  3. Hi guys, Ignition has been out of a couple of weeks now, so I thought lets give some feedback about it. First and foremost, I like the idea, as well as the new features. There's only ONE thing I personally dislike, which is the color layout. The 'Old' search used white as background color and black for text. And Bold black for new CDLC's. For me this color scheme was very clear. It was easy to see which CDLC's were new etc. Ignition uses dark blue as background color and white text. Which is a lot less clear in my eyes, Bold black is easily recognizable. Bold White just looks strange. Moral of the story, I don't like dark layouts. It isn't 'easy on the eyes' for me. And some of my friends (Who are members here as well) share this opinion. This doesn't mean its bad, Personally I just don't like it. That'd be all, if you share the same opinion, feel free to reply. Greetings
  4. Very Handy this topic, I'm working on Show Me A Sign, Calm The Fire and Slip To The Void. You can give those 'Pending' status haha :) Greetings
  5. Pretty useless, Its fun to play a tune which normaly would be too difficult to pay for someone. And now they can play something that sounds the same/partially the same which is easier. But, if you REALLY want to learn something, you shoudn't leave notes away. You either choose another song, or keep practice-ing until you get it right. One cant just play some songs in RS and expect to do it flawlessly all the time, but when they learn it out of RS, with good old tabs, they might learn it better. Greetings
  6. Because i do have guitars that are tuned on B and A and so on, i dont do it for myself. But i know enough people who's guitars are not really made for that tuning, or cant tune from E to B and back all the time. So I asked it so i won't have to do it for nothing. I just ask to help people.
  7. Hey How are you guys doing? Anyway, what I wanted to say. Would people like it if I convert some very low tuned songs to higher (equal) tunings? So that more people will be able to play them. For example, some songs use B Standard, this could easily be converted to D Standard, with a proper tone it would sound almost the same. Or Drop B#, which is used by Breaking Benjamin. Their songs can be played in both Drop D and Drop C. Using a darker tone with Drop D sounds quite accurate. One example of what I already did is Cold and Colors by Crossfade. These 2 records where recorded using a 7 String in a variation of B standard. I tuned the CDLC in Drop D and it sounds good. Why all of this? Because some beginners dont know how to properly tune to those lower tunings, and some guitars cant even handle it. Most people use .9's or 0.10's. With these strings putting your guitar in that low of a tuning is bassicly useless. So let me know what you think! Greetings :)
  8. Okay guys, thanks! :) this helped. Im gonna look into it.
  9. Hii, Some of you might have noticed Im adding CDLC lately. Except from 1 or 2 im currently fixing the rest is pretty good for my first CDLC. The only thing is, can't seem to get some things working. 1. Riff Repeater, i add RS sections and phrases (and DD works ingame) but after clicking start riff repeater it freezes up. Sometimes other people's CDLC have this as well. Anyone got an idea what this might be? and how can I fix it? 2. When i add Leading Silence and click on add/ok/confirm it creates a 3 second chart. The actual chart itself with the notes dissapears. I follow the exact steps in tutorial video's posted here but still it wont work properly. 3. Tone switching, I add the tone switches in EOF. Make the tones the same name. And in RS Toolkit I select tone A and B in the settings. But it wont switch in game. What do i do wrong? 4. Sometimes i get a error saying "There is no COUNT phrase, but the first beat already has a phrase"... I Would like to make quality CDLC with DD and RR and good tones but cant seem to get it working atm, thanks in advance!! Greetings
