Rocksmith 2014 Remastered just updated, and now the sound cuts out when it gets to the screen with the "begin" button. I haven't played for awhile, and it worked fine the last time I played.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Does D3DX9_42.dll need updating again?

I now get the same error. I have that entire drive excluded in my AV (Bitdefender).

Looks like I'm not the only one it didn't work for.

I don't know the first thing about CDLC creation, but was hoping that this would be simple enough that I'd be able to fix some of the CDLC that I downloaded that are B standard and labeled as "custom tuning" CDLCs that don't work. The authors aren't around, and I obviously don't have the source files.

Is there anyone willing and able to extract and fix existing CDLC if it's possible?

Is there a thread to submit such requests?

Yes, you can fix any cdlc you already have downloaded. It's easy once you know how to do it.

I either missed something or have another issue because I tried it and still can't get past the tuner.

Is running the "bass fix" all that's needed to fix an existing CDLC or is there more to it?

I've run into a few that I can't tun emy 5 string to and would like to fix them if it's easy enough that I can.

I can't seem to find any tutorials on fixing existing files.

Which cdlc did you try? Is the A at A220 for those that you did try?

I'd have to check, but I tried several different CDLC with the same result. I'm not sure about the A being at A220; would that be something I'd have to dig into the file to find out? All I know is that they tend to be labled custom tuning and the tuning is BEADG.

I'm having problems tuning my B string as well.

In the tuner, the closest I can get is +3, any closer and it goes to +999. It's all over the place. My B is a 130.

I can't play any 5 string CDLC.

Any suggestions?
