    To everyone whose CDLCs show up but do not play (stuck at beginning of song, only amps show up or whatever). I have spent many hours helping a friend with that issue last week so if you are in the same boat that is likely to be the fix:

     

    1) make sure and check twice that there is ONLY the ONE .dll (dl link red banner) NAMED RIGHT (no (1) ) in the ROOT FOLDER of RS14 as described.

     

    if the issue is still there

     

    2) inside steam do an INTEGRITY CHECK:

    Right-Click the game in your Steam library. Click 'Properties'. Navigate to 'Local Files' tab. Click 'Verify integrity of game cache'.

    If there are errors - THATS THE PROBLEM!!!!.

     

    If after the Integry check the issue persists

     

    3) - remove STEAM (RS14 reinstall was not enough) !

        - run CCleaner registry cleaner (use google and download for free)

        - reinstall STEAM, RS14rem, place .dll

        - enjoy

     

     

    @ - regarding your signature - (cough) .... there is a dedicated bass championship held every single week in the classes beginner, intermediate, advanced and masterclass, and yes - bass only tracks are used and very very welcome ... you are invited to put up to 4 into our Song Selection List ... maybe the thing missing is you at the competition ;)

    So.. while for me everything works i won´t say fine but as expected, a friend of mine is deep in trouble.

     

    After the update,

    after replacing the .dll propperly (Win 10),

    after 100% fixing,

    after steam integrity checking,

    after using a new profile

    after setting settings to default

    still all his cdls show up but all crash on playstart - notehighway won´t show up, only the amps (officials and RS1 work)

     

    Anyone has experienced/solved this?

     

    (right now he is deleting/reinstalling cherubrock and after that uninstalling/registry cleaning RS and reinstalling after my suggestion but i doubt that to help)

    SOLVED!!!!

     

    It was a steam error, after complete reinstall of steam and after registry cleaning before that it worked again.

    It was most probably just a coincidence that it happened with the RS Update and deffo it had nothing to do with our DLL - that is good news. THX everyone!

    @@Rodman Oh dude, this happened to me about 2 years ago on my previous laptop. But i cant remember how i fixed it, im sorry... The only thing i can think of: tell him to use the injector patch rather than the .dll (People had said that with replacing the .dll they couldnt start the cdlcs but with that little patch they could)

     

    Is there an injector patch for windows - ? - i thought that was mac only.....

    An "remastered" issue:

     

    So.. while for me everything works i won´t say fine but as expected, a friend of mine is deep in trouble:

     

    After the update,

    no - there are no duplicates ;)

    I have been through all related topics - NOONE (!) else seems to have that issue.

    I can confirm that on his system everything ran flawlessly before the update.

    .. ..."force the CLI to hit the original files again"  That's a feature that can be incorporated into the next CLI beta revision.  I can add a  switch to remastered.exe '-org' that will remaster the (.org) files and overwrite the (.psarc) files so that you can use newer version of the CLI on CDLC that have been repaired with an older versions of the CLI.

     

    That would be very very usable. THX

     

    1) After testing v5 yd both Championship beg and lead tracks did still hit 100%

    I am gonna test v7 or whatever is fresh today, if needed with a new profile and report back.

     

    2) A friend of mine has the problem that since the update, after propperly applying the .dll (win 10), integrity checking and using a new profile, 100%fixing,  still RS hangs on every cdlc (officials work) - notehighway won´t show up.

    I know this must have been discussed and i must have missed it and its the wrong threat but i think its a very short answer that might save me hours. thx.

    For now it is an either or situation.  Either you have buggy CDLC that have 100% result with your play stats.  Or you have remastered CDLC with fresh play stats.  Eventually, when there is time I should be able to fix CGT Game Save Gigbox to reset only the 100% bug in user profile.  This would permit CDLC to keep its original Arrangement Identification as well as the play stats.

     

    NOTE: to all users  make sure you hang on to backup copies of your original CDLC with the bugs. (You should be doing this anyhow, but just saying in case you are not.)  Then in future we may be able to fix those originals and all your play stats will be back. 

     

    There is no quick fix for user profiles, so plz be patient.

     

    Sounds like music to my ears....

     

    So i will keep on using the risknone profile and leave the real one untouched plus of course i will save the .org files.

     

    That would really be cool!

    @@Rodman,

     

    Once you have the 100% mastery bug on a CDLC, you have no other choice but to reset its stats to remove the bug.

    Keep in mind that RS2014 keeps the maximum percentage score in its cache.

     

    Thx for the quick answer... pitty .... what happens when you lose everything.... you start all over again.

     

    On the other hand that means - no need for a safety profile for everyone cause the wrong 100s are going to be erased after fix anyway.

    Excellent work @@cozy1 - THX!!!!!!!!!

     

    When i see it right after CLI fixing all my mastery stats are gone and all the playcounts are gonna be reset too due to id update....

     

    Thats sheer horror, :(  :(  :(  it´s 1000 playing hours and i really use my mastery stats to monitor my progress.

     

    As of course since the update i use a "risknone100" profile all my stats at my real profile are in place....

    So if it is only commenting a few codelines - would it be possible to have an alternative version that does not update the arr. id´s for players in my situation?
