@@Toni-Wan Kenobi is better than me. If he stays in beginner Lead, it would be presumptuous of me to accept the promotion... especially considering I try INT Lead every week and seldom reach 80%... We can see the rules from the other side i.e. I will continue to play INT songs and if I manage to score >79% two weeks in a row, I will accept the promotion ;) Regarding @@diceslinger, he clearly has the level to move up, both in Lead and Rhythm, but I would understand if he decides not to has Toni and myself bailed out... Thanks man, though I don't think I'll be much competition for you in Intermediate. Nor will I be there very long, I suck! Ok, Toni - you are back to Beg. for now! @@Dice, @@Bounours i suppose you wanna take that int challenge! -

I thought we would move up in Rhythm before Lead based on past weeks results... It may be a bit early for me in INT but let's give it a try. I cannot let @@Toni-Wan Kenobi and @@diceslinger have all the fun :p If it's too much, I still can move down later on... -

No doubt for Rhythm Lead is a little bit trickier due to the slides at the end, but nothing a few RR can solve ;) As a beginner player myself, I'm not afraid to try this as I'm pretty confident to end up above 95% at the end of the week, and I cannot do that on INT songs...

Have a nice new week ! I'm curious to hear about the charting of the song by some more advanced players. Is this week version really more accurate than the one chosen by @@Toni-Wan Kenobi ? I think "The Cloak" is easier on bass than "Do I wanna know" and both are around 3/4 but it's not a 2 for sure...

I understand your point but the version you are talking about is easier than the one linked above. To be fair, everyone should be playing the same version...

Not yet ;) Winners are announced at the beginning of the following week. Your score is pretty good. If you get it after just a few tries, you may belong to advanced bass. Have you tried to play Seek and destroy ?

Thanks but if @@pedropmf is competing in INT Bass, the victory is his. He is new here and he may belong to another category or not... We'll see and we may both have someone to chase ;)

Welcome on board ! You can post your score for the different songs and categories during the whole week. You can access the leaderboard to check the current scores for all the players on the different songs. In the end, you really compete for your level on each of the category (lead, rhythm and bass) and depending on your level, you may be promoted or demoted but you can still play any song you want, just not compete ;)

Have a nice new week ! Here are my sight reading first tries and opinions on the level... To start with bass : Beginner: Intermediates: Advanced: Definitely out of my league Based on my %, Jump in my car should be in easy and Transformation in intermediate. I'm a little bit surprised by the difference between and 5 and a 6 there... Rhythm: Beginner: Transformation has quite a complicated patterns and is relatively fast. I'm not sure it is a 3 but doable with some work Intermediate: In comparison, Metal heart with an easiest pattern allowed me to score higher (but is sounded awful :() Lead: Beginner: Transformation is fast but the pattern is simple, I think it's a strong 3 with quick improvement in RR As Leg of Lamb was to complicated for me, maybe it is a little bit higher than 5...

First tries on the songs. All new for me... Sailing man on LEAD is more than a 3 IMHO but interesting to play I like Tom Petty, I'll have to look him up in Spotify : Funny to play : And I shouldn't started with this one... I don't have the stamina so it doesn't count as warmup :
