  1. It's a  random and well known bug. More frequently is due to  a custom without tone that breaks  rocksmith tones. I experimented this also  when i switch too much  through setup (amps)  in sound designer when i create a tone. So, you know, the only solution is reboot the game. But this never happened to me after couple songs. This always happened when i found a custom installed without tones, so i always check a custom on rs toolkit, if at least a tone is present.

  2. I agree with rockfirstlast about the intro chords. The rest i think sounds pretty good and also the intro tone fit well, just  some tweaks on volume level.

    Minor thing, In the first F5 powerchords  i'll add  ad a palm mute as the original cover, it gives more emphasis.

  3. I tried to change the tuning of a psarc because it was set wrong by the creator.

    I imported the psarc into the toolkit and edited the parts, changed the tuning to the right one and generated anew - hoewever the tuning was back to original after I checked... other users had the same problem?

    Is this a bug?   Somebody wrote that he fixed the xml by hand - I also tried to load it into wordpad but the tuning says something like

    <tuning string0="-4" string1="-2" string2="-2" string3="-2" string4="0" string5="0" />

    what do the numbers stand for? What would Db,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb,Eb be in those numbers?

    Thanks!

    I managed to change the tuning using the latest rs toolkit. See the post, i wrote the correct values to edit the tuning through xml file. Cheers.

  4. Hi, thanks for this project page, i'm currently testing some tones for N,Y,C pykes customs because i see that they have default one.  For N are  quite ready.

    Actually i see that the tab for lead missing some notes in the main riff.

    In this video you can hear the tones for N and the correct riff with the missing note.

    G9 - G13 doesn't sounds correct.

    This is too cool

  5. This is a nice question. At the moment i don't have a  pan flaute to test it but i think that this is the correct approach to understand if it's possible:

    The challenge is making the RS interface helpful to play the wind instrument. The game displays frets but maybe a clever use of a custom inlay may help make the interface helpful for the alternate instrument. I'd love to figure out a convenient piano custom inlay.

    The easy way is charted it normally and try to play it with a sort of flaute tone.  I tried to make a sort of flaute tone recently  but is really difficult with the effects available. I reached something similar but is more like an harmonic sound.

    If there is a way  to create an external sound from a real instrument and import it on rs as a normal tone file could be possible.
