Still not happy, might be time to start make them.  😉

You mean you have created your own JCF content, playable on Unjammit? 😮

Would you share to take a look?

As "Crammit", I know.  And they've done a great job.  Now if custom tracks could be created for it, that would be great,.

So i've heard, but I'm not a huge fan of having tracks people contributed sold back to us (that "free with the app" excuse is just plain bull)

I'll play the tracks I bought back in the day without paying extra, thanks

I brought this idea up several days ago in the Chat, when I first discovered this place.  I bought RS for PC just for the CDLC, and I think "backign track DLC" would be pretty cool too.

I have a collection of around 50GB's worth of mostly original multitrack recordings...  I'm obsessed with multitracks, partly due to my job.

Riffstation is decent, as the poster above mentioned.  There's also Jammit, which is pretty good and does use actual multitrack files.

      But hey, it's not Rocksmith.

    jammit was brought back, btw

I know this has been brought up before, but I haven't seen it go anywhere...so I'll bring it up again.

Am I the only one who really wants CDLC with a guitar-less backing track used as the music?  As an example, I've been playing More Than A Feeling since it was first released in RS1.  Now I want to challenge myself by playing it without the lead guitar track at all.  I can do that by going to guitarbackingtrack.com or by buying the song on Jammit.  I've done both of those things, but still find myself preferring the Rocksmith interface.  Can't we have the best of both worlds?  All we would need is someone to use an mp3 without the lead guitar part when packaging up the CDLC.

Anyone else interested in this?  Basically, we can bring BandFuse's ducking feature to CDLC.

btw, the jammit app was "resurrected" as open-source. check out unjammit.com

    tracks are also around

Has anyone looked at Jammit as a possible basis for the cdlc? I haven't tried it but it sounds like has the stems or something similar for its music tracks, of course along with the separate tabs...

yeah, it worked well for me but the app is no longer available

however, some clone was developed and can be downloaded at https://unjammit.com

also, I heard the content was salvaged by the users so tracks should still be available

@ I never mentioned this, but you could get isolated tracks + transcriptions for Stratus from Jammit: http://www.jammit.com/artist/billy-cobham

Now that you're almost done it's probably pointless and too costly for you but I just wanted you to know about it.

    good that you mention that.

sadly, Jammit as a company went under

But there is a fully functional clone at unjammit.com (works on all devices)

also, the community backed up the whole catalog
