  3. I really didn't see much wrong with your custom. If your talking about the chord strums that is normal. RS will only show the new chords notes when there is a chord change. Check out chord strum in the link below. If you referring to the small empty section in the last solo, if the notes show up in EoF but not in RS, check to make sure they are not ghost notes. A ghost note will have a ( ) sign around the note fret number. http://static2.cdn.ubi.com/ncsa/rocksmith/website/guides/Notehead-tail%20guide.pdf Also PM sent:
  4. Use the Customs Toolkit. Click on the convert tab and change the source and target tabs to match the formats you want.
  5. Sounds like you have not install the required dll file. Get it here and install it in your Rocksmith folder. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/5ehzgh0s9xdbbfc/D3DX9_42.dll?dl=1&token_hash=AAGRCgJR0scSCHFFYW1NYnnSBtTgAR_HzKIFf6jvSZPohQ If your new to all of this watch this video. http://customsforge.com/topic/4776-video-guide-how-to-use-cdlc-in-rocksmith-2014-pc/
  6. I agree with Bornwild. Rocksmith customs would not exist without your never ending hard work developing and upgrading the EoF software. Thanks
  7. I'm assuming as Bornwild is that you mean RS1 the first release of Rocksmith. The origianal RS only plays .dat files and are loaded into your Rocksmith/Content folder. All of the files on this site only work with RS2014. You might have some luck finding old RS1 customs here. (Just make sure you highlight the RS1 radio button) http://www.rscustom.net/dlc/
  8. You can use bass part 22 for guitar. Goto Track>Pro Guitar>Set number of frets/strings and change string number to 6.
  9. I'm only working on my second custom now so I'm no expert, but if your not aware of this, the way you get your notes to line up is by moving the beat markers. Also you should use the resnap command to make sure all of your notes line up on the beats.
  10. It looks like it's a symbol for a prebend, but like raynebc said without any sustain. http://static2.cdn.ubi.com/ncsa/rocksmith/website/guides/Notehead-tail%20guide.pdf
  11. I don't own a Mac, but try downloading the toolkit here: http://builds.rscustom.net/master-2.6.0.0-2b5841dad273.tar.gz (Latest build)

  13. I didn't see anything on the Wiki page about having to buy Cherub Rock, but I'm not really sure about how all this works on a Xbox. http://rocksmithcustoms.wikispaces.com/Playing+Custom+Content+for+Xbox As far as I know, if you do have to buy Cherub Rock, Ubisoft/Steam shouldn't care if you have a modded Xbox. You would only have to worry about Microsoft finding out that you have modded it.
  14. Sorry I can't answer much of your question here, but you might be using an older version of the toolkit. The newest versions of the toolkit now has individual volume settings for both track & preview. http://builds.rscustom.net/master-2.6.0.0-4174fc7b3141.zip
  15. Eric Clapton's - Let It Rain. I bought a Clapton song book decades ago with tablature notation and spent months trying to learn the solo.
  16. There are also websites that will tell you the chords in a mp3 file or Youtube URL. I'm not really sure how well they work because I haven't needed to use them yet. You might want to check them out after your trial period has expired. There are probably others also. Chordify http://chordify.net/ Youtab https://www.youtab.me/
  17. I've heard you recommending the Tuxguitar program before on other post. I thought I'd download it tonight and give it a try. What a great freeware program. This is going to save me a ton of time working on my latest custom.
  18. I don't have any way to open this Mac file, but on my PC the file that I click on to open the toolkit app is named: RocksmithToolkitGUI which is an application files. I'm not sure if it is the same for a Mac. Here's the link I got the file from. There are other version here. Maybe the one I listed above doesn't work correctly. http://www.rscustom.net/builds You might also find answers here: http://customsforge.com/forum/56-rocksmith-custom-tool-kit/

  20. I'm not sure what you used to create your lyrics. A lot of people including myself use UltraStar Creator. It's a freeware program and you just tab out the lyrics. I've never had any error messages in EoF using it.

  22. Your computer is way over spec'ed, so it has nothing to do with that. If you haven't looked at it already, there is a PDF file in the rocksmith2014 folder that explains all of the settings in your RS ini file. It could be a buffer problem.
  23. I hope it's Ok to post a link from the old site here. This is over a year old, but hopefully has the info your looking for. http://forums.smithyanvil.com/viewtopic.php?id=1311
