Hey, this is my workshop page. I will be updating this with various things I am working on, future plans, and more.

 

10/22/2019: I noticed that with the site backup a couple of my latest charts were deleted, I will re-upload them soon. I am currently in the process of getting a new computer, so CDLC creation is on pause right now. I am also starting a full time job very soon, so my output is likely to slow considerably.

 

Current plans: Rework my charts of JDA - DNA and add tones. I am currently getting the itch to just chart a whole album, not sure which though. Also, apparently there is going to be another Thank You Scientist bass tab book, so you can expect me to do that in it's entirety.

 

9/29/19: Apparently there is going to be a new Thank You Scientist bass book coming out soon, so I plan on working on that. Coming out in a couple of days I have some very cool songs. Also I just bought a collection of like 200 anime song tabs that I will be going through over time.

 

8/15/19: Quick update on what I am working on. Sill working on some stuff from MISSA, next I want to get some Summoning done.

 

 

Requests

 

I am always open to requests, however I do have rules.

 

1. Song must have a good tab. If it has an official tab there is a high chance I will take your request (even if I don't like the song).

 

2. Song must be related to other customs I have made. For example, J rock and extreme metal. However if it has an interesting bass line I would consider it regardless.

What I am working on now

 

Just finished a beta version of my next Inferi chart - go check that out if you are interested.

 

Currently working on some Janne Da Arc, Anaal Nathrakh, Inferi, finishing the Thank You Scientist customs, and Archspire customs.

 

Also procrastinating adding tones to my old stuff ;_;

I have several major projects ongoing: Dir en Grey discography, Janne Da Arc discography, Inferi - Revenant full album.

 

If there is a specific song you want done from here let me know, otherwise I am just making these on a whim.

 

Future stuff

 

At some point I will be starting on other visual kei and J rock albums. I have an Oral Cigarettes tab book sitting on my shelf right now.

Your best bet would be to message PC Plum about that. Looks like he hasn't been online in a while though. you can also try asking on the discord.

Hi, I was wondering if there was a charter who would be interested in handling the guitar paths from the new Inferi album. I am going to chart the whole album on bass, but I realize a lot of guitarists want to play the songs. I don't play guitar, and because the songs are so technical I wouldn't want to try and make the paths without being able to test them and check for wrong notes. 

 

This would be a future project, I don't have the time to tab the guitars right now.

Yeah, it is pretty hard to search for them because charters don't consistently put the songs under the composer or the game it is from.

Ok, everything works now. I have no idea how I would replicate it, I don't think I did anything unusual with this project.

Something very strange occurred with this project. If you use the "Beat>Events>All Events" function, it will show that there are 4096 text events defined. This is the limit of how many text events EOF allows a project to have, so it fails to create a default "noguitar" section after the last note in an arrangement, and the error is given. I don't know if a Rocksmith import malfunctioned or what happened to cause the project to have all of these events. It doesn't immediately look like any of these events have any text, so you should be able to just use "Beat>Events>Clear all events" and then the error goes away when you save the project.

 

If you can find a way to recreate this condition, such as by creating a new project and importing a particular Rocksmith XML file, I can see if there's something I can improve. Otherwise I think I can add logic to remove text events that have no text as a workaround.

It turns out that file isn't an EOF project but is instead a web page that was saved with an EOF file extension. Could you upload the file again?

I am getting an error when I save my eof file.

 

 

Error: Default RS sections that were added are missing. skipping writing the <sections> tag.

 

 

It seems to only be on the bass path.

Im getting this error when trying to make a CDLC. I saw another thread with someone with the same issue, so I followed the suggestions but nothing has worked. I have tried both 2017 and 2014 versions of Wwise, and I have tried using the ogg file. Any suggestions? i'm using toolkit v2.8.4.1-82e47ea8 BETA

 

 

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. I forgot to select my Wwise path.

I have a Schecter 6-string bass, It's a high quality instrument. I assume their guitars are just as good.

Ok, looks like I fixed it by disabling and re enabling Vsync on nvidia control panel. 

 

 

 

I have been playing rocksmith for years, but yesterday it randomly started dropping fps making it nearly unplayable. No other games are being affected by these drops. I have no idea what is going on.

PC or Laptop ? What graphics card / chip are you using ?

PC, nvidia 750 ti

Just a guess but maybe RS switched to using onboard graphics. Go into Nvidia control panel and force RS to use it

 

Update: If I run it in windowed mode instead of exclusive full screen i dont drop fps.

I dont have an integrated card, only the 750 ti. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and I deleted all my cdlc but im still dropping fps.

I am confused as to how I can attach a photo to a comment. 

I have noticed lately that this site has been very slow. Each page loads a lot slower than it was just a couple of weeks ago. My other issue is with searching for cdlc. When I use the search function on ignition for things I know are on the site, the results are almost always empty. This problem seems to have gotten worse recently but even before finding things was very difficult.

I have 2, my first one lasted about 2 years before breaking.

I use OBS to record.
