Hi man, I first of want to thank you, I use your tool alot, especially when I make CDLC from text tab or YT covers. And then I can share the .gp files with the original creators ^^ I'd like to give you some feedback tho: Can you add a function where we can convert 1 song at a time? (I thought I found this when I saw the ''Export Guitar Pro'' button in EoF, but that just opens the RocksmithToTab and then starts working on the whole collection) Cause atm the converter does my whole library and that takes a while, when all I want is the new song I just made :P (what I do now is: move all my cdlc out of the rocksmith map, run converter, then put them back, which seems unneccesarilly much work just to get 1 tab) EDIT: allright I'm now reading the changelog, and noticed you made a 'batch-process' function, I'll check it out, maybe this fullfills my needs ^^ EDIT 2: using v1.1 and I can't chose any directory I want, I wanted to see if I can put my CDLC project directory in there, (to just convert 1 .psarc, but that then gives the error, can't find the songs.psarc)

Allriiight, tried it with some other cover art and that worked The image file is in the folder with all the other files: the .xml .ogg and the image file is a .jpg of 925x925 and 274kb size, that should all be okay? I'm gonna try re-downloading the right cover art but from another source and try that EDIT: it works :D Thank you guys, you are all awesome <3

Thanks for fast reply, didn't work tho, disabled Avast and run as administrator, loaded the .xml and still the same error Did I already mention I do can pack other customs and it's only this one? so the problem might be in one of the arrangements I think, but I have no idea how to read/interpret the error message :/ I've already checked the EoF files on most likely errors, like wrong note statusses or wrong characters used in lyrics, but can't seem to find anything EDIT: I'll try re-download :d

Uhm so I was using the beta version bug issue version #7 first when I got this error when generating http://imgur.com/a/SQHYY Then I came here, realized there was a newer beta version #9 But It didn't fix it for me :( still the same error What do I do now?

So I was looking through the list and noticed some song I made for RS2012, I didn't have them on my pc but I still have them on my Mediafire account. Things I'm worried about: The tuning, toolkit put them all to E standard, not sure if this is correct, probably not The tones, these tones were good in RS2012 not sure if these convert properly The volume, I've changed (almost) nothing in the toolkit just 'import' and 'generate package' The DDC, in RS2012 these were handmade, maybe undo this At least it's less work then starting from nothing, if you need more files contact me.

I've been watching my downloads counter for my CDLC last months and I had the feeling I got way less downloads then in the past. Sure this could be because of the choice of songs, the popularity, or that my audience stopped playing customs. I was afraid CF was slowly dying :p But when I went to check the download counter in Mediafire, the download counter is sometimes 2x or 3x higher ... sometimes just a few 5 or 10 downloads off, but 3x off (from 30 to 90) seems waaaaay off. So is there anything changed in the way CF measures the download clicks? doesn't it count all the clicks leading to the download? Not that numbers are anything important to show quality or impress people, I just like to see what customs are doing good and how much audience there is for each genre/artist

Remove the underscore from the tone name. Ow okay, now I feel kinda stupid, but it is weird nonetheless. (I found the 'underscore prob' thread too, but...) In the lead with 'Time_Diss' and tone switch to 'Time_Clean' it works but without tone switch it doesn't work... so weird I've changed the 'Time_Diss' to 'TimeDiss' and it works now, just gotta fix the toneswitch again tho >.> Thanks ^^

So I'm working with the newest 2.7.1.0 toolkit build and RS Remastered. I have a custom tone working for lead guitar that has DDC and a toneswitch (this works fine) Then I have 1 custom tone NOT working for rythm guitar, it is supposed to be one of the tones I used for the lead (this shouldn't matter right?) The rythm has DDC working but the tone doesn't load when I start the arrangement. The tone also has a underscore in the name, but that shouldn't matter as for the lead it works. I tried repacking. I tried using a different tone but still doesn't load. I tried putting the tone as 'base' tone and as 'Tone A' and locking tone switching. But nothing helps. How do I fix this? (can it be the DDC?)

I'm having a camera issue in my new CDLC, the camera doesn't move to the right hand positions. My old CDLC don't have this problem. I've updated EoF and RSToolkit. I've read the first post, and my customs do have sections placed in EoF, do I have to do something else? What am I missing?

The paste thing: I'll have to test that out later, when I have some more time. :D The simplify chords: It's allright ^^ Ultrastar thing: the guitar.ogg might work tho, it looks like it starts at 2 seconds but it sure is longer then the original.mp3 where it starts immediatly. So that 3s delay problem should be fixed by using the .ogg file. Can I suggest something else tho ^^ I swap alot between Lead-Rythm-Bass-Vocal arrangments while creating. I think it would be nice to have tabs (links) to these arrangements, instead of the 'difficulty' tabs right now. (Supaeasy, easy, medium, amazing) which I don't use anymore since we have DDC.

Uhm yes, just so you know the labels (Ionian, Dorian,... are only placed correctly on the E Standard tab, I'm not sure if you can take these labels to the other tunings, when I made the spreadsheet I just copied it whole and moved the fretboards >.> ) But after all these labels don't matter at all, it just nice to see that they all fit into eachother. Yes, the spreadsheet has tabs at the bottom which you can swap to a different tuning. The linked version starts in the E standard tab I guess. And the spreadsheet I'm using in the tutorial is a way more recent version than I linked, I'll update that next! Indeed, correct I just take notes from that pattern. (Imagine your playing session mode, where it shows you a fretboard like this, and you have to play only the highlighted notes, to make your riff sound good with the computer generated band) all this tabbing is just assumptions, what an actual tabber does is play it on your guitar while tabbing it. But my hearing is no where to close to hearing what note is played. I find it much easier to make the custom and then test it in RS, and then try to find out the false sounding notes. 3) 4) 5) 6) these are all way to technical for me :P I haven't got any musical education, and what I know from guitar is all self taught. Well I tested the custom yesterday, (I'm having some volume problems, so I can't actually hear it all to well) The overall rythm chords sounded okay to me. But I must say the arpeggio part sounds pretty wrong :P so I'm gonna try something else for that. The lead octave chord riffs sound decent enough to me too, altough that's pretty hard to hear for me. (Like I said, I'm not good at hearing if a note is right or wrong, but eh yes this is practice and practice makes perfect)

Maybe this is already adressed here but: I feel like the guitar tone in RS RM is alot more quieter. I'm using the new toolkit and the standard volume setting that are filled in there, and I'm using my usual tones to pack them, but at the old volume levels (that I'm used too) they don't sound the same as they used too. I have to put it like 2-3dB louder. Anyone experiencing the same or is there something messed up with my volumes?

Bookmarks: Yeah, you already mentioned this feature ^^ I understand it, but I kinda just like to go sweep through the whole song once in a while, it kinda gives a satisfying feeling, seeing all the notes fly by, feeling of completeness and structure and control. So yeah :p Fret catalog: Same as above, I don't mind going through the song to find the right riff ^^ Note>simplify chord: It think it will be about just as much clicking so it's ok Syncing after paste: mmmh allright, so what I do to paste is Ctrl+C Ctrl+V, this Ctrl+V is that the old or the new paste? Cause wouldn't it make sense to make the shortcut (Ctrl+V) the grid snap (the most logical imo) one? (Just to make clear to everyone) The reason I have to 're-snap' the notes: I have adjusted the BPM every 2 measures, so the BPM varies +-2 BPM in the whole song. So when I copy a riff in 120 BPM and paste it in 118 BPM, it is out of sync. The lyric re-syncing: Yeah, I've thought of importing the .ogg file in Ultrastar, that should have the 3 seconds of leading silence in it. But I just re-tested it, somehow the leading silence is ignored or removed of skipped in Ultrastar, (the sound already starts at second 1 or 2) So I can't find a fix for this :(

Here is a screenshot of the end result, around 15 cuts and resyncs needed to make it sound good again. As you cant just stretch out audio tracks, it makes it sound weird. So I gotta cut them up, at the point where it 'shifts', this is clearly hearable, from where it is perfect sync to where it is somewhat 0,001s delayed. I cut it up and then resync all 3 parts again. But if I cut it wrong, a bit to early or to late, then you can hear a very short missounding part. Hi guys, not sure if I'm in the right forum, move me if I'm not. I've got this problem going on for a couple of months now, and now finally it's starting to annoy me so hard, I asking for help. The problem I have is, when I'm making Rocksmith 2014 Playthroughs, I record the same song 3 times, (every arrangement) and then I sync up those 3 to have the splitscreen video Like this: This worked for like years, and now lately something is fucking up. I'm not sure it's Rocksmith or Vegas Pro or my computer or my graphics card or ... Here is the actual problem with screenshots: http://imgur.com/gallery/AudWH 1) Syncing with video frames This is to get the best sync possible for the video frames, the audio can get synced up better later on 2) Syncing with video frames Here you see the smallest step I can drag the middle video track, it goes per frame, the audio is still locked to the video track 3) Syncing the audio Here I ungrouped the audio and video, (they turn red then) I zoom way in and then sync up the audio waves with a ruler 4) Song goes out of sync This screenshot is a little bit further into the song, and check out the third bass track, the beat is out of sync for some reason So somehow the third track got 0,001s out of sync, problem with graphics card? audio card? Fraps? It's very annoying, cause those little differences in soundwaves create reverb effects and change alot in sound and volume, believe me Anyone knows what is happening and how I can fix it?
