Thanks! So I got it finally working. No studdering or crackling and it recognizes my guitar through the interface. I then tried saving a cdlc in the dlc folder but it wont show it in RS. So I used the cdlc enabler and after I did that it wouldnt start up again. So I verified the files, put back the dll I downloaded and its working again. Is there a different cdlc installer other than the one I downloaded from ignition search tools? Thanks

wait someone from discord gave me a dll because I have I9 14,900K CPU. But its skipping when it starts now

Also, if you could paste a screenshot of the folder with RS and the .dll and so on, *including* the path so we can be sure that we're looking at the right stuff, that could save us some time, potentially.

running windows 11 pro. Tried to launch meaning I open steam and hit play and it acts like its opening and then the button goes back to play.

So I am having same issues. Havent played in over a year. Went to Steam downloaded the game because I m on a new PC. Tried to launch and nothing. I found and ran the installer and that still cant get it to open. CChecked the DLL its the correct and only dll in the folder.Any other suggestions or maybe I missed something? Thanks

Did a recent security update to my mac. I am running Yosemite 10.10.5 and just downloaded custom song toolkit ver 2.7. When I double click the guitar icon it just bounces and then nothing happens. Please let me know what I can do to fix. Thanks

Ive never had that happen. The issue I have is when I convert a song from PC to Xbox all is fine and then when i paste them into the folder for rocksmith nothing happens, its as if the file is empty. This only happens on about 30% of the cdlc I have downloaded.

Im not trying to insult your intelligence but woul your pasting the file in the correct folder, right?

Anyone converting psarc to xbox ever experience this? You successfully convert a file using the toolkit (no errors) and then when you try to paste the file in the xbox folder for the game its as if your file is empty and nothing pastes. Thanks

So For many songs I am able to convert to xbox format then place on a USB stick and then paste into my xbox folder and no problems the songs work and play beautifully.

For many other songs however, it says they were converted, no errors, but when I go and paste them into folder nothing happens it's almost like they are an empty file.

For example ALL the Five finger death punch songs I am unable to paste them from USB stick into xbox folder. The only one which worked was Lift Me Up.

This happens with other cdlc as well I just used five finger death punch as an example. Is this from my end caused by the conversion process or is this the way the developer of the cdlc packaged the file?

Could it be if they are using a different version toolkit from the one I am using?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any suggestions?

ya i figured I would ask here as that's what the forum is for, right? To help others? Apparently not, especially by your tone. So Ill ask others on here that actually know the answer to the questions and have a nicer attitude about helping others. So thanks for nothing!!

RJtag is the xbox mod which allows this. All you need to do is get the cdlc in the right folder and you should be good. A lot of the cdlc people make on here, even after converting still doesn't work but it works for the majority of stuff.

I use a program on my xbox xexmenu. This allows me to look into the file directory of the game.

I have BF also but I like RS so much better.

I have BF also and I like how the strings/notes come at you better. Also, BF has better scale practice than RS. RS has better songs though.

I had thought about this as a game because for me Scale Racer sux. It speeds up quickly too fast and each time you crash you must start over. You choose the scale you want to practice for example, I thought maybe the game might start out on a pentatonic scale at position 1. Then move to position 2, to 3, etc... After you make it through the entire set of patterns it moves up in speed and then runs back through the 5 positions. Or you could choose to run just the one pattern and have it step up in speed each time you make it through correctly. If you miss, it makes you run through the pattern again at that same speed.You choose the starting speed and whether or not it speeds up or stays the same throughout the practice run.

Yeah scale racer is useless!! I hope someone does scales like in Bandfuse.
