  2. Yeah, but making it light up while the Japanese lyrics are lighting up as well (syllable by syllable), is impossible? I'm wondering if that was just a false memory and in reality the translation didnt light up...
  3. Thank you! Yeah, this seems simple enough I wish I could find the mystery chart.. I could have sworn the translation lit up the whole time, but maybe it is memory failing.. I kinda wish it was two seperate files though because then I could have a seperate font on the Japanese/foreign language and the English tranlation to more easily distinguish them
  4. Okay so I was gonna make a new topic for this but I see its similar enough so I'll post it here. There's a mystery chart I saw ages ago, that was a Japanese song. It had both romanised Japanese lyrics AND English translation together in the same song on screen at the same time. The Japanese was syllable seperated and stressed like normal, the translation had the whole scentence light up at once. It looked like this; Ja+pa+nese ly+rics English translation With the Japanese ontop of the English one. I don't remember what chart it was, what song or even the artist (it was either babymetal or some sort of Japanese idol group like that). Either my memory is fading me or it IS possible to do something like this. Has anyone seen this chart or know a way to replicate that effect?

I couldn't get the actual .json copied for some reason, so I just copied all the text inside it instead Should definitely still work for copypaste though. There are various different weird tunings in here I found in my time of actively seeking out weird tunings on CF, many variants of B standard and other 220 tunings, as well as some for different instruments (I have Cello and Violin at least in there). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MdQl6axirXiD8STQYSxglm0gP1vZLUQr/view?usp=sharing One thing to note: The last few tunings, "E Standard 6 string", "Eb Standard 6 string" etc. are, as should be apparent from the numerical values, octave-down tunings I used for being able to play guitar charts on bass. You can omit those if you want, or if you want to keep them perhaps rename them to "E Standard Octave Down" etc. as that's what they'd be called on a guitar. I think there's a couple E standard octave down charts on here though so that at least might be useful.

One of the things some of us are working on, is a way to fix all those custom tuning definitions without modifying the psarc files, if you have a list of the settings you've accumulated to remove as many of them as possible, please share it with me and if/when we manage to work out how to fix them the way we'd like, I'll make sure as many as we have defined are included. Sure no problem! Do you want the whole list of every tuning I've got in there (even the really weird rare ones) or just the many variants more common low tunings like B standard, Drop A, Bb, A standard etc? If you want all of them, I can post screenshots of my tuning.database.json in its entirety or perhaps upload it to google drive so you can download and look through it.
  8. Personally I found it worth the time and effort, whenever I see a "custom tuning" label I immediately have to get rid of it and add the tuning in! Since I play a lot of weird tunings, it's made it a lot easier to browse them without constantly clicking on songs to see what tunings they're in. Though if you don't play a lot of low tuning songs it might not be worth it.
  9. Yep. I have at least 4 B standards. 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 7 0 0 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 0 0 Pretty sure I probably have a few more too. Same goes for Drop A, Bb, Bb drop Ab... Most 220 tunings have a few variants. My massive tunings list:

I should add that, the pre-made tuning list floating around on here is made for guitarists, if you're a bassist a lot of those extra tunings won't work. you'll need to change B standard to 7 7 7 7 7 7 manually for instance. That's the most common value for it on bass, not the -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 that's for guitar.
  11. PC. I should clarify that Im using this here Dobbes, use CustomSongToolkit to unpack cache.psarc, open cache7 in 7zip and find tuning.database.json, right click, edit. You can add extra tunings from there manually. Note that B standard has many variants in bass paths, some leave out the 0s on the high b and e strings, some don't. Some have it going up, some down. It's usually 7 7 7 7 7 7 because of 220.Those will have to be each added or you'll get some B standard charts that say "custom tuning" , and some that don't. Heres a tuning template for you, just copypaste it and change the fields to the tuning you want. Change the 0s to whatever values your desired tuning has. For instance Eb would be -1 -1 -1 -1 -1 -1. High F would be 1 1 1 1 1 1 "TuningName": { "UIName": "Tuning name", "Strings": { "string0": 0, "string1": 0, "string2": 0, "string3": 0, "string4": 0, "string5": 0 } },
  12. Just adding that you can actually add extra tunings via editing the tuning.database.json in the cache file, I added a few tunings that were not in the custom tuning mod floating around via that route.
  13. Having the same issue. It's been a few days it seems and it still hasn't fixed up! Please respond! I have several I want to get up before Halloween. I managed to finally submit something. Just keep trying. I went to the forums and tried to submit from there, and it worked some how. Thank you! That seems to have worked.
