  1. You could use the tone from iced earth 1776 till you come up with a better one it sounds pretty nice.
  2. Dang yippee38 thats a crazy amount of bands you have seen hows your hearing doin?
  3. http://customsforge.com/forum/50-submitted-cdlc-beta/ and http://search.customsforge.com/ never match up either are they counting different things?
  4. I used to just move the notes around till someone was annoyed enough by it that they showed me how it should be done and it really is way easier to synch it up now. Moving every note was very tedious and it just makes things more difficult to chart.
  5. I have been to a couple concerts where all the bands instruments are hooked into some computer stuff that records all the sound output so that the live instruments sound just as clear as a studio recording and then they can have the crowd too in that way the live recording would still make a great custom I think since there is no muddy or quality loss on the instruments.
  6. It seems like I have been here longer than 3 months already man time flies when having fun nice job on the site!
  7. I play inverted lefty but when I look at other peoples videos I don't even notice half the time that they are the standard way. I think im just so used to seeing both that it doesn't bug me anymore but I never tried to play standard since I was so used to tabs it didn't make any sense to me to try another way when I didn't have to or need to.
  8. Daikano what you said does work if you duplicate on a guitar tone and now I got a bass track with a short lead guitar solo in it for my never ending story custom thanks! This could be a handy trick for future customs that are almost all bass with a tiny guitar section.
  9. Oh I guess I never noticed the bass emulator pedal thanks for pointing that out and thats also a good idea Daikano seems obvious after reading it but it never occured to me to try that.
  10. Just wondering if anyone has made a guitar tone that sounds like a electric bass. I got a song that has almost all bass and only a small section that is actually guitar and I was going to do a bass track and a guitar track/ bass with a tone to make it sound like bass otherwise the guitar track would be awfully boring.
  11. I just made a custom and the lead arrangement and rhythm use the same tone but in game the lead is quiet and the rhythm is the correct volume. How is this possible? How do I make the lead the same volume as the rhythm I didn't even know it was possible to have them be different volumes for same tone in the same custom.
  12. Thanks Chlipouni that will come in handy too I have had a few songs were that woulda been usable.
  13. I see that now thanks I never noticed it I always thought the only way to palm mute was to go under pro guitar and edit note.
  14. Oh thank god lol a 16 minute song filled with palm mutes and the guitar pro file had 0 notes marked as palm mutes it was going to take forever thanks a ton smellyorc my wrist thanks you!
  15. I know how to select a section and add palm mutes to the notes but it changes all the notes to the same note. Is there a way to select a section and change all the notes to palm muted notes without changing everything selected to the same note?
  16. to make a preview in eof goto the song tab and near the bottom of the drop down menu is the create a preview. Just play the song in eof till you get where you want the preview file to start and then pause it and go click that option.
  17. http://www.mediafire.com/download/kkmi2od01xmomjs/dante_inferno.rar I put the song and guitar pro and save file in a rar wasnt sure what files u would need. I skipped ahead in the song and changed the bpm and that seemed to be enough to stop the end from cutting off so I figured out a way so not sure if you still wanted to toy around with it or not but there it is. I probably was just doing things weird it wouldnt be the first time.
  18. I know I had this issue in the past and got it to work but i cant remember how. I am working on a 16 minute song and near the start the bpm is 212 and then about half way through it changes to 124 bpm and this cause the notes at the end of the song to pass the end of the song and they just delete from eof. I tried putting a anchor at the end of the song and it just removes it when I change the bpm to 124. Could someone tell me how to change the bpm without it deleting the notes that pass the end or how to make it so it stretches past the end without deleting.
  19. I dont know about a tutorial anymore but I do know once you create a section that repeats its very useful to select that section and add it to the catalog option in eof then next time you use that section you just paste it from the catalog instead of tabbing out that whole section again you can add a bunch of sections that way Im not sure if there is a limit on how many you can add to the catalog but thats a huge time saver for doing it manually. This is quicker than trying to go back and copy and paste too.
  20. Just curious but why do you have so many guitar pro files? Are you afraid they will get taken down at some point and not be around?
  21. KMFDM Volbeat Infected Mushroom Disturbed 16 Volt Megadeth Motorhead Korn Godhead Spineshank Mudvayne Army of the Universe Little shaky at the start its easy to get knocked around like a ping pong ball when you only weigh 135lbs.
