  1. Hey you already made a great custom why do you need that thought you were already a rockstar. ;) Yea I thrown away many dollars trying to learn. When you finally get totally pissed we will get together and smash the shit out of our guitars. And drink many beers. Some jail time might also be in that get together.
  2. Hey you already made a great custom why do you need that thought you were already a rockstar. ;) Yea I thrown away many dollars trying to learn. When you finally get totally pissed we will get together and smash the shit out of our guitars. It will definitely teach you how to play tabs though.
  3. Looks like Rock Prodigy uses OGG files. MMMMmmmm Wonder if I can import some music in there.
  4. It's an odd feeling. It's like there's a link in the chain that's just missing. I know how to play. I know the key I'd want to play in and the scale I would use. I know various mode shapes and scale patterns, but I have absolutely no idea where to start in putting it all together :P It's the weirdest thing, but hopefully session mode and potentially rockprodigy will help. And it doesn't help that I'm very impatient :D I suppose you would need a tune stuck in your head to start. Session mode is kind of worthless to me. Yea it shows you what notes you can play but you need to have some music skill to apply it I guess. If you figure it out let me be the first to know. :-P Hey I hope you applied the code to get 30% off. I never would have bought it for $100.00
  5. I need to delve into it more now that I understand theory a little bit more. Do you know if there's a way to view/show what chords can be played too? Rock prodigy teaches you a scale then walks you through a tune using that scale. That sounds ideal, this is sounding more and more like my thing. I'm off on thursday, I'll have a look at getting a demo and trying it out. I know what you mean by learning how to apply the scale. I too have no idea. But if they did that I guess they would be writing a song for you. Hang in there someday we will be rockstars ! :D BTW I bought the BB King track today just to see what I get for $3.99 It gives you 3 levels to learn to play it. And hell no it ain't easy !
  6. Rock prodigy teaches you a scale then walks you through a tune using that scale.
  7. I don't think it has bass. Now that you mention it that is strange. How can I be a rock Legend without bass ?
  8. That is exactly my problem no memory retention. A few days playing this hopefully will make me understand better.
  9. Actually I quite like it. Playing rocksmith for 7 months was ok but never really learned much about the ins and out of playing music. I was desperate to learn more and the online lessons were ok but did not sink in. I would recommend this but it is pricy. Download the program and play learn your first song and that will give you a feel what its about.
  10. I agree I like the sideways Note track better and the number system. use promo code (4PACK30) that will take 30% off But yea too price unless you are a complete beginner.
