  1. Please remember these ads do support CF. You can use ADP just to block the bottom ad and keep the remaining ones to still support us. Much appreciated. I really don't mind the ad's at all, it's just the bottom ad that gets in the way when trying to get to the record page in ignition search. It's pretty hard to hit the (go to record page) button with the ad right on top of it. even with ADP there is still the X close block there but ad banner is gone. I always go to the Charters record page to see what the Charter has to say about there CDLC and read the feedback they get if any. I don't think most members of CustomsForge bother to go to the record page. (I could be wrong) - Later, avdocatwork
  2. Hi Guys, I have started using Ad Blocker Plus to get rid of the ads at customsforge that are getting in the way. Link for Google Chrome version: https://adblockplus.org/ It works for me. I have started on some new customs after nearly a year. More Cars, Sex Pistols, Motörhead, Black Sabbath and Willie Nelson so I can work on perfecting a decent Acoustic Guitar Tone, Hopefully! Later, Terry
  3. Hey Guy's does this Classic Rock Coalition site still exist? Sorry I have been gone for so long! After getting a full time job and working too much overtime also, and a monster computer crash that I finally fixed, and am now able to play rocksmith again, and test run my customs, I have finally posted some CDLC's to CustomsForge again. A Tribute to the late, Ric Ocasek, front-man of new wave pioneers, The Cars. I had started on them early this year and kind of fell off the grid until now. Will try to keep in contact and chart and play guitar more, the things I like the most! The Cars - three pack The Cars - Dangerous Type - (Remastered) - 1979 - V2 The Cars - Magic - (Remastered) - 1984 - V2 The Cars - Tonight She Comes - (Remastered) - 1985 - V2
  4. Hi Guys, I am on the hunt for tickets for the ZZ Top 50th anniversary tour here in Dallas, TX 5/17/2019. With Cheap Trick & Bad Company. I am still working on The Cars 6-pack, about finished with The Cars - Its All I Can Do (Remastered) the 5th of the 6-pack, I have got my main PC that I play-through my customs on back up but have to load all my programs again. I hope all is going well with everybody, I will keep in touch. Later, Terry

  9. Hi Guys, I ran across a YouTube video about a bunch of 60's bands, that brought back memories from way back for me. I was very young in the 60's but still can remember some of these songs playing on the radio for sure. Just wanted to pass it along to all you guys at The Classic Rock Coalition, It's called gone groups of the 60's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2X12pkElVI Take it easy and check out these Groovy Tunes, Later, Terry
  10. Hi Guys, crude has asked to join The Classic Rock Coalition, looks like he is a six-string Guitarist. Don't know where he is located in this world. He hasn't charted any Customs yet, it looks like, but I'm sure he is willing to help out here at The CRC. Just to let you know crude a little about the history of The CRC we are a group of Magna Charters that have got together to share Charting information and test run each others new customs and suggest corrections before posting them to CustomsForge. Many of The Classic Rock Coalition Members started charting Customs way back in The Smithy Anvil Days, what was it 2012 to 2014 I can't remember. Then CustomsForge started up and we all got together and started The Classic Rock Coalition. And now here we are still charting away. So everybody welcome crued to The Classic Rock Coalition, looks like we have 20 followers to this area now. Just to let everybody know this is an open forum now anybody can see and post here. Later, avdocatwork

  15. Hi Guys, Added a cool song to my Classic Rock 6-pack. Walter Egan - Magnet and Steel. Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, members of Fleetwood Mac, sang background vocals on this tune. The Bass line is pretty easy I got a 96 after a few tries and the lead solo is really easy also. Just need to simplify some chords in the Rhythm, Lead, and Bonus Lead paths and it will be done. Here is what I got so far. I think it's going to be a good one for sure. Also The McCoys - Hang On Sloopy is finished. I think it turned out pretty good also. Later Terry

  19. Hi Guys, I am shocked at hearing the news of the loss of LaceyB, I received the news today of her passing. I had kept in contact with her over the years by PM and emails as I know a lot of you guys have done also, and only recently found out she had been having health issues. Her generous time spent helping many of us at CustomsForge and The Classic Rock Coalition with our charting of Customs, will be remembered always. And all her many CDLCs that she spent so much time on and generously sharing them with all of us at Smithy's Anvil, CustomsForge and The Classic Rock Coalition is truly appreciated by us all and will be her legacy to us all also. There is a CustomForge page in memory of LaceyB at: http://customsforge.com/index.php/topic/46027-laceyb-has-gone/ Heart felt condolences to LaceyB's family and friends. She will be missed by all of us for sure. Later avdocatwork aka: Terry
