  1. This worked for me. I caught it before the update installed though. Super easy fix.
  2. I see White Wedding in the store page from within Rocksmith. Maybe not the song pack, but if that's the song you really want, its 1.79 us.
  3. Do a SAVE AS and save to your CLDC folder.
  4. Maybe a reinstall? Driver update? I have no idea.....sorry I hate it when someone says "works for me" but I don't see any reason it won't run. I couldn't run on a single monitor again so I feel your pain.
  5. I have had five monitors with out RS crashing. I am currently back to two, but I have never had the problem you have. Maybe you are using motherboard video? I have a GTX 1070 so maybe thats why.
  6. I play through an external amp so I can hear myself without RS hiding bad playing. I have been playing for about two years and can hit over 90 percent on bass for Sweet Home Chicago, which to me is a pretty tough song. I have noticed that when I take a few days off or a week my scores actually improve, so I guess my brain is slowly wiring in the lessons. I cant afford or have time for lessons right now but have a lot of pride in what I have been able to do with RS!
  7. Ok so I will add you to the whitelist. You may consider changing the wording as it leads us to assume no ad revenue is generated. Don't mind helping any way I can. Later that day...... Whelp there are the ads! had no idea! You are now unblocked!
  8. "We're 100% funded by donations. Please keep us running by clicking the link below to donate." How is adblock affecting CF? I would happily whitelist but I don't think it matters at the moment.
  9. I think he is saying he wants the unofficial cDLC back but since the DlC is now official there is no link. If it is just this one, consider the few dollars to purchase the new one.
  10. I plug my RS cable into a pedal and use regular guitar cable to plug and unplug. I am a little paranoid about breaking my RS cable!
  11. I really need to have this done but I cant bear to part with my guitar. How long does a setup take? If i could take it home the same day that would be awesome.
  12. Wow you guys are way more patient than me! looking forward to getting back to the purpose of this thread though.
  13. One other benefit of plugging into an amp is you never touch the RS cable. When your guitar cable breaks (which it will) you can replace it with a standard cable because you never unplug the RS cable from the amp.
  14. How do you... I mean what is....WTF! You must love tuning that. Thanks for the chuckle!
  15. I have had ringing in my right ear for decades and it hasn't gotten worse since playing guitar. I do not play it at full volume however and I still enjoy it. I like most types of music and Metal is still great at lover volumes, you just have to adjust. You will learn to live with the ringing in the ears, but do not make it worse. I always use hearing protection when using power tools and even when going to a concert. I still feel the loud music so I don't mind a bit. Hang in there and you will be glad you did. Just lower the volume!
  16. You will get a better response by not leaving a ... and making us click to see what you are asking. As for the profile, it would be a neat idea for some one to share theirs!
  17. I was just sayin you need to use the pinky no matter which you play. I play both base and electric and found that I play much better if I finger the way God intended! Pay attention to the fret locator that show where the fingers go. I ignored them at first and found playing much harder.
  18. Yep. Pinky. I learned to hit those two notes with my pinky but it took a long time because I too didn't have a strong pinky. I have found songs play much easier since I gave in and use all my fingers. I keeps you anchored in the correct fingering positions so you can play a little more relaxed. I practice that riff everyday for a warm up and I can see and hear the difference in my playing. Also I changed the setup on the bass to lower the strings so my little finger doesn't have to press so hard.
  19. In riff repeater select the passages you want to adjust and slide the sliders on the left. you can turn of the auto level if you want to practice at a set level.
  20. It's pretty boring to do this everytime you are playing a new song I am not a fan of DD and I also was always loading up and editing the song to remove it, but found simply maxing out the song and turning off leveling had the same effect and was much less effort. RS remembers your setting so to me this method is much easier than loading up a second program and trying to remove and repack the CDLC. Also as you have found some songs you will have issues trying to remove it.
  21. No just delete the old CLDC versions "example 1.0" leaving new version example 2.0 in CLDC folder and re launch RS. In other words if you have "Happy Birthday 1.0_P.PSARC" and "Happy Birthday 2.0_P.PSARC" then remove the first version and restart rocksmith. If that still does not work and other CDLC is OK you may need to repack the latest version with the Cherub Rock song ID.
  22. Be sure you remove the old ones. The internal names cannot be the same or you will have this problem. The filenames may be different but if they are packed with the same name then this will happen.
  23. Remove all but one DLC. You may have a conflict in the DLC. It happens sometimes with what you describe. Sometimes if the dlc have the same name it crashes. Or try some different DLC.
