  1. Thanks for making this! I've started a few more. They're in various states of completion: The Lengths - rhythm mostly done, daunted by the lead slide partWork Me - startedNobody But You - startedMy Mind Is Ramblin' - started In the future I'd like to do these ones if no one has gotten to them by then: BustedFunk #49Hard Row
  2. I've got the rhythm and the vocals for that done but adapting the lap steel part to guitar without losing too much is challenging! I'm trying to keep it to standard or an open tuning.
  3. I just saw them on Saturday and now I'm in Misfits mode. Skulls will be up soon, hopefully a few days. Maybe Die, Die My Darling after that. Depends on what I listen to in the meantime.
  4. Saw the Misfits last night at a small (300 person) venue for a benefit to build a skate park. Openers were Regret the Hour (great), Heart of the Matter (eh) and Tournament (pretty decent). My hearing is almost back to normal.
  5. That's what I do. Open the mp3 up in Audacity, add leading silence and export a .wav to bring into EOF and an .ogg to bring into Wwise. That said, maybe it's because I play through whatever headphones I can find or the years of listening to old blues and old time recordings that sound like they were recorded to wax cylinder, but I'm no audiophile and I think this is a non-issue. I haven't downloaded a custom yet that I thought had a bad sounding recording.
  6. I played Reach for the Sky and each track started and played well. Good job!
  7. "That's not black melodic djentcore. That's blackened death metalcore. There's a difference. You're stupid."
  8. I'll give it a shot when I get home from work tonight. And thanks for the Social D!
  9. Neither have I. I'll give them a try though. My first thought was that they were that awful boy band but now I realize their name is One Direction, so pretty much anything has to be better than that.
  10. Two good choices! I'll be happy to give you some feedback if you end up doing the guitar parts.
  11. I have a bunch that were submitted before the search engine started counting number of downloads so the actual number of downloads (according to goo.gl) is larger than what is shown. Maybe the same is true for yours.
  12. I love the color on that telecaster.
  13. Lately it's been The Shadows - Apache and The Rise and Fall of Fingel Blunt. When I stop sucking at those I'll add more...probably more Shadows songs.
  14. It's a good thing I'm sitting down because I may pass out.
  15. The Munsters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuHr00nxeew
  16. It's not like a having a live version would prevent anyone from doing the studio version. The more, the better.
  17. I'm looking for "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" specifically, but I'll take anything.
  18. I'm working off and on on a Hank Williams tune right now. The rhythm part is pretty easy but without a tab there's no way I'm going to get the lap steel part down.
  19. If you click "CDLC Search" at the top of the page you'll be able to search for artists and songs. I can tell you right now though that I just looked and there are no Mars Volta songs listed.
  20. This does seem to work much better now. I can stop avoiding capo arrangements now. Thanks!
  21. so.. every time that I want to try a new cdlc I need to check on a thread to see if its reported as "buggy"? but if is new, probably won't be on that list I think reporting it as "completed" as I said would be much more efficient Is that seriously too much to ask? You're already getting something for nothing.
  22. Getting psyched up to see Volbeat tonight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfWXo9gKYJ0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lV9ucjWBcZM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPJ1KIMArWA
