  1. I do this all the time. You have to play the songs in riff repeater, that way it doesn't drop the level down. I am also plugged into my amp and not RS, and haven't had an issue. I just have to be sure the guitar is plugged in when started for the tuning portion, then unplug it the rest of the time.
  2. IMHO, nothing wrong with MIM Strats. You will always have some people tell you that they are junk, but they are not. They are literally built right down the road from the US Strats. Same materials ( except electronics), as the US versions. If you want to impress your friends buy a US. If you want a great playing guitar, for much less money; buy the MIM. Check plenty of them, and make sure the body and neck are good. After that, the sky is the limit. I bought my MIM used, and hardly ever played, for $250. Then upgraded to Everything Axe Pick-up Set, added 2 push-pull pots, upgraded graphite saddles, and a brass Trem block. The guitar is AWESOME. Outplays most everything else. And I have the added bonus of having Humbuckers, in all 3 positions, as well as the ability to change them all to singles, and play all 3 pick-ups together. All for around $800 total (including guitar purchase). Worth a thought.
  3. Lol. Ditto on all counts. DD to 100% would be great. It would also be nice to be able to lock it in, so it doesn't drop down when too many notes are missed. I frequently unplug guitar, and plug into my amp, while playing Rocksmith. I can adjust volumes better, and I think it is better to try to train your ears to hear the songs instead of your eyes to watch the screen. This has helped my song retention 10x over. Many times I have found that Rocksmith will not always count the note you played, even though it is correct; so you spend alot of time watching to see if you are hitting notes, and it is easier to hear them. As far as having to many CDLC's in folder, I have been wondering about this for awhile now. Other than the link provided earlier for different profiles ( seems a little involved ), Couldn't you just move your CDLC to seperate folders outside of Rocksmith file, and then just input whatever folder you wanted before starting the game? I know if you wanted to change song list, you would have to shut down game and switch folders, then reload. But this might speed things up a bit.
  4. Nevermind, I just found the link on the quick info page of each song, for the music video page. I guess that would do just fine. Once again, a question answered with just a little time exploring.
  5. Have to say, I didn't like the Ignition when I first checked it out. Went back in yesterday and played with it for quite a while, and am now sold on it. I guess it is because I am one of those people that have a hard time getting used to new things. Not sure if this is a big thing for most people but I do miss the ability to hit the Play button in the old search, and hear the song before downloading or linking to another page. It is not a huge deal, but was nice, when you look through and aren't completely sure on song title's etc. Otherwise, the Ignition is a nice upgrade. Hopefully people will spend just a little bit of time with it before throwing out too much criticism. I could have done this, but glad I didn't, because I now like it much better than the old.
  6. By the way. Wasn't trying to break any legal rules or anything like that. Just wanted to see if I could transfer something already paid for.
  7. That is what I suspected. Thought maybe there was a chance with the converter or something, but no big deal. Keeping XBOX version anyway. Thanks for the reply.
  8. Hey guys. New to the site. Found it while checking out things for Rocksmith, and immediately went out and bought the PC version. The CDLC's I have used are awesome, and am very glad to have found you. My question is: I already had RS-2014 for XBOX and have quite a few official dlc's for it. Is it possible to transfer them to my PC?
