  1. Used v8 of the CLI on an older CDLC file. I had just downloaded it for the first time, dragged it onto the remastered.exe, it did its thing, went into RS and played it - 100%. None of the files I've hit with the CLI seems to actually have the mastery bug fixed - this particular one is just the easiest example to provide, since I didn't have it at all before applying the CLI fix. https://1drv.ms/f/s!AvYwHVKnDAP7jOZEJUwBkODz5W8xYQ Enclosed files, Screencap v8 CLI "fixed" file original file with the .org extension.
  2. Apologies for off topic - but just an FYI / PSA about finding what's eating space on your computer, this tool - http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/ - is freeware, brilliant and works on winxp-win10 and can be run from a thumb drive if you prefer to carry handy utilities around with you. Just remember to run it as admin (rightclick the .exe)
  3. Lol Cozy1, sorry - I skimmed the thread and ignored the rest of the post after I saw the first response to Billkwando. I've personally only had 100% songs showing up since using the "v5 fix" - I had barely played the game since patch day. As such only have about 5 songs that are incorrectly at 100%. As such, if we can get a fix that corrects the issues - but doesn't force a new id on ALL cdlc, then that'd be great. I could then just throw the 5 tracks that are over 100% mastery into the fixer with the create new id flag - and be done with it. Or even better, have the CFSM do all this automatically, based on checkboxes / filter options. If mastery = 100% or more - assign new id, if not - just apply the fix. (I'm talking about fixes / tools to be used by the masses, not the testers currently here.
  4. Quick Question - I used the v5 of the CLI to "fix" my cdlc - it hasn't fixed them, but it did rename all the original files to psarc.org extensions. The issue however is that the v7 fix - thinks the v5 files have all been fixed already. It displays a message saying the files are already fixed - any way around this? A force "fix" option or a force the CLI to hit the original files again, without having to rename 1200 or so files?
  5. Just an FYI - the CLI tool isn't the quickest thing in the world. Don't be surprised to see only about 500 CDLC songs an hour getting fixed. Just posting so people using it should have realistic expectations. I dumped my entire CDLC folder onto the shortcut and let it run.
  6. DD in most CDLC is added via a tool that is integrated into the RocksmithToolkitGUI, it uses some logic to create the DD levels - but will never be as "good" as the manual way that official content is made. It is also reliant on the person creating the track, to do the right thing - create proper sections etc. The DDC (Dynamic Difficulty Creator) tool has been updated many times during the life of CustomsForge however, so some older tracks may have had DD added using an older version that simply isn't a good as the current versions. One thing you could try - is getting the toolkit (https://www.rscustom.net/) importing the tracks that seem worse than others and try re-doing the DD on them. It might make them better, it might not. There are a few options when applying DD that you may want to experiment with.
  7. Lets assume that it turns out as ChickenLittle suggests and CDLC is broken (it won't be, but lets play the game). You can safely assume that once a re-fix is found, the RocksmithToolkitGUI, Customs Forge Song Manager & Custom Game Toolkits - will be updated to auto apply the fix to your existing CDLC collection. You won't need to wait on charters to update every CDLC file and need to re-download every one.
  8. Can i get some clarification on the definition of "break CDLC" here? If you just need to re-add the .dll file into the folder after the update, is that considered to be breaking CDLC? We know plenty of users that have difficulty even managing to do that..... so some might see it as broken. But to me, that isn't "breaking CDLC", it's an entirely possible occurrence after a patch the way steam handles data updates. What odds are we being given here anyway? A straight 1:1 - then put me down for $500.
  9. Thanks guys, we have been aware of it for a while, unfortunately our server admin has had the power out at home and hasn't been able to login to perform a proper server restart - we are hoping this should be fixed momentarily.
  10. Having said that, if you feel you "must" donate something - there is a Donate button under the "other" tab at the top of this page.
  11. Very likely. If steam detects there are files missing, it will try to fix that. If you want to avoid downloading the entire game again, you can try to get Steam to verify game cache - https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 - that (in theory) should get it to just downlaod the missing files. After that, you'll have to follow the instructions again properly. I can't help you properly right now - am about to be headed out for a few hours, but if you have team viewer setup, I'd be happy to run you through it later on.
  12. Lets try and get this thread back on track. A high school student wants to build a rig for approx USD$1500 that will work for a gig with upto 1500 people - that he has to save up for months to be able to afford - try to keep that in mind. First off - well done lad - hope the show goes well, regardless on what gear you end up using - you are much braver than I ever was at 17! An important question really is - what sound system does the venue have? Is there a PA system that you can hook into to provide the volume? Since that question alone can radically alter what gear is appropriate for use. Do they have mics for micing cabs? A competent sound person to help you get the best sound from the combination of your gear and the venue's equipment? I'm not going to touch the Valve/tube head vs modellers conversation. Both have their uses and places - and one very well may be the better option in your circumstance - depending on the answers to the above questions. Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't notice the OP suggesting the kinds of music they will be playing? I'm not going to suggest XYZ equipment over others, because quite frankly, I don't have the experience to say X is better than Y. What I would suggest however, is the OP spending a few hours reviewing the "Andertons Sound Like X without busting the bank" videos. Given the budget for those vids includes the guitar - and presumably the OP doesn't need to factor that in, you could potentially come across a really good (for you) rig in those vids. Nothing will replace being able to sit down and try gear yourself, but maybe those vids can help you narrow down a few options before you step into a music store. - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQXro2VDjyIxdCSplV_Zk4qQbbZc2qTCU
  13. If you're unable to login to ignition (The CDLC Search) please make sure to do the following: Use a browser such as Chrome and Firefox. (IE & Edge is not supported at the time). Try logging out and back in, then try visiting http://ignition.customsforge.com Clearing your Browser Cache. Using a tool such as CCleaner to remove all cookies from your browser. Try Incognito Mode to see if it works there Try another device, such as your cell phone to see if it works there.
  14. What folder were you putting the .dll file in?
  15. That has nothing to do with CDLC, but is 100% the UbiSoft servers. They had a period of 6 months where nothing new would show up within the game, not the "Advertising" of new packs, or showing them from within the store. If you purchase from the steam store - yes they will be installed normally, since even the in-game "store" purchases on PC are handled via Steam anyway. Worst case scenario, you occasionally need to re-start steam.
  16. Pretty sure that track was On Disc for Rocksmith 2012, not DLC. In order to get it then, you need to own 2012 in your steam library, then you can buy the "Disc import tool" - for $10. It gives you most of the on-disc content for 2012, in 2014. About 50 tracks for $10. You won't find links to that track on this site at all.
  17. Use the same toolkit you use to create a CDLC package, Rocksmith ToolkitGUI - 2nd tab, "Unpacker"
  18. So I was messing about with this tonight - got it "kinda working" in that my "green screen" effect works 80% fine within the menus - but not when playing. Is anyone able to point me to the right files to alter so my "green screen effect" works while playing? Also - how to remove the wall artefacts that still show, would be nice. Video eg - recorded via obs, video is un-edited from live capture. I used a canary yellow in place of the typical green, since I thought it might be easier to keep the note highway properly displayed. OBS variance factor is set higher than I'd ideally prefer for this test.
  19. When / If someone ever manages to successfully - and reliably - jail break the PS4 (or XBone) - then we will look into it, as we have done with PC/Mac PS3 and Xbox360. However at this time, CDLC simply isn't possible on the current gen of consoles.
  20. We are investigating the issues going on atm, but for now - I have removed the other 3 entries of your CDLC.
  21. Literally - Unleashed2K was just being hassled by me to fix this when I received this notification. Should be good now.
  22. Project files here; https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6NOdRrJsHm8ZDIxSGxPVzRYT1E&usp=sharing Short version, I'm creating my own DD for this track - and while levelling works (to an extent) 100% mastery isn't possible. It's most obvious on the bass path, the first few purple bars for eg, show zero notes in game at max difficulty. I'm sure this is a result of the way I'm making the DD (copy master track into lower levels and deleting notes I don't want on that level), but advice on how to fix it would be appreciated - and perhaps adding a check / warning in EoF when someone does something stupid (like I am) might be worthwhile. The Lead / Rhythm paths suffer a similar issue, all notes seem to appear, but the mastery %'s don't match the accuracy ones. Other semi related notes; * EoF hotfix as of today applied. (thanks for the sustains going into another section check!) * I know there are other issues with the chart, link nexts and FHP etc, but the focus is on getting the DD how I want it for now. * I know the L/R paths are switched in my EoF project file, I can never remember the correct path name from the list - can we maybe change the path names in EoF so they reflect what RS and the toolkit call them? http://i.imgur.com/HLJu6YF.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/s5SPYZh.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/elnqeKK.jpg
  23. Yeah - update was done minutes before I first started getting the issue. I've previously had no problems with this track (having said that - I last built a package from these project files in 2014), importing the 1 xml file twice and just changing one of them to Lead in the import dialogue, (it's created in EoF as Rhythm), so wasn't really considering that as the issue. Making a copy of the XML (even named PART REAL_GUITAR_RS2 - Copy.xml) , allowed the package to be built without problems.
  24. Thanks - Firekorn pointed out my error - was trying to use the same XML for lead and rhythm, copied the xml and it had no issues when trying to create the package.
