shrubbery told me that since March 9th using the latest Toolkit build he has not built a randomly freezing arrangement. Can anyone else claim like MadMaxx did, that it still causes the "arrangements sometimes not working bug"?

Now I'm confused I figured the SNG encryption process was done when generating a package, so it would be no different than "Update SNG".

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you guys. I've been in a long process of moving, but it's all done now. I take back what I said previously about the latest build not fixing the "arrangements sometimes not working" bug. It does fix it! This time I tried "Update SNG" when repacking it, which I should have done the first time, since the SNG encryption changed to fix this problem. Afterwards it played perfectly with no freezing. By the way, this custom didn't have any bonus arrangements. I can safety say we should officially release v2.6.0.0 because I still see that bug happening to people making new customs.

Damn...Thanks for testing as well. Wish this bug could be figured out. It's the biggest problem effecting the community. I'd help, but my expertise is in web development like HTML/CSS, PHP, and web services, plus Java.

Is it the same arrangement that was not working before the fix?Yes the lead guitar arrangement. The lead arrangement didnt work before repacking.

Tested Toolkit v2.6.0.0 on a PC custom that had the arrangement bug on lead. Repacked and tested in game. Unfortunatley it didn't fix it. Looks like the bug isn't fixed after all or am I doing something wrong? :(

You think taking down old links to the outdated versions might help to jump start their brain to look up the latest version?

Just noticed "Use zero IV for SNG encryption to fix random package crashes (fixes #112 #145)" Does this really fix arrangements sometimes not working after packaging? If so this is huge! I can't tell you how many times this effects everyone here. So much wasted time repacking customs and happens almost for every custom in one platform or another. If this is the true fix we need a new official version and everyone to know and use it.

I understand the frustration BakerBauer, but I think the reason everyone is thinking it will be a separate section is because the topic title and question is inferring that there is a separate section. The title and question should be reworded.

Sweet! Sounds good to me. I wouldn't have thought you would make a seperate list. Just requires adding some more columns to the table in the database for all the songs and updating the CDLC Search a little.

You can use the DDC tab in the Toolkit with option ddc_dd_remover to get rid of DD from a custom. Get the latest Toolkit from my signature and try it out. Not sure if it will only work on songs just made with the DDC (Dynamic Difficulty Creator) though.

Yes! This is something I always try telling people. Especially when they complain about DD. It's in my signature, but I'll post it too. :cool: Don't want DD (Dynamic Difficulty)? Here are simple steps to get rid of DD after starting the song. Note that once the song is changed for no DD it will keep these settings in Riff Repeater forever unless you change it! Hit Spacebar for Riff Repeater.Then hold 0 to select all Sections. Then increase difficulty to 100%. Turn off level up (which will also stop from leveling down). Now hit Delete to resume song or Esc to restart song.

It sure does get old having to tell people all the time to try the latest Toolkit build. I just don't understand why people wouldn't think to check and especially if something wasn't working right.

A lot of converting of the Rockand Pro content was already done during the Rocksmith 1 custom SmithyAnvil era. A bunch of mine were originally RB Pro charts that I ended up fixing a lot because they have some problems usually or just wrong notes/chords. I collected almost all the Rocksmith Pro files when they were available on fretsonfire and scorehero.

Thanks for the info. Haven't bought it yet. The only thing that interests me about BandFuse is somehow getting the charting from the Incubus songs and some others to make for here. What kind of files are the songs?

Are you using the latest Toolkit and DDC v2.1? I think I remember there being a fix for that in this last version.
