Plz try latest toolkit beta and let me know if it fixes the issue.  You found a bug that was introduced in the last commit.  Thanks
  2. cozy1's post in Autosave Feature was marked as the answer
I revised autosave so that it occurs on application exit.  This should prevent some of the issues.  I did observe template save file dialog if I added arrangements and then imported tones (this was unexpected).  This latest beta revision gets rid of this behavior.
  3. cozy1's post in Generating Error? was marked as the answer
Use a different album artwork image.  256x256 jpeg would be best.

The 'cst_showlights.xml' in your project files is still invalid (there are only three 'showlight' elements).

Delete the 'cst_showlights.xml' and the *_RS2014.dlc.xml files.
    Start the toolkit CDLC Creator.
Add the 'PART REAL_BASS.xml'  file to the toolkit Arrangements first!  The showlights will be generated from the bass arrangement only if it is added first.  Add the other arrangements, i.e. guitar and vocals.
Add/Edit the matching tones.  Be sure to delete the 'Default' tone if still present.
    Set the version number.
    Generate

There should be seven 'showlight' elements in the 'cst_showlights.xml' if you followed these steps correctly.

EDIT: Released new beta toolkit that validates the generated 'cst_showlights.xml'.

    No, you don't need to.
  6. cozy1's post in Version 2.8.2 of Rocksmith Toolkit problems was marked as the answer
    @@KingCobra  et.al.
If the user enters the path to WwiseCLI.exe in the toolkit's "General Config" settings then the toolkit will attempt to use only that path.

If the user does not enter a path to WwiseCLI.exe in the toolkit's "General Config" settings then the toolkit will try to find the Wwise installation path from the Environmental Variable for "WWISEROOT".  The Environmental Variaiable path is written during the default Wwise installation.

If the user specifies a custom path during Wwise installation then the user must enter this path into the toolkit's "General Config" settings or else an exception will be thrown because the toolkit does not know where to find WwiseCLI.exe.

If in your case, it looks like, you have a default installation of Wwise then you should not have to enter the path into the toolkit's "General Config" settings.  That is if the version of Wwise that you are using has correctly written the Environmental Variable for "WWISEROOT".  You can confirm this by right clicking on "My Computer" and then select the 'Advanced' tab and then press the button 'Environment Variables' and look for the "WWISEROOT" variable under 'System Variables' which will show you the path to your Wwise installation where the toolkit will expect to find WwiseCLI.exe.  The version of Wwise that you have (Wwise v2015.1.4 build 5497)  should work with the toolkit if you have WwiseCLI.exe installed and the path is set correctly.

Again, if WwiseCLI.exe is not found then the toolkit will throw an exception.

This should better explain the inner workings of the toolkit.  Let me know if it helps.

I reworked the code for User Profile backup/restore tool in the latest CFSM beta.  Plz let me know if it works for you.
  8. cozy1's post in latest beta was marked as the answer
Thanks  Tone edit/replace function should be restored in latest beta.
  9. cozy1's post in Cannot repair my cdlc. was marked as the answer
CFSM installer script and directory usage has been modified in the latest beta to hopefully address some of the OS Permissions and AV whitelisting issues that users are having.  I would appreciate feedback if the latest beta of CFSM behaves better with newer OS.
  10. cozy1's post in Invalid characters on path was marked as the answer
So I just tried updating this song's (http://customsforge....-babylon-r22872)  App ID in CFSM 1.3.0.8 using both 'Custom Mods' 'Edit App IDs' and 'Edit Song Information' methods.  Both methods work as expected on my machine ('Custom Mods' 'Edit App IDs' is much faster if all you want to do is update AppIds).  I don't get any message about "Invalid characters on path".   Just to rule out any possibility, you may want to rename the file and remove all dashes '-' from the file name manually before starting CFSM.

Looking at the in-game screen shot above, the album artwork is missing for the songs you are having trouble with.  Please run the songs through the complete CFSM Repairs again.  Read the CFSM Help instructions for how to setup the Repairs feature properly.

Please make sure you are running as admin and your OS privileges are set to allow editing files and running apps.

See this thread for how to set privileges.

Please try changing to English character set, if you can, and see if that solves (Turkish) character issue.
  11. cozy1's post in wWise Error was marked as the answer
You still need to have Wwise 2013, 2014, or 2015 installed for the toolkit to auto convert wav or ogg audio to the required Wwise wem files.  If this feature of the toolkit works then you have the correct Wwise version installed, otherwise you will get a toolkit error message.
  12. cozy1's post in CFSM deleting songs was marked as the answer
@@ruben11450 CFSM moves corrupt songs which can not be repaired to the Rocksmith root folder.  Look in subfolder "cfsm/remastered/corrupt" or ""cfsm/remastered/maxfive".  CFSM does not delete any CDLC unless you choose to.  You can also restore the corrupt CDLC using CFSM Song Manager, 'Files' toolstrip menu item, 'Restore'  dropdown item and then '.max' or '.cor'.

Let me know if that solves it for you.

EDIT: In new beta versions of CFSM, the 'cfsm/remastered' folder is now located in 'My Documents/CFSM'.  This was changed to eliminate some issues with OS Permissions and AV false alarms.  The new versions of CFSM will copy all older folders and files to the new correct locations.

@iminashi  Well that is helpful direction, thanks.  I will take a look.

OK.  Should be fixed now.  Personally I never use this feature (Edit vocals/showlights) so I was slow at picking up the comment.
  15. cozy1's post in Trouble with saving package was marked as the answer
I can't tell for sure because the error message is positioned in front of the GUI, but the error seems to be indicating that you have not completely filled in all the song information in the GUI.  See if that is it.  If not then PM me your EOF project files and your workflow that is causing the error.

Is your audio file > 30 seconds long?

Does at least one arrangement have a Section defined?

Always make sure you are using the latest toolkit beta!

    Let us know the results.
  16. cozy1's post in .dup problem with CFSM 1.3.0.1 was marked as the answer
"Can I just go in the DLC folder and just manually rename the file by just removing the.dup extension or will this cause problems with the game or file ?"

Yes, you can manually rename the file.  Just remove the  '.dup'  Keep in mind that these were named this way by CFSM because there were conflicts (duplicates) in CDLC that may cause the game to hang.  If you do decide to rename the '.dup', then suggest that you re-run the CFMS Duplicates checker before playing the game just to be sure that you have not restored an actual duplicate CDLC.  Make sure you do a full rescan of your CDLC collection for inside CFSM if you have done any manual editing outside of CFSM.
  17. cozy1's post in Add Dynamic Difficulty - Song too long? was marked as the answer
Please upgrade your copy of CFSM to latest release first.  Make sure you select the 'Repairs', 'Mastery 100% Bug' plus the 'Max Five Arrangements', 'Remove Bonus' options in addition to the 'Add Dynamic Difficulty (DD)' 'Overwrite Existing DD' options,

Let me know if latest rev of CFSM works for you.
  18. cozy1's post in Cant install 1.3.0.0 tries to remove old ver non existant was marked as the answer
Read this thread for solution.  You have a really old version of CFSM installed and you need to manually uninstall it first.  Alternatively, download the 1.3.0.1 version which should not have this issue.  Let me know if it works for you.
  19. cozy1's post in Virus in 1.3.0.0 [FALSE] was marked as the answer
Only 3 out of 56 common AV programs claim the app is a virus/trojan.

Your AV is giving a false positive.  You need to add the installer (CFSMSetup.exe) and the application (CustomsForgeSongManager.exe) to your AV's whitelist of approved apps.  Make sure you are running as admin.

Thanks to @raynebc for the link to virustotal website.
  20. cozy1's post in Internal Error, Clickonceuninstaller.exe not found was marked as the answer
Click Once Installer is a dinosaur of past.  We have not used that for like 6 months.  This may help you.

Make sure you disable your AV when you are installing new beta CFSM, especially if you are using Windows Defender.

Simple ... use the latest toolkit beta to generate the CDLC and you won't have the bug.
