Many thanks @@firekorn, the lead section is a lot cleaner looking. Working on this atm, will prob take a few days as I'm meant to be studying and have an assessment due. Have ran this through Go PlayAlong and imported the lead into EoF, looks good so far :)

I have redone this into V2. Reworked Lead path considerably. Slightly altered Bass path. Reworked Rhythm path. Redone tones on all paths. Adjusted timings accordingly. Regarding the lead path, I have added a lot into it, maybe too much? Lead path also had a "whammy bar" used in it, I have rewrote this as a series of bends, at these times: 16 secs 14th Fret B string 1 min 51 secs 14th Fret B string 2 min 59 secs 8th Fret G string 3 min 01 secs 6th Fret G string 3 min 21 secs 14th Fret B string 3 min 21 secs 13th Fret G string 3 min 21 secs 13th Fret e string (1st) I would be grateful for any feedback, and will act on any advice given, especially regarding the lead path, be it a tweak, removing the "whammy" bends or even a complete removal until completely rewritten :) V2 Link here

@@justgimmethefunk Going through the U2 song in my head and I think that's a great starting point, also very useful as I deleted the tones from my game to check if it was working on dlc /muppet :blush: @@firekorn The emptiness was what I was afraid of, didn't know whether to bother with that track or not. Have taken this onboard and spent about 9 hrs yesterday and 2 hrs today transcribing and re authoring the guitar pro file. Will probably spend the rest of today making the tones then onto EoF. Oh, just as an after thought, the beat is 12/8 and coincidentally the only song I ever learnt to play on drums (some 27 years ago), really loved that beat :)

Thanks guys, I'll remap it again and add in some to the lead. I had thought of doing that, but GM also sings it, so the lead is somewhat sparse. Regarding the tones, I was more worried about the lead / rhythm as GM turned away from the traditional tones, even had his sound tech redesign his marshal and add an extra filter plus pre-amp stage to it. Did you sign up? I had a look but they had none of the tabs I was interested in. I signed up for Tab Pro (via ultimate guitar), they gave 3 days free trial. I cancelled after 3 minutes. Lots of tabs, but I couldn't see any that were not freely available elsewhere, they even had the same wrong tabs that are out in the wild... ripoff imo. I did get a freebie app from amazon, songsterr, same stuff that available for free but it is displayed and plays well.

I agree with a lot of people that bad customs be removed. The removal being done by the admins, after they try to get the creator to fix it. If the creator doesn't at least respond to them within a week then delete it. If they are working on it, have some sort of advisory notice on the song download page. However, it's all well and good for people to say they are willing to give constructive criticism and advice, but I've been trying to get feedback on a song I have created, with only 1 responder so far on the bass line (thanks @justgimmethefunk ). I have 2 others I will be working on over the weekend and may get around to trying the mob rules again. But it is hard to motivate yourself if you are not getting feedback. Furthermore, I believe that new or repeated bad cdlc creators should not be allowed to upload until they are deemed as good creators. With newbs / bads being tested and approved and uploaded by an admin team, after the songs have been tested on all paths (lead/rhythm/bass) and are generally good.

Pantera, although I don't mind that type and even like a few of that style, I was never a fan of them. Can't see much if any improvement this week.

Thanks @justgimmethefunk Have corrected the scroll speed issue, seems I read the tutorial backwards :) should be good now. When you say about raising the bass sound, do you mean isolating the bass part of the MP3 or the bass part that we play? I assume that you mean the part we play, by upping the volume on the tone? If so, I haven't created a custom tone for bass or lead, mainly because I'm not sure I have it working correctly on the rhythm path. Updated file link with (hopefully) better scroll speed. Thanks.

Hey all, after the nightmare of previous attempt (still working on it), I thought I would try different songs to gain more experience. This song is "Over the hills and far away" by Gary Moore, a real favorite of mine, by one of my personal gods. PC version, E Standard, Smashing Pumpkins Cherub Rock, with: BASS Can play myself, really like this seems to play good Rhythm Cannot do it justice, seems to play well. Lmfao, I've spent about 15 hours trying to get this sorted. Kudos to you guys and gals that get us good versions to play. Really can't believe how much effort goes into it. Anyhoo... I've got the lead side of things sorted in eof, at least mostly, all timing is superbly accurate (i believe) still need to get vibratos and some slides in. Mainly happy with it. However (and its a biggie) I've put the bass line on and it was atrociously out of time, well I've managed to feck it up good :) Is there anyway to delete the bass arrangement without messing the lead side up? I've put about 3 hrs into lead side and not saved because of silly questions and slide changing it wants to do. I'll be leaving the computer on waiting for a reply lmao :D
