  1. I will do it when I get some time over, can you help me out if you get everything you need from the projects? Someone else with a lot of free time? For 1 and 2. Changing the tuning in the bass.xml file should be enough for a quick fix. then follow 3 and 4. For example you can repack Tattered Banners And Bloody flag with this bass arrangement: File and follow 3. and 4.
  2. Thanks, I haven't had the time to test any of the new AA songs. Greate work!
  3. F**k, I need more time with all new songs and customs I want to do...
  4. Maybe I can use this for the clean part in The Hero. And thanks for the v3 with B standard.
  5. For me, everyone is free to use whatever they want from my customs. Especially if there will be more AA customs. :) Alex360 made all my tones as a base I think and I've only changed small things in some of them.
  6. Sorry, don't have that much time left doing AA songs right now. If someone want the project files, let me know. For example "The Hero" only need some tones, everything else is ready. Probably some bass problems with the drop a tuning. If I remember correctly the other songs in first post is also synced, but need some vocals and maybe new tones.
  7. If it's drop A, then I need to change it to drop C? Then almost every note is gone in my current custom. Then it's probably better to remove the bass arrangement? This is my first custom that I know of that have big problems when I test it with the bass emulator.
  8. Thanks, it was useful. I think I will switch to upper part from 00:02 and switch back to down part from 00:16. That should be close to the live video. Packing it up now and see how it looks.
  9. Hi, got some decision problems with The Hero and I'm not sure what to do with guitar 1 and lead 1. The GP tab have 4 guitar. http://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/amon-amarth-the-hero-tab-s31087t0 1. Guitar 1, that I think is the main lead with distortion. 2. Guitar 2, that is Rhythm. 3. Lead 1, have some parts that would be nice to combine with Guitar 1 but with a different tone. But it will overlap some other nice parts in Guitar 1 tab. 4. Lead 2, I think i can leave that out, almost no notes. Video with Lead 1 on top and guitar 1 at bottom: Regards
  10. I think your AA_Dist tone works really good for rhythm in twilight of the thunder god and tattered banners. Probably for more AA songs as well. Nice to have it assigned and change it in game.
  11. I had a GP file once that gave me this problem with repeating sections. I then moved the sections after the repeating sections to the right place and then did a copy paste into the gaps for the repeating parts. Don't know if this is best practice. This is a Monday morning, there is a chance that I'm missunderstand your problem.
  12. update: Fate Of Norns. Edit: Looks good except fade out? Will release this to submitted section and maybe fix the fade out if it's annoying.
  13. Update: Fate Of Norns v0.4 with fixed tuning and notes. Still missing vocals. Who use vocals anyway? I will add them to complete, but never have the time to watch the vocals. :) Edit: Working on the vocals, 1 min in...
  14. This is how I do it, I haven't found any problems with this method for any song. Never tried 7 thou.
  15. Sorry guys and nice work. From EOF: http://i62.tinypic.com/rwni52.jpg I will fix this in next version.
  16. Started with Warriors Of The North. GP file looks a bit messy with Guitar 1, Guitar 2, Additional Guitar, Extra Guitar 1 and Extra Guitar 2. But it sounds and looks fun to play. Looks like extra 1 and extra 2 are the same. Need to merge some arrangements and learn to shift tones in the lead arrangement. Intro and outro sounds clean.
  17. Update: Fate Of Norns v0.3, new custom tone. thanks Alex360.
  18. Nice work, can test that in Fate of Norns today. Any useful information: http://itsmetal.tumblr.com/post/5246607054/olavi-mikkonens-amp-setup-what-we-have-here-is-2
  19. No tricks at all, but you need a good gp file and sometimes test different ones. And there will be errors and I haven't found a 100% correct gp-file yet, but it-s easier to fix wrong notes and missing sections when the notes are in sync.
  20. I always use Sonic Visualiser with some plugin to analyze the guitar.ogg file and export to tempo/beat file. It works every time and takes about a minute. There was a little tutorial "I think" in the EOF thread on the old forum. Was it raynebc who wrote about it? My memory isn't the best right now and I don't have that computer with me, but maybe I can do a quick video this weekend if it helps others get the notes in sync.
  21. Thanks, I will try this on my next custom. Is this suppose to mark the notes with tremolo or does it for example add 16 notes if the GP tab have a tremolo note marked with 1/16. Sorry for my bad explanation or if I'm off topic here.
  22. If I have some time over this weekend I will start looking at these songs from the Deceiver Of the Gods album: 1. Warriors Of The North. Sounds fun to play. 2. Father Of The Wolf. I think it was a old request and I like this song. Then some more song on my list I want to learn. Album: Twilight Of The Thunder God The Hero Album: With Oden On Our Side Valhall Awaits MeHermod's Ride To Hel - Lokes Treachery Part 1 Under The Northern Star Album: Surtur Rising Tock's Taunt - Lokes Treachery Part 2 War Of The Gods
  23. This is something I missed when importing. Can you explain a little more?
