Might've murdered the tuning machine on my bass on the last song and had to switch basses.
I was the auto-screenshot from RSMod but it appears to be taking the screenshots too early.. i'll have to figure it out later. This is my entry. Good luck to all!
PS: Coming Home is a fun song to play on bass. Good choice!
Afternoon all...
I've been looking for some slap and pop in depth tutorials because... I'm a mess at it.. LOL
Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm fully self taught on bass using Rocksmith so something that .. yanno... ELI5 might be helpful -- if you have recommendations, please drop them here?
Many thanks!
VERY low latency ... no feedback other than the amp being a pile of crap.
As far as the latency goes -- it really ultimately depends on your PC. (I'm running an overclocked 10900K @ 5.2ghz -- so I have very low latency ANYWAY).
You are missing the specialized tones and such because you're feeding a raw signal to the amp -- but sometimes that's better IMHO when you're trying to work on a difficult section.
As am I -- all self taught through Rocksmith for bass. I also recommend turning down audio track slightly -- I found that running a splitter in line from the bass -> splitter -> RS Cable AND small practice amp -- gives you a better feel from of what you're playing (assuming you don't have much lag from the game itself).
For what its worth -- I bounce between pick and finger depending on the song and how much attack on the notes there are.
Green Day -- for example, a lot of it is picked.
Three Days Grace -- as an example, is more plucked.
