  1. Short answer, no. Long answer, while we could see what records someone has looked at, I have no idea if you actually downloaded it or not, since they are not actually stored on Customs Forge.
  2. So, if the background color can be changed. Just make it a retina burning yellow or lime green. That way customs are easily distinguished instantly. Just a thought. Great idea BTW.
  3. I did it a few years ago with RS1. Everyone had a blast and in the morning my fingers hurt SO bad. I tried whatever song they wanted, with the warning that I would suck on many of them.
  4. On the same topic, if you want to play songs from the original Rocksmith in RS14 you will need to purchase the original Rocksmith along with the disc import tool for RS14. Just a heads up.
  5. Pommes309 is right on target. I would just go ahead and do the verify local files thing. That's how I got some back.
  6. http://consequenceofsound.net/2014/10/tools-new-album-is-progressing-rather-nicely/ and, just because it's at least mildly humorous. (Parody) Hitler Finds Out About The New Tool Albu…: http://youtu.be/P3bveYrlrlI About time.
  7. Um, your guess is as good as mine. Maybe the charter asked that it be pulled?
  8. You can sort songs by tuning. I tune the snot out of one of my guitars, not sure how string life is affected. D DROP C TO Eb . And no issues, those strings are nearly a year old. Put a little graphite powder in the nut the next time you restring. It's a dry lube used for locks, works great.
  9. Try verifying local files through Steam. And see what happens. Try taking the dx9 file back out and. see what happens. I've never had my game crash at launch, so I'm just guessing.
  10. I would lean towards something is wrong with that amp.
  11. Ummm. They all convert ac current to dc . Yours just does it externally. There are a lot of things that make noise come through as you increase gain and even the best amps suffer from this, but I suspect your issue is bigger than normal. I have a very good amp and it has a built in noise gate that kills the output if there is nothing coming in. But if I shut the noise gate off and crank up the drive it hums. I have a Roland Micro Cube as well and it's not horrible noise wise. Many things could be causing it, is there a TV on in the room? Nearby electronic noise will be amplified. Other electronic devices on that line, not just that plug but the entire section shared by that breaker. Bad ground for the house causing a float ? Or maybe it's a poorly designed amp. If it seems better on your friends try his amp at your house.
  12. Umm. Just skip the 3/4 scale and get him an inexpensive full scale. He will grow into it and will not have to relearn positioning on the neck. If weight is the concern then try to pickup a used headless guitar. They make an adapter that will allow you to use regular strings and if set up right they are great little guitars.
  13. Interestingly enough. The official DLC for Turn Up The Radio is shown as being tuned as Eb. I haven't tried it yet but the previous custom was in E standard but the pitch had to be adjusted. So, in order for them to do that they either adjusted the speed or pitch shifted the entire thing. If they did that, why didn't they just go with e standard?
  14. But you may need to do the local files verification thing through Steam so it knows you need them again.
  15. I'm not entirely sure I understand the question. Yes, you can have multiple CDLC just put them into the DLC folder, like you did the first one.
  16. My local station played it. Maybe you need to be baked to get it,, I almost fell asleep.
  17. Now you're old enough to be arrested for real. You lucky devil you.
  18. If you want to actually protect it, get a hard case. Usually the case the company sells will fit more snuggly, therefore protecting it better. There may be plenty of cases the are close enough though. SKB universal electric guitar case comes to mind.
  19. Paid for DLC through the Sony network were not transferable to pc. I know this since I owned nearly all of them. Then got the PC version. Actually I don't think I've turned the console version on since the pc version was released. No crashes, much faster loads and CDLC. I have no reason to go back to console. And my occasional crashes were I think temperature related on console as it would happen near the end of an event. But it doesn't matter why, it doesn't happen to me on PC.
  20. My only guess is that you are experiencing video lag. I don't know what your system specifications are but maybe turning off some off the fluff in the video settings will help.
  21. Pyt the dx9 file in again. If NONE of them work that is the problem. Try the other dx9 file. Some Antivirus do not like the dx9 file and remove it. In other words, go through the steps to get it working again.
  22. First guitar was a Peavey T-15, traded it in when I got a Westone Spectrum ( canary yellow black hardware Floyd Rose and left hand headstock) I miss the Westone ( sold it to bail a friend out of jail, should have let him sit there). Aria Pro II Magna M-35, hot pink and black splatter. Floyd, very light and just felt good. I miss that one. The tank a blue something or other that was huge heavy and $100 at a pawn shop. That guitar flat out growled, miss that one. I've had a few others but other than my first Hohner headless I don't miss them. Some of them were just great sounding and or felt right. Some ( the ones I don't miss) were just junk.
  23. There is a relatively new author thing available when creating CDLC. It embeds the authors name in the xml code. This was mainly done so we can tell is someone is reposting someone else's custom. I have signed some of mine in the lyrics others I have not.
  24. Shit, it was in tune. I thought my Hohner G3T was compact.
  25. Because many charters, myself included are converting the audio at above CD quality ( in MP3 terms CD quality is 194 b/PS and mine never drop below 320 b/PS until the final conversion which comes in around 256, still CD quality). Comparing strictly the file sizes to a DLC we are including more/better audio quality, at least some of us are. And it's possible that the volume is turned up a bit so that may be some of it as well. I would go ahead and make them at 320 across the board but then they would be 11 to 15 megs each.
