Hi Nick!
That sounds interesting.
Could You explain a little more about the process with synchronization deltas (inverted triangles)?
I own GP8, too, and had a look at that feature but found it not as useful as Go PlayAlong.
When I load a song, I see the triangles, but I really don't know what to do with them.
They don't show anything out of sync.
No triangle is inverted.
Only if I double-click it, it gets inverted.
This seems like a completely manual process to me.
I really would like to have some app support for that. And even if I get results out of it, is this only useful, when I play the songs in GP8?
Because I don't want to.
I want to transfer the songs to Rocksmith.Best, Duesenberger

Hello,
I get a warning, when I am using a fret higher than 24th.
Can I change this so that I get a warning when I am higher than 22 (the Les Paul fret number)?
Cheers, Duesenberger

I have a problem with Rocksmith 2014. It is not working anymore on my pc.
When I try to launch it via Steam, it tries to start, but then I am back in Steam. Here is a video of what happens, when I try to launch the game:
I already un-installed and re-installed. I used the old version, too, which is available via switch. And I validated the games files.
There is no valid Rocksmith settings file after re-installation in the game directory.
Will this be created during first start of the game?
What can cause this behaviour?I used RSDiag, too, and it does not find the game directory automatically, I have to select it. And the diag-file is very short:
Rocksmith Location: O:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014
Valid CDLC DLL: False
DLL Type: None
Valid Game: False

I need some help on syncing of audio (MP3) and tab (GP5).
Here is a video of my process, where I use Go Playalong's automated syncing feature, before I import anything in EOF:
But I am not satisfied with the result. And sometimes the automated sync of Go PlayAlong does not work at all.
I need help in this area, but it seems my ears are not up to the task.
How can I get better? Can You give me Your tipps on- using Go PlayAlong better

Hi,
when I am creating a song the following window appears:
This window foloows my mouse cursor which is kind of annoying.
Even when I go to my second screen where I want to do something else.Could this behavior of this dialog could be altered so that it stays where I drag it?
Best, Duesenberger

That was already very helpul. Thx.

That is a topic I am interested in, too.
Did You already find a solution/answer?

So there is no new version?
Can the error message be ignored?

Additionally, the XML file in the project files (PART REAL_GUITAR) is for Rocksmith 1, not Rocksmith 2014.
P.S. Found Your tutorials and reading through them right now. And I downloaded Your DDCImprover which seems to fix the "wrong cord shapes error", I still get from the running CDLC.
A BIG THANKS for these resources!

Additionally, the XML file in the project files (PART REAL_GUITAR) is for Rocksmith 1, not Rocksmith 2014.
And how do I produce a Rocksmith 2014 XML file in EOF? I thought I can only select "Rocksmith", but not the version.
In the RocksmithToolkitGUI I always choose "Rocksmith 2014".

Solved it by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+F and generated FHP.
In addition to often get this error message when trying to save an EOF. That was not causing the error (missing FHP did) but it is irritating.

I recreated the file in EOF from scratch by importing the GPZ and it crashes at the very same spot.
Could it be that the GPZ has information missing?
-
That is what I thought, too.
How do I highlight the right frets in EOF?
Is there a setting I have to perform?
-
After I updatet a song in EOF (adding silence) it crashes Rocksmith 2014.
Here is a video of the crash:
And here is a view in EOF of the old and the new version right at the position where the crash occurs:

Thx.
I was able to solve the problem by deleting the "expert difficulty" and keeping the easy difficulty in EOF.
I did not even add the expert difficulty myself (at least that is what I think).

I think the thread I posted in the section is more a topic for this section.
As I don't know how to move the topic, I post a link to it here:

Hi, I have the following problems with a new version of a CDLC I have created.
In the old one ghost notes did appear but it ran at the "correct speed" and the Rocksmith view scrolled to the notes beeing played. See video here:
In the new one I have the impression of scroll speed beeing too fast (so it is not out of sync) and the Rocksmith view is stuck at the notes/fret from the beginning.
Where can I fix these errors?
Is that an EOF thing or a Song Creator problem?
Some more information:
Here is a view at the old file with the sections and difficulty:
Here is the new file - it does not seem to have any sections/difficulty. Where do I loose this information?
And a thing I discovered in EOF. The old version only has "Easy"-mode:
While the new version has "Easy" and "Expert"

I have trouble with getting my Editor on Fire to work on my laptop...
I tried to uninstall it and reinstall a couple times, but it still freezes and I'm not able tot do anything. It may be related to updates or something like that, so it would be great if someone here could point me into the right direction what to do/try.
Thx a lot.

been a long time since iv been here, would anyone do look away by big country wanted to learn that song for years, i tried to do it many years ago and couldnt get it to sound right and gave up, now we in lockdown want to start with my guitars again and would really appreciate someone putting the time into this one for me .
official website tab to get someone on their way with it
If You like we can split the costs for creating the useful GP5 to import into EOF between You and me and we are sure to have "Look Away" until Wednesday. I already invested 100 € for the BC songs I then posted for free here. But the GP5-from-tab creators from fiverr.com do cost that much (about 12 $ per song).

Think I tracked down the error, being dead notes that causes Rocksmith to crash. After eliminating those notes everything works fine.

@@adrian142 Try regenerating the FHP in eof (Ctrl + Shift + F) and then click generate. Notes appearing at the wrong time could be a DD issue, try removing and re-adding it in the toolkit.
Thx. Will try it out and keep You posted.

Hello!
Had to install EOF on a new machine. But the import options for Guitar Pro are disabled.
How can I enable them again?
Thx in advance for any hint.
