  1. Been super busy lately and still am, let's see if I find the time to improve on this sightread
  2. No time to play at all this week, two sightreads
  3. Ah, Bark at the Moon.. Jake E Lee and the mystery chord in the verse... I was crushed by the song last time I tried to play it a few years back so glad to see some improvement has been made
  4. Can't do this on score attack unless I actually learn the 2h tapping parts. Song is great and fun to play but I'm just super lazy about 2h tapping on Rocksmith because I really need to look at my hands while doing it so I'd need to memorize the entire section.
  5. Shorter edit.. and still ten minutes. If Rhoads was a midboss we've surely reached the final boss of guitar with MJR. What a guitar god. I think I've played Iconoclast before though I can't remember how it went.
  6. Every time I play Guthrie I find a new way to fail at some part... I want that 91%!
  7. There's something extremely satisfying about playing Mr. Crowley's guitar parts. Also I repaired Guthrie dlc so i lost the comical play count stat
  8. Go Finland :P Need to change strings and intonate my guitar, those high doublestop slides are not happening
  9. Oh nice, more time to play Wonderful Slippery Thing. Mr. Crowley is a good song with nice guitar sections, will try to ape Randy a few times at least. And I guess I need to play that Finnish nonsense as well... Nice picks
  10. Ask me about playing Wonderful Slippery Thing 40 times I would honestly play this more during the weekend but I won't be at home. It could be improved some, like to 93ish %. Not a lot higher than that since the song does have a few licks literally only playble by Mr. Govan himself. I guess I coulda used some of that time to play the Metallica a second time but oh well
  11. I love Guthrie Govan's stuff. Let's just play it, how hard can it oh Well that's was just the practice ru oh Third time's the charm, right There we go, need to practice a bit though. And by a bit I mean a lot. But it's fine because the song owns
  12. My limited musical taste doesn't let me enjoy this one either though it's not quite as bad as last week's song. Once in score attack for me this week:
  13. Had the whole rollercoaster of emotions with this week's song Looking at the band name and album cover "oh no that looks like some awful death metal song" Beginning "oh yes this is actually quite pleasant, what a nice surprise" WHYYYYYYYYYY "OH NO" This was supposed to be the scouting run before score mode plays but it'll have to do because I'm not playing it again Maybe some bonus Duck Tales later.. Never not play Xstatic customs is my motto
  14. There's a lot of great easier lead in vgm customs by Xstatic etc I added a few to the list but not sure if they went to the right tab or if I gave them the right difficulty rating. I think it's suprisingly difficult at first to play even the slowest lick that is on the high frets if it forces you to move your fretting hand.
  15. Let's try that A7X too: Tricky.. I don't mind A7X but one play of each is enough for me
  16. I liked it so much I played it six times
  17. April Wine's song is really good! I hadn't even heard of the band before. Will play it properly later but it will definitely stay in library
  18. Seems fun, will try to play every week. I'll try Lead master class and see how that works out in the long run Edit: I can't seem to get the image thumbnail to show... Do I just need to upload it elsewhere or is it too big? Not sure what's going on. E2: thanks for the help :) E3: Did it in score attack for the final digit
  19. That one you picked up is very Schecter-like in my eyes at least. How're you liking the guitar, assuming you got it already?
  20. Don't want a separate section, I never remembered to check the approved songs in SA since there were so few. Just mark the ones that are of exceptional quality in gold in the current search or something
  21. Yeah the primary price difference factor is the labor cost since the S2 series are made in the US where labor costs are a lot higher. I have a ~15-year-old SE Santana that I use for E flat and it gets the job done. I'd have to imagine the SE quality has skyrocketed from those early models since nowdays you can get all kinds of amazing instruments for dirt cheap.
