, but graphics cards are a bit pricey at the moment.
  11. FYI Had this as an email from them yesterday Cool thanks for the heads up.
  12. Issue resolved. :) PART VOCALS_RS2.xml did not turn "=" into "-" like it normally does. PART VOCALS_RS2_EXT.xml gave me an error in the toolkit about not being a valid arrangement. In the Ultrastar file I saw two unique characters ‘ and ’ . I replaced them with ' . After that everything worked normally. Here is the ultrastar file with special characters at 591 and 601: https://pastebin.com/saG3JDxv
  13. Thanks for the updates. I noticed one thing broke in the newest update (maybe the 4/7/18 update too, I hadn't made anything during that period). "=" no longer works to connect syllables for lyrics.
  14. http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/http://customsforge.com/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014/ edit: Sorry, didn't see the PS4 part. This won't work. If you have a PC buy it (again). If you don't wanna spend $40, wait for the next Steam sale. You can use the same Realtone Cable you already have. http://store.steampowered.com/app/221680/Rocksmith_2014_Edition__Remastered/
  15. http://customsforge.com/index.php/topic/30557-guidelines-for-official-looking-customs/ Skip to "3.3 Sustained Chords with Hammer-Ons" for an example.
  16. https://www.audiokinetic.com/files/?get=2015.1.9_5624/Wwise_v2015.1.9_Setup.exe
  17. FYI you don't have to use Wwise anymore. The toolkit will run it for you if you have it installed.
  18. The second guitar you linked to was $25,000 that's quite a budget :) Beware of muddy B-strings. I agree you should test one out first. I have a model kind of like this: http://www.rondomusic.com/septorelt727ebcpflatbk.html except with EMG pickups and probably a few other things If you want to hear what it sounds like, I use it for (almost) all my playthrough vids: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCim2onP7wfbXSwviIqyZd6A https://www.youtube.com/user/rockfirstlast
  19. Check out Cherub Rock if you want to see what octave slides and tremolo picking octaves looks like in game. (But it doesn't have both at the same time, haven't really seen that).
  20. Oops. If you want to quickly strum all the notes a bunch of times during the slide, yeah tremolo will work. CTRL+O.
  21. You did it right. Test your chart and see how it looks. Select note and press CTRL+UP. Then select the destination (16th fret in your case). For a little bit of clarity shorten the length just a little bit so the notes don't touch.
