Buffer size?

A (cover) of Jules originally on RS1 if that's a possibility and We three kings from the old holiday pack. I really liked those tracks and if there's a way to skirt things enough to get a version of them Id apricate it a lot. I know they were "official: but one doesn't exist anymore and the other you have too boot up rs1 every time and Im pretty sure I seen covers of other songs on here so hence my ask.

Okay so I dont know if anything like this exists in the custom world or not, or if someone will ever make this kinda stuff. Not sure how to describe it either, But Tere are some melodies that are very simple to play but also sound great and for the most part stays away from cords. simple being objective of course I can play farly complicated things now but my heart keeps getting drawn to songs that have melodies I like, those simple but kinda powerful parts that would sound good on one guitar with or without any effects, not supper Arpeggio heavy either (at least not fast ones I hate those lol). To give an example I mean like that old timey part in Iron madden dance of death after the beginning alternating notes part and Fear of the dark has something like that too.. i love playing those sections I just kinda wish I could find a custom that's an extended version of that all with the same or similar vibe if any of that makes sense. it doesn't have to have that medieval or renaissance feel to it either can be something like the easter sounding part of space ostrich that comes after the slides if anyone's played that.. Im just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of customs that may be like that or generally any mainly melodies tracks that might exist cause I certainly cant find what im looking for by searching on ignition but im very open to sudgestions.

SIDE-NOTE: Its hard to believe how time flew by and the vast difference between version number on here and the one I had... the one I had that gave me the trouble was I cant remember but it was years old.. I think. but apparently I had a later one 12.0.40629.0 which seems higher then the current one since 3 is lower then 12 but the format is obviously just different. This one is not digitally singed like the other one but at least It wrokes and seems better and less choppy.

Indeed that was the issue and my memory returned after reading this... what happened was and forgive me If I'm not making the most sense here I'm out of it today but boy I feel silly now lol.. 1. when I updated to win 10 from 7 I opted to keep most of my files and installations but of course sometimes when updating OS some installations may not be marked in the register anymore or icons, shortcuts may vanish.. sometimes installers need to simply be run again only to pass the files already in place or replaced by comparable ones.... anyways getting of track point is I didn't see any evidence of the program anymore and plum forgot I didn't uninstall it before. 2...Also. It didn't help that when rocksmith remastered came out many CDLC's ceased to function so I got rid of them and did a clean install of RS and decided to wait until a fix is available.. Flash forward to today... I checked out the site, I remembered what to do and began looking for an updated DLL any other fixes and improvements to my great joy! but...when it came time for this tool which I loved before... I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was wrong... worse case the pregame was buggy and Id have to wait long for a fix but now I know thanks to you it was user error lmao. solution was exactly as you said I had to manually delete all the files assorted with the song manager which was a pain cause somehow I had TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS INSTALLED IN TWO FOLDERS? and the uninstaller failed on one probably due to me manually deleting some files.. needed to search and clear em and I ran a registry cleaner to be safe too.. Now it works just fine!

Hi Im on windows 10, I downloaded the latest version from the link at the top of most pages... when installing it gets to the step that says "click next to uninstall old version" I click next and it says "internal error extract temporary files: no files matching "{temp\ClickOnceUninstaller.exe" found Not sure what to do about this.. Im going to look over all my files and see if I have anything from the song manager on here but I dont remember installing it since the remastered update..

Hello I have posted about this in help an support but so far Ive not gotten far with this issue. What i know if when I download and install the DLL listed as PC alternative from the op's post and put in my CDLC library I keep geting a glitch of master mode where it will try to turn it on even when I have it set to off and level up also to off. I dont mind MM most times but on some songs or some times I just dont want it on.. There is also an issue with my tones not sounding quite right also.. I dont know if its the DLL file or if its a custom song causing this but those 2 issues effect more then just my CDLC they also effect official DLC like when I was playing foreplay/long time from Boston or Fear of the Dark by Iron maiden for examples. If this is not a glitch caused from the DLL file I wonder if it may be because of the Dance of Death CDLC.. That is another song Ive notice these issues with but I cant be sure.. Im hoping someone here has some insight. PC alternative 1: DOWNLOAD Copy to Rocksmith 2014 root folder; Run the game by normal Rocksmith2014 executable app (will popup a console debug window, it's normal, don't worry) Thanks to Zephyrix for this patch. I have clead up my rocksmith and uninstalled and re-installed it and put my CDLC and the DLL in another folder so for now Im bug free again.. Ive seen different versions of the DLL file going around and alternative versions of it so Im wondering whats up with that and if maybe changing it may fix the issue.. I will do some troubleshooting.... surly Im not the only one who experiences the MM issues. EDIT. I just thought of another possibility if its not the DLL. One custom I think may be causing issues is Iron Maden Dance of Death, Its just a theory currently.. Ill try and test that when I can.

Thank you for your input.. I may do that with the ini.. Im just not sure whats going on but im sure it has to do with the .DLL file or a custom tack or two because not one of these bugs happens before putting back in my customs and the .DLL..

Hello, I have some issues with rocksmith which I think may be due to the D3DX9_42.DLL or the custom songs them selves.. I'm not sure if what i will describe is old news or long solved but if not I hope someone can help me or provide insight on the matter. I believe strongly in communities working together towards issues by reporting, troubleshooting and solving them as one. That said, if s solution is not known I hope maybe my report or that others may offer some clue or insights that lead to a solution in the future for everyone it concerns. I also belief that even personal individual bug reports can offer clues that may have been overlooked otherwise so even if you have no solutions or ideas but have experienced similar problems please report them and add any details you think relevant. Okay so like I said I'm experiencing a number of issues and at first I suspected it was due to the D3DX9_42.DLL file or one of more CDLC songs but I couldn't be sure and thought my issues could be a bug with rocksmith its self since they effected my official dlc as well as CDLC.. However a couple months ago I switched to windows 10 and a new hard drive so when I reinstalled Rocksmith 2014 and the official DLC's I owned I just played it that way for most of the last 2 months and I noticed that all my issues were gone.. However 2 days ago I pulled the D3DX9_42.DLL file and all my CDLC from my external drive and dumped them back into my game and sure enough the issues returned which makes me certain that its and issues with the D3DX9_42.DLL file or one or more CDLC files.. I hope its the DLL files causing it because of it not being the latest version or something as the one I got was from a very old thread here on custom forge. If its the CDLC then that could be a monstrous takes to find out which one(s) are effecting the game. Like I said the issues effect official DLC too.. Im not sure about base songs so much as I hardly play them in comparison to official DLC and CDLC but I have not noticed the issues with base songs.. The issues are as fallows 1. Mater mode will activate even if I have it turned off or even if I set level up to off. MM dose not bother me on most songs when I want it on but on some songs I just don't want it on.. whatever the reason it is annoying to have this turn on when it is not yet wanted or I feel like just seeing the notes.. here are 2 official DLC songs that I have noticed it happening 2 in the last 2 days... Foreplay/Long Time by Boston and Fear of the Dark by Iron Medan 2. Tones on many official songs sound different now. It is very much noticeably different from how they sounded before I put back in the CDLC and the DLL file which is needed to use CDLC. I notice that some will sound louder or otherwise more noticeable then be for or even quieter.. just basically they don't sound like they used to, like something has changed.. I don't sound as much in harmony with the backing guitar anymore.. I dont know how else to explain this right now.

Well thank you for that.. seems its just red that keeps it from being available.. their is not even any recourse for people who already owned it sadly.. I asked RS about it and they just coldly said it was a one time gift and is no longer available... which I already knew or I wouldn't have been asking for them again.. So yeah that was indeed one of the 3 songs.. I just dont understand why they are so firm on not letting people have those tracks anymore was it cause Seth is no longer with them after the band fuse irony? I dont know.. it just sucks cause they were free tracks in the first place... Yeah i dont know well how all this works I just thought that if someone had the files in their DLC that it would be straightforward but now I guess not... eh..

Hello, I'm not sure If I can ask this or not but since it is concerning a DLC pack that was free I did not see the harm.. anyways some of you may have known that in the days of the original rocksmith they released a free Christmas DLC pack which also worked with 2014, however part of why I switched to the PC version was because my xbox was breaking down again and for the last time.. it has since died and so I am unable to play these tracks anymore.. I dont know if this would work but if anyone on here happens to have that original pack if you could message me Id be extreamly grateful.. I wanted to play these tracks with my family in multiplayer like we used to before the xbox broke down but was unable to, it would be nice if we could scheduled a make up before the new year.. I tried posting on the rocksmith Facebook but I never even got a reply, granted that was a long shot and I looked though the DLC list again yesterday hoping they put them back up like they have some years cause If I could find the tracks my self I would have so this is pretty much my last hope I think... it sucks they wouldn't just send me the files as Ive always been a heavy supporter of rocksmiht, I pretty much buy every DLC that comes out, I also do my best to spread positive word of mouth about the game when I have an opportunity even this late in the game. P.S I know there has been some CDLC versions of those 3 songs that came in the pack but Id much prefer the original versions for a number of reasons.

Dose anyone know this song by fastball "are you ready for the fallout" I cant find a real tab for it anyplace, just chords. Im still very much learning guitar and I dont think this one will ever get made I requested it a super long time ago so Im thinking about trying to make it my self but Im at a loss on how to beigin to match it up with the aduido and making sure I got the right notes there.
