  1. Here are the steps I follow : - [File][New] - Select the "ogg" file - Set the "New Song Information" fields - Select the "Use Existing Folder" - The file browser is displayed and located by default to "My PC" It could be better to set up the file browser with the directory which contains the "ogg" file.
  2. It is when I create a new project, I always select my own created folder to locate the project files. For the missing notes I will try again. Thanks
  3. Hi raynebc, I have a little new request : - Is it possible to keep the folder context of the "ogg" file (instead of the root) when we choose a specific folder to save the EOF project ? Yesterday I created a new song, and after importing the "GP3" file for the lead part, some notes were lacking on the track : - The GP3 file I used : Marillion - Kayleigh - The missing notes were always the first one of a few measures (7 on the "e" string of measure 91, 8 on the "e" string of measure 92) - There were only a few missing notes and I have added them manually. Thank you
  4. @@redrocker, please read my answer for the previous post. It was the same question ... See this link which explains how to add DD in a CDLC : Add DD in an existing package
  5. I always add an empty measure at the beginning of the guitar pro file (with TuxGuitar) before importing it in EOF. So, I don't need to add a leading silence in EOF (5 sec of silence only added on the soundtrack) nor to reset the offset to zero ...
  6. Yes you can use the DDC tab of the Toolkit to add DD in your downloaded songs. Simply drag and drop all psarc files in this tab and click generate... DD may not work properly if the author of the song did not respect the prerequisites...
  7. Can you share the XML files generated by EOF for each track ?
  8. Hi, These two songs have several sections inside. DDC is able to correct some inconsistencies in the XML files. Even if you don't want to use DD, try to generate DD with DDC on these psarc files (with a length phrase parameter greater or equal to 4). RR may work after ...
  9. Added a few songs in the first post ...
  10. If you had correctly sync all vertical bars (the rhythm is in sync with the soundtrack) and you didn't modify the notes and chords technics, you can : - [Edit][selection][select All] - Remove all notes with the [Delete] Key - Import the track from you GuitarPro file => all notes are now exactly adjusted with your tempo This is the same method when you sync one track and then, you import the other ones without any more efforts in the sync process. If a few notes are at the wrong place, you can modify the Guitar Pro file or the note position in EOF. When I do this (rare situations), I define first a grid-snap in EOF (1/16 or 1/32 or 1/64 of a beat) to avoid the random notes positions. As firekorn said in the previous post, RS2014 is permissive about the timing position for notes and chords, but many users encounter some issues in the Riff Repeater when the sync process is not well done. If you want to use DDC and have good results with it, you have to define carefully : - The time signature, - The rhythm sync with the soundtrack (measures and beats identified by vertical bars in EOF) - The notes and chords sync with the rhythm - The sections of the song
  11. Open the song in EOF and use the action [beats][All Events] in the main menu. Then you can select the events and use the "Delete" button.
  12. When creating a song, the sync process is the most important step to obtain a good result. The DDC tool is often used to add DD in the songs and it works well only for songs which have notes and chords correctly synchronized with the rhythm bars. Each contributor needs to make a few CDLCs before to learn all the subtleties of the tools and the RS2014 rules. It is so normal that all customs are not of the same quality  If you sort the songs list by the most downloaded, you will find a good sample of experienced contributors ...
  13. In your XML files there are phrases which contain lyrics with special characters. The error message said that there is a problem at (62 th line, 94 th column) and in fact, the entity "&apos" lacks its ";" at the end (should be "'") All these lyrics are useless in phrases for RS2014. You can remove them in EOF and keep only each phrase associated with a section (intro, chorus, verse, ..., outro)
  14. First check that each arrangement has a valid XML file (generated by EOF or DDC). If it is the case, please share your XML files ...
  15. Hi all guys ! I have no time to try the new CDLCs published on this forum ! If you find CDCLs which respect this few criteria, please list them on this topic : - fun to play (whatever the kind of music) - notes well synchronized with the rhythm - good tones - lead, rhythm and bass arrangements A kind of the "approved" label Thank you for your advices ... My findings (non-exhaustive) : - 4 Non Blondes - What's Up (Unsequoia) - Akira Yamaoka - Promise (Rockfirstlast) - Amorphis - From The Heaven Of My Heart (Jansku79) - Arctic Monkeys - Do I Wanna Know (ZZleeZZ) - Black Sabbath - God Is Dead (Dreddfoxx) - Ensiferum - Burning Leaves (Jansku79) - Megadeth - Addicted To Chaos (Motive) - Metallica - Enter Sandman (Nino83) - Rage Against The Machine - Killing The Name Of (BHMath)
  16. I tried to add DD on your "psarc" file and RR works correctly. In the DDC log file, there are many handshapes adjustments and I think your issue is caused by the fact that your notes and chords are not correctly synchronized with the rhythm bars (you moved the notes instead of the vertical bars during the sync process in EOF). If you want to have functional RR without DD inside (works only with DDC v2.5) : - Apply DD with DDC tab of the Toolkit on each XML file - Open each XML file with a text editor and remove the "transcriptionTrack" tag and all of its content - Use DDC tab again on this new XML file with the "ddc_dd_remover" ramp-up model - Repack your song with this new XML files For your next customs, try to respect the rules in my signature, so you will able to do CDLCs faster and without using DDC ;)
  17. Try to apply DDC on your "psarc" file, to check if the RR works with it. DDC is able to correct some inconsistencies in the XML files ... Then you can use DDC again to remove DD [emoji6]
  18. The bars don't show up in the game if there are more than 100 phrases in the song (RS2014 limit). If the phrases are generated by DDC, try to level-up the phrase length parameter (2 -> 4).
  19. Hi, Did you use the EOF tool to generate the XML files ?
  20. Update v2.5 (05/07/2014) - New process to merge all levels of existing Dynamic Difficulty if the "transcriptionTrack" tag is empty. - Notes and chords sustain are now considered if they overlap two or more measures (prevent the creation of empty phrases which break the handshapes length). - Fixed bug : DDC error when the number of chordNodes is lower than the number of frets defined in the chordTemplate
  21. Try to generate DD (on the XML files of each arrangement) with the generate log option. Then check the log file if there are warnings or errors inside ... This can help to identify the issue
  22. What is the time signature of this song ? The chords seem to be not in sync with the rhythm vertical bars. Try to resnap the notes and chords in EOF. When you apply DDC on the XML files you can select to generate a log file which contains a lot of useful information...
  23. DDC Tutorial update for DDC v2.4 : DDC tutorial Do not hesitate to ask for updates in the DDC tutorial (missing information or too obscure explanations ;))
