  1. No lessons here, but had tried a few times. I just did not want to travel an hour for a lesson. I have not found anybody local yet. Between Rocksmith, guitar courses, books and videos, I am coming along, but like you have a ways to go yet. My wife thinks Rocksmith is hindering my learning. It is difficult to resist and does offer lots of options. It is not perfect on its ability to detect your notes and one guitar seems to play better than another with Rocksmith. Could be a setup issue.
  2. Looks like it is working now. Thank you!
  3. I do not think it is av related. I have added it to the exception list, disabled the av and it does the same thing.
  4. I added the entire directory and windows always prompts for permission to run the update program. I have even run the update program with admin privaledge. I always have to download the new program and overwrite all the files in that directly.
  5. I have three machines the toolkit is on and the same thing happens to all three and I have added that folder to the exception list.
  6. I see it is enabled in IE 11, but it still is not working correctly. It downloads the update, looks like it is applying it, but when it restarts, the same version is running.
  7. Is This still being looked at? I am using Windows 7 and like the others, it appears to update, but does not. I have to manually download the new version and decompress it to where it is installed and then reset options.
  8. toolkit not generating custom with new build, the previous version of the toolkit did generate the custom without error. 2016-11-03 21:11:11.8204 | RocksmithToolkitGUI.Program (INFO) : RocksmithToolkitGUI.Program.Main Version: 2.7.1.0-1fb0b831 (32 bit) OS: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 (64 bit) Runtime: v4.0.30319.42000 JIT: MsX86 2016-11-03 21:11:27.9575 | RocksmithToolkitGUI.Program (ERROR) : RocksmithToolkitGUI.Program+<>c.<Main>b__1_1 RocksmithToolkitGUIVoid UpdateSongXml(RocksmithToolkitLib.DLCPackage.Arrangement, RocksmithToolkitLib.DLCPackage.DLCPackageData)Exception catched: System.NullReferenceException Object reference not set to an instance of an object. 9. The song counter is not incrementing. The last two songs that I ran the toolkit on did fix the 100% issue, but the counter remains at 0.
  10. It was the guitar version, not the bass version. It gave me error messages in previous versions about the tones needing something.

  12. I understand the freezing problem. It happens when a newer version of the toolkit exists. The auto update does not seem to be working most of the time. Could we have a pop up that a new version exists with a link instead of the freezing?
  13. The repacking id is not working for me in both version 4 and 5 of the toolkit. It just hangs when clicked on.
  14. It was definitely modifying/disabling the rs2014 songs that mess up the new feature that sorts/changes songlists. I was using v1.1.24 and It also happened on a later version, but not sure if it was THE latest edition. Seemed to be okay when disabling songs in rs1 dlc and compatibility files. I have to see how to restore the remastered version.
