Even with the meme (thank you), I'm still able to play it and I'm just behind you ;) And with no kids at home, I can play this one on Saturday morning :p
-
What should I say... ;) but fear not, I'm like Vegeta in DragonBall we fight and get better, but in the end, you'll be ahead.. :(
-
Slowly getting better...
-
A few new scores...
-
Here are my entries for this weeks beginning : I think, for bass, Party police is the easiest one (not an intermediate, maybe a 3-ish), followed by Chasey Lane (between 3 and 4) and Angie is the real intermediate Bass...
-
I just spent more time than you on it... ;) and still wasn't able to 100% it :( Your victory on Naked is really impressive though...
-
Missed one E7, a the very end :( I'm so stressed to miss I press too hard and now my fingers hurt :(
-
Also a victim of the dreaded E7

First tries for this week I had a lot of note recognition issue on this one. The two strikes are at the end when I tried to play a E chord trying to figure what's happening and forgetting to play the song :( After some tries, I think it may be my the strumming, omitting the G strings and then, changing the chord to an E5 instead of E...

A few more runs for this week : Too bad my fingers hurt so much, I'm sure I could get a better score with a few more runs
-
Interesting week, here are me first tries on the new songs : Bass : Lead : Clapton's is nice and I like the riff, but damn the song is slow... Shinedown is really interesting and makes a nice workout for the pinkie ;) Rhythm : Both are quite easy and there should be quite a lot of 100% this week
-
@@meelo I suppose you tried to tune the string slightly flat to compensate involuntary small bends/strong freeting ?
-
Scores for the week : I didn't hit the print screen button hard enough therefore, I don't have a rhythm score for the week :( And because boys also want to have fun :
-
First runs :
-
This week, just had enough time to try the bass
-
No time to play this week as I was away, don't like the smashin pumpkins song and find the BEG Lead way too difficult. shouldn't it be an INT song ?
-
Some small improvements on the score this week:
-
Busy week, here are some score from earlier. It seems like a mixed P!nk songs versions though :(

Don't worry, I did get the joke and enjoyed it the first time I read it :) I don't care that much about charting but I must confess that not having "only one right way" to do things disturb me a little. In the bass part, it's mostly on E and A string (starting with 979 on A) whereas the guitar use the four low strings (starting with 424 on D). As I see it, bass players are more used to move along and first frets are really spaced out and not very practical whereas guitar players are more used to play in a box (four strings x four frets) My question was really a beginner question ? does the location matter or just hit the right note at the right time ? Is transposition a useful skill or is it more a gimmick for advanced players ?
