  1. I changed the "renaming template", added keys, rearranged and added my own text. and it did rename the files, trust me I checked the files after each time. I took a cdlc I hadn't added before to my dlc folder and it was renamed.
  2. Thanks for your answers... It's the simplest things you forget to try :-) Now it works, after this steps. 1. Moved my dlc folder to d:\ 2. Changed "Rocksmith Installation Directory" in settings to d:\ 3. Did a rename of all my dlc/cdlc 4. Put dlc folder back to it's original place 5. Changed "Rocksmith Installation Directory" back 6. Tried to do another rename of all files and it works, no error message. I can even do longer filenames and directories without any problems now then before, this is strange but I'm not complaining :-)
  3. Hi, Not really sure where to post this. I have a little problem that I can't solve. It started a couple of months ago, and it's when I use "Renamer" I got a error message for every song in my dlc folder when I want to rename them, no matter if it's official dlc or cdlc, see picture. I even get it using the "Preview" function. I have searched for a solution, re-installed Windows 10, formated the disc that I have my steam folder on with no luck. I have to keep the "Enter key" pressed to let it go thru the list and when it's finished all files are renamed so the function works. I have tried multiple versions of cfsm, both releases and betas. Can anyone help me? What have I missed? Thanks! /Thomas
  4. 1.1.1.6 (Beta) Sorry to say that it´s back after I bought some dlc´s on steam sale this weekend, bought the volbeat ones. same as before and some new ones (that worked before without problem) with a dot (.) after the Artis and/or Album, like W.A.S.P. and R.E.M. and Garage Inc. that creates one path with the dot and one without. Is there a way to completely remove app´s all files to start over totally fresh? UPDATE/FIX: Moved the songs that I had problems with out of the dlc folder did a rescan and then moved the files back to the root of the dlc folder and did another rescan and now it works again.
  5. Version 1.1.1.4 (Beta) Lets see if I can explain this... I had some problem with duplicates, that were no duplicates. The problem is when there is a "/" in one of the fields for example Volbeats album "Beyond Hell/Above Heaven" this will create a duplicate where one is correct and the other one got "\" replaced with "/" in the path after the album name. I use a path like this: "dlc\\<artist>\\<album>\\<title> - <version>_<dd>" Some other songs had a empty space after the text in the album name which would create one correct and one incorrect version of the file (in the app) by putting the empty space in the path after the album name. Don't know if this is the case with any other of the fields, I only had problem with the album name. I corrected the errors by replacing "/" with "-" and removed the empty space manually by using "Edit song information" so now I don't have any duplicates, but I think it could a good thing to look in to. Keep up the good work \m/
  6. Thank you! After I manually deleted all the empty folders that had been created it worked, so I'm happy :-D \m/
  7. In Swedish it says: "ERROR: Det går inte att skapa en fil som redan finns." Great that you found the bug, looking forward to the update ;-)
  8. Since I uppgraded/re-installed to 1.0.0 the Renamer dosen't rename my files. It creates empty folders for every file, I get a error message in the log that translated from swedish says: "ERROR: Can't create file that already exist". Doesn't matter if I change "Renaming temlate". I Use "Delete empty directories after renaming" but it dont delete anything. So now I have alot of empty folders and files that dont get renamed. On the bright side is that Renamer now remembers what I wrote so I don't need to re-write it every time :-) Thanks and keep up the good work \m/
  9. I bought a new laptop yesterday and ran into the same problem. Tested all the tips in this tread and no go... After alot of testing and bad words i remembered that I moved my "documents"-folder to the second HDD as I´ll always do for back up and saftey reason, if something happens to the install-HDD or I´ll have to do a clean install of windows... Looked up the original "documents"-folder under "users"-folder and created a CFM-folder there... Eureka! now it works :-) as alex3305 said, maybe the CFM-folder don´t creates during the install process or the first startup? and maybe a chance to have it in another place/hdd then the default-folder... With that said I´m a happy camper and can now use this great app and continues to organize my customs ;-) \m/
  10. I love this utility/app/program, I love to have everything where it should be (according to me) One thing I really would like is the Renamer to remember what I wrot in "Renemaing Templete" so I don't have to write it every time I want to use it :-) Thanks Dev. Team for the great work you have done, and most definitely will do in the future \m/
