clicking the top brings up the menu, but it says 0 results of 28,000ish entries, but i havent used a search criteria so cant see a 'master list' like before

I actually have my own folder in RS for 'bass only' cdlc, it stops me being dissapointed when i cycle through my song list!.

Im on mac, all works fine using the smashing pumpkins dlc. if you song id is correct for whichever you are using, have you made sure the cdlc is in the same system folder as the official dlc. I set up a desktop shortcut link to save scouring for it each time.

exit to title, re enter the main menu.

ANother simple tip if you are having my problem, because I have further reduced the quantity of 'freezing' songs. Turns out I had nearly 500 CDLC in the folder so I took them all out and just put in what I want to play on that day and 90% of those new ones i mentioned i tried to convert now work. I am guessing multiple id number clashes or something is to blame. I'll try to reconvert freezing CDLC with the latest toolkit to see if that works as there are a few of my favourites that i cant get to work, therefore waiting for the author to post a mac version is the only thing I do in that circumstance. Patience required.... ..... well, I am an idiot. Now I have reduced the quantity of cdlc in the folder (to about 20-60), everything seems to work, even the ones that have never worked. Bonus! I have 10 folders named by style and just reload the game with a different folder to play them all, dumping the lot in NEVER works.

Sometimes the pc version files convert, sometimes it crashes on loading the song. Just today, I couldnt get ANY of my pc converted to mac tracks to work, even ones previously working (with a % mastery) on them would also freeze. I did update my mac from 10.10.5, I just think perhaps the toolkit i use is crappy. I use version 2.6.0.0-4174fc7b but is that doesnt work, i also try an older one as sometimes the different versions will convert different files. It is very hit and miss tho, I have 100 working and a folder of 100 'not working' which I occasionally try to re-convert but lose patience. An interesting trick that often works to 'display' any tracks you are wondering arent visible is....after loading to main menu, exit to title, and reload, essentially loading into the menu twice. This picks up all CDLC in the folder but wont fix freezing tracks.

Thanks, it seems i was downloading via my mobile phone and the browser was seeing them as .bin files but the same files on mac browser are indeed psarc files so i just shouldnt use my mobile. It doesnt answer the question why, of course, but it doesnt matter now.

I have various missing cdlc that seems to appear or stay missing at random each time you load the game, i know there are a few threads about this. But......now I have a load of cdlc, I tried putting each artists songs in their own folder in the dlc directory (im on mac), and to my surprise, not only did the game read the sub-folders, but almost all songs appear!

I have downloaded a few cdlc which are .bin files from google drive accounts and i cant extract the bloody things! Im on mac only so no windows software will help, any ideas?

I think im following in miss sunmers footsteps, latest build doesnt work, all songs crash game. Using import package leads to the same error message so i am going to try that older build....ill update soon. Ok, one song has worked, i havent tried more, using the converter function of the older toolkit. the import package still has an error but that doesnt matter for me, off to download all the pc versions! Update...... 99% of songs convert now, occasionally one will just freeze the application but literally only 2 songs out of the 50 or so I have used. I convert via the old toolkit and use the new one of the old one freezes up. I also got 99% of songs to show up in the song list in the game, load the user, exit to title, reload the same user (maybe do this twice) and bam! I can see all my songs, thats a looong list! ( i posted this bit in another thread but thought it may be useful here too, sorry!)

nope, but i'll bump this as i have downloaded a bunch of mac cdlc, some freeze exactly as you mentioned (most notably rock around the clock and avril lavigne contagious). I havent yet tried converting myself although i have the toolkit, if I have any luck ill let you know

Ive been pn ps3 for years, just bought mac version in sale, ten quid! Now im in custom heaven!

On mac, i have the random disappearing and reappearing cdlc but generally if i wait for it to enumerate like on ps3, they all show up. Some freeze on loading tho, the note highway doesnt move but i can still pause and exit tho.

I just have different profiles for different 'favourites' lists, so each profile shows that genre at the top. Not a fix, but good enough
