  1. None of the CDLC on this forum works for RS1. RS1 uses a dat file and RS2014 uses psarc. We are not supporting RS1, and neither is UBI. 2014 has a lot more features and techniques available. I do miss a few things from RS1 but all around 2014 is better.
  2. You can simply change the tempo at the place it's messed up. Click on the beat marker ahead of the problem then go to beat make sure adjust notes is checked and then change it. Everything before that will remain the same. If it's just a section that is causing an issue set a beat anchor before where things become ok again, that way it won't wreck the rest of it.
  3. I would swear I answered this exact same question a few days ago. http://customsforge.com/topic/10504-alternate-lead/ topics merged.
  4. And if the song section is very easy DD will start higher. The bass line for my Amanda custom is so easy that DD takes nothing away, almost as if it's not working, but it works for the other instrument tracks.
  5. Well that would explain why I've never seen it do it then. I think I installed the game day one and added customs the moment they were available. Lol.
  6. Um. As far as I know that's just how dynamic difficulty behaves. Play it once and if you do well enough it will bring you up a lot. The other way, is to go into Riff Repeater and select the entire song and put the difficulty at100% it will then dumb down the sections you struggle with. Dynamic Difficulty has no clue how well YOU play, just how well you've played THAT song. Sorry, the game isn't perfect. Also using Riff Repeater to perfect a section will level up that phrase for the entire song. I think you're thinking of the RS1 behavior that tried to predict how well you would play a song based on your approximate skill level, but if 2014 does that, I've never seen it.
  7. So many things contribute, or hinder sustain. On the higher notes generally a lot of gain will make them sing more but could and probably will make it seem like too much for rhythm stuff. Materials the guitar is made out of and neck type set neck, bolt on and neck thru all affect the sound and where the guitar sounds best. Also the gauge of the strings will have an effect. If you have 8's on it it won't sing like it would with 10's. I don't know the ins and outs of that amp but I think that maybe the total of your package, even how close the pickup is to the strings will have an affect.
  8. So um here is my take on this. I own the songs I chart. As in legally purchased. Now, if you,the person downloading my customs also own the audio, legally, as is highly recommended in the site rules, there is no issue, none whatsoever. Now, if you do not own the audio, well that's on you not me. The fair use thing should also apply here since it is a learning tool.
  9. Specifically click the first note, shift click the last then ctrl+shift+g. It's an arpeggio. Meaning it is a chord that individual notes are played. In this case ultimately forming the chord. That's the only way I know to get it to show the chord shape up front without actually wanting you to play the chord up front.
  10. Use the second real bass and make sure to change the arrangement type to rhythm or lead in EoF before you import the tab for that track. If you need more than 4 instrument tracks you can finish one and save it. Then rename that track xml in the file folder and you now have 4 more spots you can use.
  11. Um. If you're playing multiplayer on her profile. Then it won't save the song progress onto your profile. I've never played multiplayer. Do you sign into both profiles? Meaning, are there two profiles active during multiplayer? Seriously, I've never used it so I don't know.
  12. Hmmm. That's a good question. When you end a song do you let it finish the Rocksmith is thinking thing ? At this point I'm curious as to what is going on so I'm trying to narrow it down. The only other thing I can think of is to verify local files through steam,, but I don't think that will help in this case.
  13. I'm not sure how your shutting down the game but. Back up until you get to the screen where you select learn a song and session mode. Then hit escape. it will say do you want to quit, hit yes. It will then take you to the original start screen. Hit escape again and confirm you want to quit. Then let steam sync before you shut down the computer. I also think this has something to do with the save file corruption issues. But can't confirm. I have been shutting down as stated above since day 1 with 2014 and have none of the issues people complain of.
  14. Easiest answer, buy the PC version of 2014. In the long run it's cheaper than Modding an XBOx we won't possibly even can't tell you how to mod an XBOx cuz you might kill it. Blame XBOx, nothing we can do about it. PS3 is the same way.
  15. And two questions about your "shower" . Did you use soap? And, did you dry thoroughly ?
  16. And thanks to Wepeel I just went on an almost hour long Family Guy voyage.
  17. Yep, delete the file and it's gone from the game. You can even separate songs by let's say artist and put them in subfolders inside the dlc folder. You could then remove those folders to say your desktop and have fewer songs in game. Remember, it will need to enumerate all new songs at game start though, so it may take a minute or 2 for a file full to show up in game.
  18. That song is in the wrong pitch anyway,, I'm putting a corrected version up now.
  19. Lol, the live site is the problem. They're not working on stuff, they're trying to fix the issue or issues. And I fixed the title for you.
  20. No, people were asked to remove letters from the version number. Which is the reason for all the bumps. It's a database thing to make it compatible with something that is being worked on. And the only way you get an email is if you're following that topic and a comment is posted. An update that the charters do not comment on will not email you.
  21. The only platforms that it would be an issue on are Xbox and PS3, that's because you have to modify the device and they think you are hacking games. And even with those as long as you don't go online with it, it won't matter. I've been using CDLC on PC with RS1 for years, and RS2014 since it came out,, no issues.
  22. Yeah, but you would have to show it as a prebend, that way you could dip to it with the whammy. Down up down or something like that would have to be authored as a complex bend. Maybe we will get support in the next version, but I doubt it. Authoring as a prebend would also show as the wrong fret for guys using a trem but would allow people without a whammy to at least simulate it.
  23. Sort of. I don't know that any of those issues are covered in that tutorial. It just says what files go where. Not how to update app id and or repack. Some Green Day song I had required repack. I had to do it twice, but it did work. In the comments, doesn't work doesn't work. I'm yet to have one I couldn't make work.
  24. How about quick and easy how to fix stuck after tune and song not showing up. Tired of talking people through app id change and or repack.
