  1. +1 to @@firekorn's comments. I will always make every effort to make sure what I turn out is as good as I can make it. I'm not (probably) going to have a hissy fit if someone turns round and says something is wrong. If they do, I'll always check it out and make corrections as necessary. I am sure that I'm not always right first time. Constructive comments lead to learning and a better future output.

  3. Queen - Innuendo

My son is 9 years old and loves Queen. The one song that he misses with regular DLC + CDLC is Innuendo (thanks to everyone that made the other CDLC, he loves them).

We saw that it used to be CDLC but couldn't find what happened to it or a download for that.

Here is his persuasive text to request "Make CDLC for Innuendo":

In my opinion someone should make a cdlc for Innuendo. Evidence will prove some strong reasons.

Firstly, people are complaining because the old cdlc of Innuendo got deleted because of the lack of users. For example, Bijou also got deleted because of the lack of users but that one came back.

Secondly, this song will pick up many technique for beginners, also letting people play for 6 minutes so this would be pretty good for cdlc. For example, if you don't play challenging and long songs you won't be as good.

Finally, this song is on E standard, the most common and famous tuning so most people would play it. For example, I use E standard 95% of my time (or more)!

In conclusion someone should make a cdlc of Innuendo. Evidence proved these simple and strong reasons.

  4.

These by U2 would be great:

    Into the Heart

    The Electric Co.

    Walk On

    The Three Sunrises

    Stay Faraway So Close

    Wild Honey

    Kite

    Bass Trap

    Luminous Times

I could be very tempted by several of those.

I'm a verse in to Stay (Faraway, So Close!). It should be finished tomorrow morning all being well.

  5. Could any of you musical genius's do a CDLC Bass for

The Waterboys - Whole of the Moon

    Thanks in advance

Ok, I'm getting soft in my old age. I'll add this to my list.

  6. L.A. Refugee by Panic! At The Disco. Please! I'm sure it's simple and might even make it my own first Customs project; I'd just really love to have it in my CDLC library over play along on YT.

Also "I'm Just a Girl" by No Doubt if I can ask a two-fer.

I'll have a go at both of these for you

  7. Bass Charts for any of these by U2 would be great:

    Walk On

    The Three Sunrises

    Stay Faraway So Close

    Wild Honey

    Kite

    Bass Trap

    Luminous Times

Unless anyone has any objections, I'll pick up The Electric Co and The Three Sunrises.

  9. Please Please please, will one of you guys chart this song for me the band name and song name are' .. Blood dance - walk the night.. I would be very appreciative for this song in my library bass and lead... thank you very much in advance!!

Ok, that sounded enough like Alice by The Sisters of Mercy to get my attention.

How about this: http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/walk-the-night-r45339 (bass only, natch)

Let me know what you think.

  10. I'm thinking of charting an epic track which has three and a half minutes of guitar-based noodly fretboard wankery at the beginning. What's the consensus here - chop it off, or leave it in? I would of course put the guitar bit in its own section so it can be skipped in RR, but I'm also happy to fade the track in after the majority of the tedious twiddling has been done so that the real musicians among us ( :-) ) don't have to sit twiddling thumbs until our part starts. Over to you!

  11. @@JamesPrestonUK ,  Does the Bass on this tickle you enough to chart?  :D

    The Superman Lovers - Starlight

     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h61QG4s0I3U

I've considered this one before - the only snag is that it uses a low C, so either it's "set E string to spaghetti mode", or I chart it an octave higher. I'll try the second option and we'll see how it goes ok? (I realise this would be fine for five stringers, but not everyone is fortunate to have one)
