I personally hate DD. It's a pain to deal with, it's much easier to just slow the song down imho :D

Try to play the chords in riffrepeater and play them with different tiny details. Like how much you mute the chord, how hard you press down the strings, how much volume comes out of each of the strings (I've had problems with a few open chords where palmmuting the low E and A string so the bottom 4 strings rang out much louder solved the problem...) It's a little weird but there's usually a way to get RS to listen :D

Personally I just keep playing and I hope I eventually get good enough to just sightread the solo accurately. So far it's worked in Smoke on the Water and R U Mine!? haha I close to never use RR, only to max out songs before I play them A few more years and I betcha I can play some of the trickier stuff!

Can I progressively post new pictures with improved scores? Cus I'd really like to beat the guy whos posted a playthrough! His runs through the solos were aMAZING, and I've never practiced sweeps, so this competition could come in handy for future progress! :D
