  1. Amazing work! I always wanted to have these stats/

Is it possible by any chance that you can code the application to show the tone settings of the song for each different section and possibly write the value to a file dynamically?

I'm playing using microphone mode and hear to what i play through my Boss Katana Amp. I have a devreloper on the Katana side that wrote a very handy app to change the katana settings super easy. If his app could read the value of the tone status of the game, it can translate it to a user defined patch for Katana and push it to the amp.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Much appreciated

  3. You can't pause the Riff Repeater. It's the biggest failure of RS2014. So you have to find ways to work around that.

If you're playing customs, there's a decent workaround:  open up the file in EOF and add in more sections. You can break the solos down into as many sections as you need -- they can be as short as a single measure, if you need it. This way you can get right to the parts that are giving you difficulties.

There's still a couple measures of lead in, but the turnaround is much faster -- you don't have to sit through 20 measures of rewinding. Once you've learned the parts, you can start to combine them into longer sections and increase speed.

This won't work with official DLCs of course, only with psarc files.

how Can i Do this with a CDLC?

  4. Hi

Riff Repeater is a great tool no doubt but in my opinion for rhythm parts mostly.

My problem is when trying to learn solo and fast lick parts it is hard for me even in very slow speed and it bores to death .

Is there any way to increase and decrease the speed on the go? pause the riff repeater without restarting the part after resume?

and mostly is there a way for riff repeater to act like lessons part? Like it wont go to the next note until you hit the correct one?

    Thanks

  5. All your words are right. It is not bad to play rocksmith all the time. At least it is far better than not playing.

But goals are different. I don't want to play couple of songs to impress ppl.

I want to become a real guitarist. Someone that knows music theory, technique and the art of performing.

By music theory I mean chord progressions, scales, keys, making melodies and how to mix all these. In all the fields above rocksmith has something to say. But the problem I meant is: I feel like it makes me lazy somehow or addicted whatever the word is and then I won't feel the joy outside rocksmith. Only hitting scores and etc.

I say again rocksmith is a revolution in learning and it helped me a lot. More than any thing

  6. Hi

I've been practicing Electric Guitar for 3 years now and I've been practicing seriously.

Just practicing, I mean just patterns and techniques and stuff. a little songs practiced. Until I met rocksmith. now the whole time I am using rocksmith and I've Improved big time.very big time.

I've got a problem now. I don't practice techniques and patterns and stuff. It makes me feel guilty cuz all I do is I play songs now. That's not bad but Improvement needs something more than playing favorite songs.

and playing with my amplifier, effects has become history.

    what's your opinion? :)

  7. It is very nice to have approved cdlc's. Playing the right sequence of the notes is very important in the feeling.

Two suggestions: 1- distinguish quality publishers so they earn level or reputation from each approved cdlc.this will encourage ppl.

2- create team of testers .I don't know how you what to choose. But anyone that reviews the song at least once and rate or post a comment is sufficient.

  8. Make a fist with thumb on the first finger. Do not use preasure. Very relaxed. Now put the pick between these two fingers. Not very much of the pick visible. This is the most standard way.
