Hi,

Came across a song that has 4 different BPMs.

Is it possible to "associate" a section to a certain BPM in EoF? -Allowing for multiple BMPs in one song?

i am able to do so in guitar pro but it doesn't replicate in EoF and if I try to change manually it changes the whole song's bmp, not just the phrase I want

Just trying to figure out a way to edit less notes possible but it looks pretty bad...May have to redo the tabs myself instead of trying to make the circle fit in the square...

There are no pc file anywhere I converted and exported/imported in separate folders. I'm keeping my library in both format separately.

So many have no art work and when you click on them they disappear. Nothing happens, the selection goes to the nest one and so on and so forth.

Thus far, I got tired of it, even those with artwork and mp3 playing, the song crashes right after tuning.

How can I send you a file?

Ok, here's another problem I've encountered. I hope there's a fix for it.

I transferred my library over to the mac. Now 60% of the songs doesn't show album artwork and when I click on it, it disappear!

All my stats are listed, ie how many times I played the song, my score etc...

Also some other songs have the album cover and they just crash.

Any solutions out there? What I did is run my files through the toolkit to convert the psarc to m_psarc and this is the result I have...

Never mind guys, I thought it would be faster to re-download via the CDLC search engine but because there are so many songs reported as multiplatform when they really are not, it turns out it was faster to convert my 900 somewhat songs representing 6 gigs via the toolkit than re-downloading the songs. I wish when people create a CDLC they would do it fully...It's not that much harder to create the tracks for bass & rythym, adding lyrics and making it available on all platforms!

I'm switching back and forth between playing on a mac and a pc. 
I am trying to duplicate my files on both systems and I am having issues.

On the cdlc search engine, there are lots of song formatted for mac.

When I click on those to download, many now don't offer a selection of platform. They only offer psarc files.

In the past I had to download m_psarc files to work on Mac. Since most songs are now listed on multi platforms but only available to download on psarc does that mean I no longer need the m_psarc files? or does it mean the users who upload songs claiming multi platform but in reality it's just pc?

Here's an example: search AC/DC highway to hell from Gizmo. clearly states all platforms

when you click to download, it takes you to the medifire site to exchange the file but the only file availabale to download is a psarc file, there's no option for a m_psarc file...

finalized my cdlc only to have the toolkit telling me Wwise didn't work properly.

I'm back at it after a 2 years hiatus so I downloaded all the new software updates.

Now that I have gone through making my cdlc, i read that the newest version of Wwise may be the problem. So, which version should I use and where can I find it?

The toolkit did save my work as a .dlc extension. Do I have to start again from scratch or is there a way to save some of the work I did?

I have been off for almost 2 years. i am downloading all the programs to make my own CDLCs as all programs have been updated since I last work with them all...

Having said that, there is a new program available (CFSM) that wasn't in existence before (or has it replaced the toolkit?)

Is this program necessary to create CDLCs?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have read the FAQs and couldn't find anything on the usage of CFSM.

Hi There,

I'm on PC platform and having an issue with one song in particular. it worked fine until the remastered version came out.

The song is Carol of the Bells by the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

The song starts and plays fine but the fretboard is stuck on fret 17-21 and doesn't move so when the notes are up the neck, they dissappear! It's the only song I have that does that and it didn't do in the past. I've re-downloaded the DLL file in case, the CDLC and nothing changes.

Anyone knows how to fix that?

I haven't played since early January so when I launch Steam, Rocksmith won't start. I played the remastered version before so I\m not sure what changed. I re-downloaded the .dll file but it didn't work.

It just hangs without any error message. Any idea of what to do? I saw the post on USB key fixing it but it didn't work for me.

Any thoughts?

I haven't played since mid-January, when I launched steam to start Rocksmith remastered, it just hangs and rocksmith never launches. I was playing the remastered version before without any problems.

I re-downloaded the .dll patch but that didn't work. I don't even get an error message, it just hangs.

Need some help in figuring out some tabs. There are a couple of songs I like that do not have tabs posted. On U-G, 911 and Songsterr the songs shows tabs but people tabbed the intro and solo but that's it. The rest are just chords...Obviously it's not as easy as importing into guitar pro to tab it properly, or is it?

For example, the intro is fully tabbed then they list the chords all the way to the solo, the solo is tabbed and then there some sort of pattern where the chords repeat themselves to the outro...

How do I go about importing that into guitar pro to work with EOF?

Any help would be appreciated.

There are many examples listed out there, I really have no prefrence, I just want to learn how to do it.

One example that comes to mind is Renegade by X-Ambassadors.

Using Guitar Pro 6 and lately I have seen a lot of tab files ending in GPX. Rather than .gp5, .gp4, .gp3 etc.

My problem is EOF doesn't "see" those files in the directory. I tried save as in GP but it won't let me save in an earlier version. Anyone has a solution?

working on a file where the tabs are out of wack with the mp3.

Because every single note has to be adjusted, it takes a lot of EOF time...

What I found is that working on the notes, I end up with notes to be played either after the mp3 ends or way before so your notes ends but the song keeps on going.

That's where I'm at right now.

Is there a way to delete bars? right now I have 6 at the end that I need to remove. How do I go about doing that? there are no notes in those 6 bars but in the 7th I have a final chord (I have synched this one to the end of the mp3, no now I have those 6 bars in the middle that I need to get rid of.

First time encountering that, which is why I picked this project...any suggestions?

Self teaching guitar here and I have a question regarding the #5 chords ie. F5, G5, C5 etc...

In RS they are always shown as using 3 fingers (1-2&3) however with finger 2 I can cover the string and forgo the 3rd finger. Is it ok to continue with 2 fingers or as I progress will that become a problem?

My GP track has Lead Guitar, Rythym, Solo, Bass, Drum Kit, Vocals.

It looks like someone isolated the lead guitar solo on its own track. How do I go about merging it with the lead guitar track?

I assume it's not as easy as click drag and drop...

Do I even have to merge them or can I import both tracks. But wouldn't that mess up RS when loaded in? You only have a choice of lead, rythym or bass in RS2014...

Hi there, I use GP6 and haven't had any issues thus far importing into EoF without transferring files.

I am also a newbie, I have had great successes with some songs and failures I don't even comprehend on others.

However, being new,  I stick to easier songs for now as I build my experience, I have a "hold" folder of songs I couldn't complete because of errors messages or crashing etc... Once I am more familiar with the tools and asked lots of questons on the forum, I will revisit those songs.

A song that has varient BPM is out of reach for me at this time, I may suggest to start with easier projects at first because it can become overwhelming at times.

People who are successful creating CDLCs are not necessarily geniuses but have more knowldge and experience. Ask them for help, everyone on this board is great at answering questions and they don't make you feel bad about even the stupidest mistakes (I speak from personal experience here). Tap into this resource to learn!

I imported my tabs from guitar pro 6. The tabs are almost perfect to the original published tab.

Once imported in EoF, I added my leading silence. Doing so worked great for the beginning of the song (i only had to do minor adjustments) but at the end of the song, it fades out at 4:03 but I have notes rolling until 4:29.

I am working on America's Horse with no name (I know it's a CDLC already availble but how do you learn if it's always done for you?)

First time coming across this problem. Used USC to create my lyrics, everything is saved normally as a .txt file. When I import into EoF I got a pop-up error message saying error invalid lyric file.

I haven't done anything differently from my succesful CDLCs.

I just packed it without lyrics and it works fine.

Any ideas on troubleshooting this?

P.S. I tried to re-tap lyrics again from scratch in case and I am getting the same error message when importing to EoF.

I'm on my 3rd day working with EOF and had successes with 8 CDLCs so far and 3 that didn't work. But that's part of the learning process.

I have 2 questions for you:

1- I couldn't find the answer to this basic question and have not yet started to play with features yet.

What are the tabs at the top of EOF and what do they do?

The "Supereasy, Easy, Medium, Amazing and BRE" tabs at the top.

2- There are so many awesome tutorials for just about anything. You guys have done a fantastic job. Being a newbie, has anyone ever thought of creating a troubleshoot document with common errors from users?

For example, I made 2 while learning. For example loading the mp3 into USC and doing the lyrics before adding the leading silence...Yep that's a pain. or creating a DDC but not editing the guitar arrangement in the creator tab to the DDC file created etc...?

Even though you got your answer on tones (much easier to import than to create from scratch but makes for a great project and a tester for patience! It can be very rewarding...)
