  1. Thanks, I will give that a try.
  2. For the past week or so, I have been unable to post comments on cdlc pages. Anybody else having this problem?
  3. Any swans fans here? If so what is your favorite album by them?
  4. I just love being able to practice some of my favorite music, also I enjoy the challenge of playing a song that's way to hard for me :D
  5. Thanks for the ideas, I dont think I have adds on but I will check.
  6. I have been making videos for several months of bass play throughs of cdlc, I see numerous channels doing the same but many of my videos are being taken down. Are there any tips that I could use in order to avoid the removal of my content?
  7. I totally agree with the addition of music theory, it would have a huge impact on people using rocksmith as a legitimate learning tool.
  8. Young Fathers are a very underrated group Awesome song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ChfQyJN9ow also baroness is amazing and USA out of Vietnam also Edge of sanity These are pretty underrated / over shadowed by their contemporaries.
  9. OK so I have downloaded and played hundreds of cdlc but there is one song that wont show up in my song list, Death The Philosopher. I have downloaded it on multiple occasions but it never shows up in game. I would really appreciate some advice on what I can do to make it show up.
  10. If its metal core you are after then look up trivium, there are a ton of their songs on here also there are two revocation songs if you like death core. Trivium songs are not very hard with a few exceptions same goes with revocation. If your looking for a challenge then Death (not metal core) has some of the hardest bass parts on this site, Steve Digiorgio is a beast. Also Gojira (also not metal core) is good for practicing three finger picking if you need to work on that. And finally decapitation is probably the hardest to play if you exclude the crazy Nosferatu by Coroner.
  11. Definitely decapitated symmetry of zero on bass, its so fast and tough on the left hand as well.
  12. For me I want to play in a band but that is very much a long time goal. I have played trombone for almost 9 years now and have only gotten in to bass over the past year. The only goal a musician can really strive for is to suck less lol.
  13. I recently unpacked 620 songs so I dont think there is a limit and yes official DLC will show up because you are connected to steam.
  14. yeah I have been wanting to play those songs to.
  15. there are some born of osiris songs on here I think they're deathcore
  16. never heard of wintersun before, badass thanks :)
  17. Yeah Geddy is an amazing musician I already have a ton of rush though.
  18. Hi first forum post over here, after playing bass for almost a year I am having a hard time finding bass parts that are difficult and interesting enough to make me want to play them. So if anyone could link me to technical death, progressive metal or anything that's difficult and interesting that would be great. I am looking specifically for bass guitar. stuff i already have all the Death songs (so amazing) decapitated symmetry of zero (after 2 weeks of practice I am close to being able to play it proficiently.) mastodon (some are boring but there a few fun tracks to play) Opeth (these are a ton of fun to play) porcupine tree born of Osiris (only one interesting song sadly) so if you know of anything like these especialy decapitated and death please tell me, that would be awesome thanks.
