just as title says. using CFSM to tweak volumes or even changing song info, mess up the chart. seems something goes wrong with the "scratches" between chords. that's an old bug in the years had been patched, but lately happens often. and i'm running latest version. here's a screenshot and 2 new cdlc (different charters) with this issue: https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/74024 https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/74062 am i missing something? can't figure out what could be the problem. charters? cfsm? me? thanks.

all ODLC for RS1 will works for RS2014. you cannot find "... called love" from darkness on steam, cause it's not sold alone. you must buy some sort of pack (Rocksmith Singles Song Pack, maybe?...) with 3 songs. if you wait for the sales, will comes cheaper. Imho, a good pack, the other 2 songs are fun to play and not too hard for beginners.

Long story short, i've fixed all my library of CDLC with the toolkit and CFSM. Volumes, tones, mastery bug, ecc. a hella work,but now i'm stuck with official DLC. to tell the truth, some of them are repairable with the toolkit, but most of them no. there's a way to tweak them? the disc songs of RS 2014? the imported tunes from RS1? even with the "protect official DLC" disabled in CFSM, the options to change settings are greyed... to make a sample: ANGELA from Jarvis Cocker, it cames with the first Rocksmith, i want to raise the song volume and change the tone, too weak for my taste. but even if i want to import it in the toolkit, i have to open the RS1 compatibility.psarc, which contains something like 50 tunes, and i'm worried about making a mess...

same here. just deleted download cache like adviced from steam, and now it's downloading something that will take half an hour. it says it's an update, but it's fishy, too much time. but i can't be sure, thanks to my crappy connession. maybe re-installing the entire game? hope this issue will not freak up all the CDLC again, i was just fixing them all with the latest CFSM version...

Try to change the APP ID with CFSM. same happened to me last week. seems the charter used some Elvis song instead of Smashing Pumpkins "cherub Rock" as default.

Many thanks Cozy, i've just buyed a new pc, and want to fix my library, and i was sure CFSM has more to offer. TBH i would never have dreamed so many handy features,sweet! anyway, is it possible to switch custom song tones one with another? choosing from a list as you do for amps, or pedals? for now i'm changing all the parameters one by one, to get a specific tone that i like, who belongs to an existing CDLC. this way it's a damn long work...

Thanks for the update guys. could someone point me to a tutorial? or something similar? i'm using it only for fixing the 100% mastery bug, but feels like a waste. wondering: where is the cdlc back up folder? when something go wrong, it eats up my song...i'm still searching some of them... can i change the volume of the songs? the tones? why Win10 doesn't see me as the administrator for this app? yeah something like that, that would really be helpful.

sure there's room for more improvements... wonder if it's possible to rank some suggestions here on CF and then post them on ubi/RS official page. something like the 3 suggestions most voted by CF users... or maybe it's already too late? 4 october is round the corner if Ubi plan a retail version to print... well,for me, would be some kind of improvement on guitar and bass tones. not hoping in miracles, just what they've already done between RS1 and RS2014.

looking again for help... if it's the wrong place, please redirect me! ok, i'm trying hard these days to put togheter some decent cdlc, and all the process goes smooth. i'm figuring out how to select notes/chords, how to edit them, etc... and hope to improve my skills. but my main problem is with EOF: when i finish a custom i cannot close EOF, gotta restart my pc. and when i re-open gotta set preferences again... and when i try to load an old project it says: "OGG sampling rate is not 44.1 khz. song my not play back at the correct speed in FOF". and it load the song but NOT the chart i've worked on. so got to restart from scratch...annoying...

T H A N K S can't believe i've just played my own first custom...out of sync, and without a tone...but man, i got a stiff! just need some help from you or some kind users: 1)i know i got too look deep in EOF tutorials, but for now: my song it's in sync at the beginning but somewhere on the road goes off. how i'm supposed to move forward aaaaall the notes from a certain point? hope it's clear, no need to move only one note but all from half till the end. and it's only me or the EDF crash and cannot be closed once the work is done? 2) where did i find the tones RS use? i've checked in steam/steamapps/RS2014 ecc. but no clue. and seems that the default one put in the toolkit doesn't work, cause mine CDLC gave me RS tone crash...

don't worry, almost everyone got your feelings when played the first times RS2014. cause you got expectations of what have to be improved...and got disappointed. but trust me, it's just a matter of time. in a couple of weeks you'll get the habit, because it's true that something is worst, but a lot of things it's better. - it's been a year that i play RS2014 and sometimes i make a dive in the past and start RS1 to play a CDLC not available on the new version.........ehm......well....... you'll find by yourself! - so,you're right, there's a bunch of stuff that could have been better, but many improvement are already there.

please specify the genre or at least the tuning you prefer... without any clue bout that, i would say band like arctic monkeys, white stripes/jack white, kings of leon, nirvana or U2. if you look for some easy rock in E std...

guys thanks for the answers. i respect the reasons of everyone, but i share the opinion of Tom Sawyer. to be clear i do not have a problem to manage my library, and if i cannot find the charter i was looking for...well...lucky me there's many others great contributor. the other day i was playing charlotte sometimes from the cure and while the song was fading (and the CDLC was good and that always gimme a warm feeling) i've read....Jpsy. weel done jpsy, i thought, let's give him a thanks and keep an eye on his works. i've found that a great idea, handy for users and deserved for charters. cannot understand the "integrity of lyrics" someone's talking about... there should be 2/3 seconds before the beginning of the chart: metallica sad but true by xxxxxxx simplier than that! and i was not suggesting to update all the old CDLC. i'm not that arrogant. just throwing a stone in the water to see what other thinks and understand if that's a possibility. i repeat, not only for me, but above all, for the charter to have proper credit on their work.

got a lot of song on my RS2014, same on RS1; official DLC, custom taken here and there from independent charter outside CF, songs from old smithy, ......yes, my library it's a mess! i like a lot of stuff, and i'm always searching for something new or still unknown to me. and sometimes i find some really HQ custom, that make me struggling for more...but i don't know who belongs... in most of the cases i find the charter here on the database and faster than light download everything he/she's got... but sometimes cannot find a clue bout who or when the CDLC was made... so, (sorry if it takes so long), i thought it would be handy if the charters signs their own custom. at the beginning or the end of the song a text with credits. sounds stupid?
