That worked!!!!! Thank you!!!! I had to uncheck that, then close and restart Steam, then check it again. It pulled the songs down again! Woot!

If I reinstall RS2014, won't I lose all of my scores? Won't it be like starting all over again or no?

Thanks for the suggestions! I am going to try them. I had a chat session with support and was basically told that they can't (or won't) do anything for me until I remove all the of CDLC's. Which I really don't want to do. I did some further checking and it looks like all of the songs from RS1 are missing...not just "A more perfect union".

Okay, great. That might help here because I have those disks from RS1 backed up. I'll see if I can find that song and re-install it. Thanks! Edit to add; No, I guess I don't have the RS1 disk backed up, so I'm unsure how to go about getting that re-installed. I do own RS1 and all that, I'll try to verify the files again...not sure what else to do. I will probably end up calling support.

I recently discovered that a song (at least one, could be more) went missing. "A more perfect union" by Titus Andronicus. It's just gone. It's not in the dlc folder any more. By the way, this is an Official RS song, not a cdlc. I tried validating the local files in Steam, and that said that there were 7 files that were missing or corrupt, and there's now 3 more songs in the dlc folder, but still not that one. I tried going to the Steam store but they don't even list it there, I suppose that's because it was part of the original song list in RS 2014? I don't know. Does anyone know how and where I can re-download it? Thanks for any help you may have.

I'm not sure what might be causing this problem, but I can solve the problem of losing a reply due to some glitch with a web site. If you use FireFox (or Chrome) just install an add-on called "Lazarus recover form". You'll never lose a reply or a post again. I've been using it for years and it has saved my ass countless times. Hey, that's pretty cool! What key is that? It sounds like maybe a diminished 7th dominate 3rd and suspended 13th! hahah! It may not be too special, but it's a helluva lot better then I could do, kudos.

Welcome to CustomsForge! RS will definitely help you in your learning process, no bout adoubt it. :) But I agree that it is much better to supplement your RS playing with other sources of instruction, and having one on one sessions with a good teacher is also important. Keep in mind to that youtube can also be a great source of info/instruction. I wish that the internet would have existed back in the old days when I was trying to learn. The key to whether or not you'll be able to play in a band, and/or compose music, within a couple of years is entirely dependent on how dedicated you are and how much time you put it to it. All those guitar players that we look up to and admire had one thing in common....lots of hard work and practice, practice, practice. There's no way around that. Immerse yourself in it, practice for hours every day, and you'll be amazed at where you are in 2 years. Good luck and drop by once in a while and tell us of your progress!

For me it was John Cougar (Mellencamp). And I still love the guitar sounds of his older music. Hats off to Larry Crane and Mike Wanchic.

I'm not sure what might be happening here, but it works for me on most songs that I tried. Example; Scandal ft. Patty Smyth The Warrior Worked fine. However, U2 With Or Without You (Dan´s version) Did not work. I had to go to the "record page" and play it from there. http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/with-or-without-you-dan%C2%B4s-version-r17707 On that page I see there is two videos, so maybe that's why the preview button isn't working...it doesn't know which one to play? Just a theory at this point. For those of you that experience, can you list the songs that it doesn't work for? And try others to see if it works?

They used to be available here http://www.rscustom.net/dlcbut that link no longer works. You might be out of luck, but I'm not sure. Either way, I'd recommend that you upgrade to RS2014. I could be wrong, I guess I'd try downloading a song from here http://ignition.customsforge.com/and see if it will work on your version of RS.
