how to use the new rocksmith toolkit?

im new to this conversion thing trying to get some new tunes for my ps3...i have a bunch of the cdlc files i tried converting one to ps3 platform and i got a bunch of error messages......says some things are not installed when i first loaded the program it was asking me to set it up but not sure what im supposed to do here and if that mattered for the error messages
