  1. Clicked "like" just so I can unlike those news. Throat cancer is a female dog.
  2. Hmm, how about a fuzzy attempt at that! fuzzy_breath.mp3
  3. Download CustomsForge Song Manager from the Tools tab on CustomsForge - http://cfmanager.com/ Recommended repairs: • 100% Mastery Fix • Add Dynamic Difficulty (it can be beneficial to select "Overwrite Existing DD" as it's likely the track is old and the DD implementation has been improved over the years) • Prevent Multitone Exceptions • Adjust Scroll Speed (leave it at 1.3 for ODLC note density) http://customsforge.com/index.php/topic/51771-customsforge-song-manager-official-guide-2019
  4. Couldn't let MaZtoR get an easy victory in that Buckethead song.
  5. Oh, noone had added that to the score sheet. Will see if I can bother to go through the last week's scores one more time to add the bonus scores.
  6. Okay, so we don't have any beginners anymore playing bass, so beginner for this week is a bit harder. We can make the other one a intermediate bonus if people fancies that more, but in the end, those are two good bass tracks for intermediate players. I do hope you enjoy! With advanced rhythm, I feel like that grade should be around 3-4, because it's just open chord shuffling, but since learning those via rocksmith is particularly hard and we have graded them with overly high grades before -> the 6 may be justified. I also cleaned up the first post a bit and re-arranged things (new songs before last week's winners). I think our old posts had way too much clutter, so going miloway (pronounced as my-lowway, but the second w is silent) this week!

  8. I gave up on this chart too, I have no idea what the bends are supposed to be. I think it important to keep the quality level of what is chosen for the Championships at a high level. Is there anything we can do to vet charts better? I'm willing to help if there is anything I can do. We can't improve existing charts, but what we can do is test the songs before we add them to song selection list. Tiny bit of sanity checking to see whether the tab makes any sense. If it has anything weird happening, it shouldn't go to song selection list. But I don't want to put the blame on the people who actually have added songs to the song selection list, because the list has been super dry for months now, and making good selections has gotten harder and harder because of that fact. So we do still need you guys to enter songs to the song selection list. I think ultimately the responsibility to finally go yay/nay on the selected song is on the person who's hosting the week. It is our job to re-check the suggested songs before we host a new week, just to make sure someone hasn't absolutely screwed up with the grade opinion or that the chart is more than reasonably playable. We all have our lives happening around us, so sometimes it is hard to find time to do a thorough job and ultimately we'll all suffer from these mistakes. I appreciate the fact that we have good amount volunteers hosting these weeks, otherwise we'd have way more capo-weeks. Anyways. If you want quality charts, you can't really get any better quality than the works of bwaredapenguin. They are absolutely OCD ODLC quality charts (with the exception of dynamic difficulty)!
  9. Wow. After last week's advanced lead incident, I thought I could not see a more broken chart than that, but we sure proved last week's me wrong. The first part of this song is absolutely ridiculously broken. I'm just not going to even bother playing any more of this week. I'll sort out the current winners and just close this week.
  10. @@DropZone90 scoresheets should now be up-to-date. You can announce the wieners and pretzels
  11. More mastermode madness I get better score, but this was actually harder to master than the lead. So many restarts here :(
  12. Did someone say mastermode? This I just can't do. Rocksmith keeps giving me misses on those power chords. Sloppy, probably should have warmed up before playing this.
  13. The solo part has a lot of broken notes from bends and slides. These are really nasty looking. In the beginning (second phrase), there is a 1.5 step bend marked to pinch harmonic on 5th fret, that sounds like it's wrong. The first note should be unpinched and the second one is a pinch. There is no bending involved. It's supposed to be the same as few bars before. I only gave it a quick sightread/sync check without playing. That solo does need more attention to details, but for a two hour job, that's hell of a lot better than the original was. Rhythm had no major issues. The sustains do sometimes overlap with next notes, which does cause issues with readability, note acceptance and SA scoring. It looks a lot cleaner if the sustains are marked to end like 16th or 32nd note before the next note is due. And further polishing would require attention to details on those finger positions and such, but that's a whole another subject :)
  14. OH! No wonder you sometimes fail at sightreading easy songs. Your whole interface is upside down!
  15. Always got to miss a note! Yup, 8. This is like 7, but maybe 8 is justified for the endurance required.
  16. Toni insisted that I beat his score, but I felt like I needed to rebel, so I didn't.
  17. The ending on this makes absolutely zero sense. an accidental first-try-fc :o
  18. That took a ton of practice. Up from 90 %. Well that solo was unexpected
  19. I was assigned to intermediate bass. I had 99% accuracy, why I didn't win, and what does the gray font and * next to nicknames in the championship table mean? Well, you did destroy the 99.5 % marker easily with your first try on that intermediate bass participation, and you know full well you can hold your own on advanced side. So you do belong to higher class, but you are right. You were supposed to be placed to intermediate in level last week. The gray font with asterisk means that it's below your skill level, black font with asterisk means it above your skill level. I've now fixed the last week's winner list to grant you the intermediate bass win, but please do play all of the bass tracks this week. All off them are below Advanced level. Maybe that will help us figure out where you belong. Lead and rhythm-wise you are definitely at least advanced.
  20. Still no idea what the actual song sounds like.
  21. The hardest part of this one is absolutely the palm muted open string riff. Changing the triplet patterns back and forth like that at that speed. Damn!
